The hotel is newly renovated and the room a standard double room is provided with a very good working airconditioning. It is not making any noise, and it keeps the room at 20 degrees, while it is outside more than 30 degrees. There are plenty of restaurants and breakfast possibilities. It is close to La Defense ( 10 minutes walk). It is close (2 minutes) to metroline 1 station to Paris center and la Defense. The hotel was very quiet, no outside noice coming in. The rooms are very clean. Sufficient lights , fridge, and desk.

Very welcoming, helpful staff who ensured our bikes were safely stored inside. Very comfortable bed, the cold buffet was delicious- especially the cheeses. The coffee was not fron a machine and all the more appreciated. Idéal location for the Fondation Louis Vuitton. This hôtel was booked because we were visiting the Hockney exhibition. Loved the restaurant on the door step

More plug sockets or an extension charging point in the bedroom would have been ideal

Location easy to drive to with underground public car park a few minutes away. Metro very close by. Choice of bars and restaurants close by. Calm and pretty streets, near to Louis Vuitton park and foundation. Good value price. Clean and well maintained. Room a reasonable size with large double bed.

We booked the smallest room size available for 1 night. The en-suite bathroom was small with the toilet very close to the wall. However, it was fine, no problem for a short stay.

We felt totally at home in Hotel Charlemagne. We arrived on the first day quite late (approx. 11:30pm). The staff member at reception was very kind and welcoming. It was my first visit to Paris and I felt safe, secure and comfortable at this hotel. The room was cosy, spotlessly clean and the bed was really comfortable. We walked a lot on our visit to this beautiful city, and we were always very glad to return to this lovely comfortable room each night!! The Pont de Neuilly station on Paris Metro Line 1, is very close by and takes you right into the heart of the city in minutes. We felt safe walking around the neighbourhood at night time. There are great cafés and restaurants near the hotel. The price of our stay was very competitive and more reasonable than other places we looked at that, which had inferior accommodation. I would highly recommend this hotel to people looking to book a place to stay in Paris. Thank you to all at Hotel Charlemagne.

Spotlessly clean, great shower and a comfortable bed (I'd say medium - not too hard nor too soft). Best part was the reception staff for whom nothing was too much triuble. Nespresso machine in the room was an unexpected bonus! Would definitely return. There are two very Parisian bistros practically next door and it's about a 6-7 min walk to the Metro. Very close supermarket too.

Location was good, very near the M1 metro line so near la defense and the shopping centers etc. traveled with a friend and we found it very difficult to get back at night as the metro was closed midweek from 1:30 I think and some taxis wouldn’t take card but that is not the hotels fault at all! I guess just be mindful of this in case you do plan on going out late. Some nice restaurants and cafe in the area too. We were traveling for a match so it was handy to be near a metro and it wasn’t as crowded. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Hotel is currently being updated but I didn’t notice any extra noise. The room was nice and the bed was really comfortable, bathroom was a little small but I didn’t mind as we were only away for 3 days. Overall would definitely recommend.

Nothing I jumped out, i guess some parts of the hotel could be updated but this is being worked on :)

- Kid (?) managing the front desk didnt bother to even offer to assist remove our stored luggage (we stayed 2 nights before same hotel and stored baggage). He was poker faced and offered no smile to welcome us to hotel either. Felt guilty as if i did something wrong checking in to the hotel. Previous front desk staff were very pleasant but this kid was a expressionless poker face... - We were assured construction work / noise wont affect us, but it smells of construction stuff on 2nd floor and we could hear drilling noises

Smart hotel in a lovely area. Easy walk to restaurants, le Jardin d'Acclimatation and Fondation Louis Vuitton etc. Very helpful, friendly staff. Great breakfast. Good transport to central Paris (metro and 73 bus is excellent). Hotel provides excellent secure underground car parking. provided

Nothing to dislike

Situated in a lovely area and very close to the metro. Decent sized room for Paris and a clean, neat and well equiped room with double doors onto a little balcony. It was perfect! The staff were great and it was handy that it was a 24 hour reception as I only got to the hotel at 1:30am when I arrived.

The room was cozy and clean. Not very big but that is usual for Paris. Very easy access, metro station is 3 minutes away. Nice restaurants near hotel. Quiet area, safe. Very good boulangerie right on the main boulevard with great products at good price. The staff was friendly and helpful.

For me it was ok.
