There are a lot of homeless near by and they get inside the parking lot.

We found large cockroaches inside the room.

I had an amazing stay at the Dixie Hollywood! The staff were incredibly friendly and made me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. The hotel was impeccably clean, and I truly appreciated how well-maintained everything was. One of the highlights of my stay was the complimentary coffee they provided every morning, which was a lovely touch that made my mornings even better. The overall experience was so pleasant that I would absolutely love to visit again in the future. If you’re looking for a comfortable and welcoming place to stay in Hollywood, I highly recommend the Dixie Hollywood!

Andy in the main office was fantastic. Very friendly and helpful. Pool is being remodelled, so they lose a point for not advising me. The location was excellent. You can catch the 217 bus into the main area of Hollywood for $1 each way. The bed was clean, and the room was cleaned daily. Good solid value for money. Supermarket across the road with everything you need. Department store above the supermarket was a discount store which I spent a good 2 hours in shopping, so cheap and worth a look. Thai food around the area is good.

Only that we didn't have a pool. It's very hot in LA during August.

Everything is perfect and easy. It's on Main Street in Hollywood, so you can easily walk to the Walk of Fame, etc.! There are a lot of homeless people on the streets, but that's normal in LA! It's less important to take care of your belongings. Overall, the community is well located and has the Ross Building right across the street! the super comfortable bed and the spacious rooms

They never have water or coffee. They should put an electric water heater in the rooms and have soap dispensers. It's easier. (The council must have a safe)

Location- in Hollywood, metro subway & bus accessible at the corner, Ralph's full service grocery open late, 24 hour NORM's diner across the street. Helpful staff. Great security.

I needed to prepare a presentation using my laptop. I wanted to connect my laptop to the TV monitor, accessing the HDMI cable ports was almost impossible and the TV remote could not change the input setting. That was frustrating, but the room itself was a fantastic. The swimming pool was not available due to renovation. The property should inform Booking.com so that an update can be posted

About a 15 minute walk to the subway, free and ample parking, across the street from multiple stores, free wifi, fridge AND microwave which is rare these days, rooms were clean, working TV, a security guard outside all night

My moms room wasn't as clean as mine and was a bit outdated. She said she didn't like the bed that it was too hard (she had a king size room for her and her husband) my room with my sister was fine.

The room was spacious and comfortable. I have stayed at other nearby Hollywood motels and those rooms are smaller compared to the Dixie. The location adjacent to subway metro stop at Hollywood Blvd and Western Ave is excellent, centered in the heart of Hollywood, it is 15 minutes away from most attractions. An added bonus is a full service grocery store across the street. The room can easily handle up to 4 guests with 2 queen size beds. Amenities in the room included a microwave and refrigerator, both clean and in working order.An added bonus, laundry facilities are on the property. The washer and dryer were in excellent condition. Also there is a fabulous pool on site.

My stay was so relaxing, I can sat I liked everything the Dixie has to offer.

the beds were adequate but a little on the hard side and the pillows were lumpy. no real soundproofing between rooms and other guests could be loud at times as I’m sure we were for others.

Good value for money. The hotel is in a good location if you are planning to move around Hollywood or North of Los Angeles. Good parking even for a large pickup. Spacious and conformable room with fridge, coffee machine and microwave.

The maintenance is not great. The main switch light did not worked and the blinds mechanism was missing. The room is clean but when you arrive it smelled not very nice....probably a drainage vent problem.
