The staff are so nice at this hotel. Everyone was pleasant and professional. The beds are very comfortable, and the rooms we stayed in were spacious. The breakfast is sufficient and nice to have included. This hotel has just what you need for a stay.

The rooms are very basic in terms of decor. The rooms we stayed in smelled a bit like mildew, perhaps from the HVAC system. Not ideal, but something to look into for sure. The pool also has a lot of condensation from the ceiling dripping into the pool and on the walk way. A ventilation issue perhaps. Everything in there gets very wet. And there's no big clock in the pool area.

It was my wife and I and our two young kids. This was an excellent value for the money. We loved our spacious room and the beds and pillows were very cozy. The staff is forthcomingly friendly and helpful. The place is clean and well kept and we loved the pool. Breakfast was plentiful and nice. The location couldn't be better. From the hotel we visited Mystic Acquirium, Misquamicut Beach, Mystic Seaport, Essex, Stonington and Old Saybrook Village and they were all easy to get to within 25 minutes or less from the hotel. Plus, the hotel is just seconds off Interstate 95, so highway access is quick and easy.

No complaints. The place exceeded my expectations.

This hotel is very clean and the staff are amazing. They go beyond to assist with anything. This is my second stay here and one of the biggest reasons I chose to return is the reliable cleanliness and the great price.

The hotel facilities are very dated, especially the common areas eg carpeting, walls, etc. The rooms also need a refresh but I believe they may have been updated more recently. Honestly, the staff do an incredible job considering the base they work with.

The room was very spacious, comfortable, and close to amenities. The bathroom was nice and large, and the coffee maker, refrigerator, and microwave were all on a separate island type counter, which was really great. There was a fitness room, pool, and breakfast room down the hall, and breakfast was very nice. Not too fancy, but a little of something for everyone and very fresh. It was an easy drive off the highway and tucked in an out of the way spot. The mini refrigerator was the best I've ever seen in a hotel room. It worked just as well as my home fridge and even re-froze my ice packs!

The room was acceptably clean, however, there were some dirt spots here and there, like smudge marks, and the carpet could've been vacuumed a little more thoroughly near the edges. It was very close to the highway. Our room wasn't on that side, and we were glad about that. All in all, nice place for the price.

We had chosen the room for the accessibility features. The grab bars and shower seat helped so much. The room was easy to get in and out of.

The first night there was a lot of noise all night from the next room. The second night we did not notice this as much. For those sensitive to smell, the scents in the hallway were almost unbearable. If scents must be used, switching to natural fragrances would help as those who are sensitive find it hard to breathe in the chemical perfumes.

The building itself was outdated but it was very clean, quiet and the breakfast was good.

The TV didn’t have many channels and the keycards for the door didn’t work well. We had to get them replaced three times, I asked the girl at the counter if there was a trick to get it to work and she just said she would send someone up from maintenance to reset the door but that never happened. At check in the girl wasn’t very friendly, barely answered my questions.

The location was perfect. Easy to get to, no traffic noise. We weren’t able to stay for breakfast, had to leave early, but it smelled delicious as we went past. The breakfast area was very clean. Everyone at the front desk was wonderful!

When we booked we used one credit card. When we got there we changed it to the one we wanted to use. We were told no problem, but they used the wrong one. When I called to report it, the staff was very friendly, but I was put on hold for an extremely long period of time waiting to talk to a manager. There never was a manager I could speak with, but by the next morning they had reversed the charge and used the correct card. So, not a big deal, just a minor annoyance!!

We found the weekend at the Quality Inn a comfortable and quiet facility. There were a lot of activities in the Old Saybrook/Westbrook area going on that weekend, including guests from 2 weddings, who were staying there, and it was satisfyingly quiet. The included breakfast was good. We liked the spacious room. They don't make them like that anymore. It was very nice that there was a pool that felt refreshing. Love the nearby restaurant, Otter Cove, which is walking distance away. We attended an event in nearby Westbrook, and the distance wasn't too far away from the Quality Inn. We'll return another time. The 24-hour coffee offering lacked fresh coffee and no creamer. However, the front desk reception did go to the locked breakfast room to retrieve some.

The breakfast was subpar. Lication met our needs.

Day staff was clueless, but the evening staff was friendly and helpful. We arrived before room was ready. The staff on duty did not offer to hold two small bags until we explained and practically begged them. The young man at the desk acted S if this was an unusual request. In my experience holding a bag or two behind the desk, in an office is a standard amenity.

Very friendly and welcoming staff. Good room size. Quiet location despite being near the highway.

Breakfast was advertised as hot, fresh and healthy but was the usual basic hotel breakfast of sugared cereal, sugared juice, sausage and white bread. The Fitness Centre was very small and basic.
