Centrally located hotel, with friendly staff, particularly on reception. A great base for exploring the city, for which one full day was sufficient. Price was also good. Room fairly large, comfortable bed. All good.

Our booking did not include breakfast (although we thought it did - probably our mistake). Breakfast could be bought separately but at 18 euro per person seemed way too expensive. There are good placed to get breakfast for considerably less within a few minutes walk.

The room & staff were excellent. The room had a nice view over other buildings, the bed was comfortable & the modern bathroom was clean. The hotel location is ideal for sightseeing. The valet garage service was fantastic. He took the car when we arrived & at departure it was ready for us before we finished checking out.

We arranged dinner with the hotel one night. We were lead through a back room, through the restaurant next door & upstairs to the most uninspiring dining room I have ever seen. It was bland with virtually no decor. There was a group of 6 at another table & their conversation filled the room. We left & found another restaurant.

This hotel holds a very high standard of service which is so nice to experience. The reception staff were kind and polite and made us feel a valued customer. The room was Spotless and comfortable, the whole hotel was relaxing and holds a pleasant atmosphere. Breakfast was an enjoyable experience and nicely laid out. This is a very pet friendly hotel and much appreciated. I think we will be back at the Gran Hotel for Christmas and the New year. Many thank for an enjoyable stop over on our drive back to the UK

Breakfast and breakfast staff were the best that we have experienced in Europe over the past 6 months. The location is good with a short 10 minute walk to El Tubo. The front office staff were excellent and bilingual. Juan, Jaime and the doorman were excellent. Parking is two blocks away but easy access, good sized spots and reasonably priced at Eu11.50 / 24 hours. Good air conditioning that was easy to control. Excellent water pressure in bathroom. Good lighting in the bathroom and bedroom. Good sized bathroom. The room had a good and functional desk for laptop working. The bed was big and very comfortable with lots of pillow options. The room had both an external door and an additional door to the bedroom to reduce corridor noise.

Not much of a view despite being on the top floor. The internet was fast enough but kept dropping out. The curtains were not completely black out. I hate a shower over a bath which is a bit cramped but at least this one didn't leak all over the floor. No USB chargers in the room. Despite being on the top floor there was still significant street noise. The hotel restaurant is a must to avoid. The food is tiny and about 3 times the price of better restaurants in the area. The lifts are a little small. Overall the hotel is highly recommended but avoid the Restaurant.

The hotel was large but not imposing. The staff were friendly, kind and keen to help and guide. The location is within walking distance to the Old Town where the shops and tourist location. There are plenty of places to eat nearby and the two recommended by the hotel were really good . There is also a restaurant attached to the hotel . The staff are helpful there too.

I wish there had been more outdoor space to sit. Like a garden or terrace.

A superb hotel. The staff could not have been more friendly and professional. The suite was exceptional, in cleanliness, comfort and style. It is one of the nicest hotels I have ever experienced and I have travelled extensively and widely. It was so comfortable with quality products adding to the experience. Breakfast offered a wide choice and set in elegant surroundings. Just lovely all round.

There was absolutely nothing to dislike. It was impossible to find fault with anything! The only thing I didn't like was leaving! Fully intend to return for a longer stay.

Google Maps took us to the front door of the hotel without any issues. Porter and Valet Parking greeted us on arrival outside the main entrance - most welcoming. Efficient and swift check in and check out - very friendly reception staff. Excellent room (515) and brilliant shower in spacious bathroom. Perfect location with all the best bars and restaurants all within easy walking from the hotel.

We left too soon and should have stayed longer!

Beautiful building in a great location and very good value for money. Staff were also excellent and very helpful. Rooms are also very generously sized with nice contemporary furnishings. Great place and just 5 min walk to old town.

The rug in my suite was filthy and the general maintenance is lacking in part. For example, the skirting boards in my room were rotting and needed to be replaced or repaired. Other than that. It was a great hotel.

The hotel was located in the centre easy to get to all the places of interest. Only drawback for us was the steps into the hotel. They had a ramp which they brought back and forth but it was very steep and my husband’s scooter could only manage it with the staff pulling or pushing it ( not really safe).

We liked everything apart from the ramp.

The staff were very friendly and professional, the location was fantastic - in the heart of the city with access to great restaurants, sights and shops.

The internet connection was terribly slow. Breakfast was a little confusing in terms of the setup and expectations. There was limited sitting area to just lunch and have a drink (unless I missed it).
