The hotel itself is good. Friendly staff at reception, especially the man who speaks Spanish. He was so welcoming and helpful all the time. Location is good to get around, both by the subway system and buses. There are plenty of eateries across the street because its a part of Little Thailand neighborhood, the hotel is also convenient for shopping at Ross & Marshals they are just next to the hotel. Target is 10 minute walk. The Walk of Fame is located at the same street as the Hotel, but better to ride 2 stops by subway.

The room doesn't have proper curtains and blinders, I think it is very important not only for a quality sleep but also for privacy, I dont think it will cost to much to install them. Coffee is only available till 11:00am, after that time you should pay, maybe they could provide with coffee machine or at least kettle instead, because many people drink coffee/tea afternoon too. Neighborhood is central but we were really bothered by those homeless people around. They didn't enter the hotel territory due to security guy sitting there, however once you step outside of it, you will see so many walkers, perhaps it is more social problem of Los Angeles, so sorry for them.

Is next to a lot of shopping malls, in the room you can find a refrigerator, microwave .

There are a lot of homeless near by and they get inside the parking lot.

The room (Double Queen) had plenty of space for our family of four and the beds were comfortable. The location is good; a brisk 10-15 minute walk from the the start of the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Across the road from the hotel is Norms a 24-hour eatery.

The area seems a bit sketchy late at night. We walked to and from Mann's Chinese Theatre very late at night and the atmosphere changed as security shut off parts of the Dolby Theatre and shopkeepers closed their souvenir shops. Nobody approached us, but we were careful not to make eye contact and not linger once the pavement stars had come to an end.

I had an amazing stay at the Dixie Hollywood! The staff were incredibly friendly and made me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. The hotel was impeccably clean, and I truly appreciated how well-maintained everything was. One of the highlights of my stay was the complimentary coffee they provided every morning, which was a lovely touch that made my mornings even better. The overall experience was so pleasant that I would absolutely love to visit again in the future. If you’re looking for a comfortable and welcoming place to stay in Hollywood, I highly recommend the Dixie Hollywood!

Everything is perfect and easy. It's on Main Street in Hollywood, so you can easily walk to the Walk of Fame, etc.! There are a lot of homeless people on the streets, but that's normal in LA! It's less important to take care of your belongings. Overall, the community is well located and has the Ross Building right across the street! the super comfortable bed and the spacious rooms

They never have water or coffee. They should put an electric water heater in the rooms and have soap dispensers. It's easier. (The council must have a safe)

Andy in the main office was fantastic. Very friendly and helpful. Pool is being remodelled, so they lose a point for not advising me. The location was excellent. You can catch the 217 bus into the main area of Hollywood for $1 each way. The bed was clean, and the room was cleaned daily. Good solid value for money. Supermarket across the road with everything you need. Department store above the supermarket was a discount store which I spent a good 2 hours in shopping, so cheap and worth a look. Thai food around the area is good.

Only that we didn't have a pool. It's very hot in LA during August.

With events to attend in and around Hollywood, The Dixie was in the ideal location - close to everything, with a Ralph’s across the road, the 101 entrance just a short drive away, so central (and plenty of parking). It’s not super fancy but doesn’t need to be - it’s clean and comfortable, and the staff are wonderful.

It would be nice to have tea/coffee facilities in the rooms (even just some sachets and basic cups would be enough).

Location- in Hollywood, metro subway & bus accessible at the corner, Ralph's full service grocery open late, 24 hour NORM's diner across the street. Helpful staff. Great security.

I needed to prepare a presentation using my laptop. I wanted to connect my laptop to the TV monitor, accessing the HDMI cable ports was almost impossible and the TV remote could not change the input setting. That was frustrating, but the room itself was a fantastic. The swimming pool was not available due to renovation. The property should inform Booking.com so that an update can be posted

About a 15 minute walk to the subway, free and ample parking, across the street from multiple stores, free wifi, fridge AND microwave which is rare these days, rooms were clean, working TV, a security guard outside all night

My moms room wasn't as clean as mine and was a bit outdated. She said she didn't like the bed that it was too hard (she had a king size room for her and her husband) my room with my sister was fine.
