Very spacious room with microwave and fridge. Daily service which was great. Very helpful reception staff. Our small requests were met immediately. Comfortable King bed. Great location

Our room was next to a very noisy outside air con unit which went all day until 11pm. Although this did not affect our sleep it meant we could not really use our balcony during that time. Some fresh fruit, yogurt and better bread would have been preferred over tinned fruit salad and cheap supermarket bread, although there were bagels and croissants a couple of mornings. The 'blurb' said we would have a kitchenette, but there was no cutlery or crockery. Only green tea was available - some other choice including black tea would have been good.

Lovely reception staff, so welcoming, friendly and helpful. The breakfast was nice with continental options. The room was comfy enough with a nice big bed.

The coffee maker was broken in the room and also nearly burnt me the first time I used it as the water was sat in the reservoir part instead of filtering out because the jug attachment was broken. We were charged $41 including taxes per night for the breakfast, a paper, towel and chair use etc but the hotel doesn't refresh your room (make bed etc,) daily only once every 3 days which meant our bins were overflowing and resources not replenished.

We originally had a different room, which was one of the standard rooms. Very comfortable bed, good sized bathroom and the air con was great! But after noticing ants, they quickly responded with coming out with some spray. But it was late in the afternoon and we did not want to leave our room at that point, so after another call they changed us to an other room. We got a top floor room with a gorgeous view. The staff was friendly and there was a luggage storage for the last day so we could enjoy the day before going to the airport.

The chairs on the balcony: the beachchair's seat strips were broken, and some of the strips were close to breaking. So laying down in the sun on that chair was not working out, even though the sun was on the balcony most of the time. The breakfast was a minimum without any dairy subsitutes (a few of the options they had were muffins/butter croissants/ milk for cereal) so I had to go to the 7eleven to grab some overpriced breakfast each morning.

Hotel is well located 5 minute walk from Waikiki beach and very close to shops and restaurants in the centre of Honolulu. 20-25 min drive to/from airport. Rooms were clean and well appointed and perfect for our short stay. Great value compared to other hotels in the area. Would certainly stay again.

It's not a glamorous hotel and lobby & hallways are a bit dated (but this really isn't a problem, just a comment). Only real negative was the noise coming from the pub across the road until early hours of the morning (and we were on the 7th floor!). Our kids were on the other side of the building and didn't hear the noise, so would recommend asking for the quieter side of the building. Also, the height of the shower was quite low and couldn't be adjusted. So not great for tall people.

The Staff was amazing! The hotel is smaller than the typical chain hotel which we liked. Just a comfy hotel. Beach towels and sand chairs available. There were a couple washers and dryers (you can purchase soap and get coins from the desk. It is humid there so we went through our clothes quickly. The location was great. There was a great tapas restaurant on the same block, definitely a treat. Here is a tip. Uber from the airport to the hotel. There are convenient self serve car rental places via a local app, the airport takes forever. Sandy Beach great beach near the Halona Blowhole. Earlier in the day less crowded.

Close by to the main streets & shopping district.

The garbage truck collection at 3am every morning, The noise from people leaving the bar at closing time form up the street. Not really the hotels fault.

Breakfast was perfect for me since I normally eat light in the morning anyways. My husband however would’ve preferred a little more food but the light breakfast was still enough to tide him over till lunch. I loved the different fruit juices available. The front desk staff and one of the valet drivers were so sweet and went above and beyond for us. After only a day or two of us being there, many of the staff remembered us and details about our previous conversations.

We had a really hard time figuring out where the front door was since we arrived so late. The gate was locked and from the road and gps directions it did not look like a hotel entrance. I understand there’s not a whole lot that can be done about that but it was still frustrating in the moment. Also, though I understand the necessity given the location, the required valet was more inconvenient than convenient. If we wanted to stop back at the hotel in between activities, it was more of a chore than if we could’ve parked ourselves. We found ourselves planning our days around minimizing trips to the hotel.

Close to Waikiki Beach and many large shopping areas. Pink bus runs close by making it easy to get around the area. Early check in with an upgrade; later check out, free luggage storage, shower available for late check out

Looks a bit old and poor views from some rooms.

Excellent location with friendly and helpful staff. Good value for what we paid for Hawaii.

The breakfast was very basic as many reviewers said.

Good location. Good size room.. Comfortable bed. Close to all amenities, lots of eateries and shopping near the Hotel. Easy walk to beach. Public transport at the end of the street to catch a bus to the Pier for boating activities and the Ala Moana Mall.

Although we had a kitchenette in our room with cutlery and plates, there was no tea towel or dishwashing liquid for us to do any dishes. Be good to have another easy chair in our room and instead of one sun lounger on our deck two easy chairs would've been better (like other rooms).
