It’s location

The room needs updating. I have stayed at this hotel before and had a much nicer room, rather disappointing to have been given a room like this. The wash basin was chipped, the beds were pushed together by the windows , no armchair, etc. quite honestly I expected the standard I previously had for over £300 a night!

The property is located near multiple metro entrances. There are cafes near. The desk staff gentleman who helped us when we first got there was wonderful. He stored our luggage for us until or rooms were ready and helped me find a phone store nearby. Rooms were cleaned and towels and linens changed out daily. There was a small elevator but it did the job and we did not have to climb stairs with our luggage or multiple times a day. We had a very nice stay.

The rooms were very small which is common in Europe, but the fact that there was a full bathroom in each room and it had an elevator made it totally fine.

Staff is very friendly and clear in communication. Location is very convenient, easy to go around in the city, yet not the most crowded neighbourhood. Rooms are decent and comfortable.

Facilities are a bit run down. The safe in the room didn't work so I had to carry my passport and valuables everywhere around Paris - not for the faint of heart. Hair dryer died on us after a minute of working (thankfully, ample towels to compansate). Also the TV remote had a minor problem. I asked all these three problems to be fixed. Kindly enough, they said they will forward my request to the technician but sadly that didn't happen. I didn't hear back from them again. Bottom line is, I suggest controlling the facilities when you first check in. Later, you may only be helping the next customer.

Your staff was friendly and helpful. I loved Andy. Very friendly exceptional service. Everyone was helpful while there. I loved being in the front of the hotel to look outside. The lighting was great in my room.

The carpet in the hallways & stairs were a bit dated, which made the hotel look dark & dingy.

The location is perfect - in one of the best districts in Paris, with everything one might need in a walking distance, metro station, bakeries and restaurants right in front of the hotel. Safe, clean, and vibrant neighborhood. The staff was amazing and very helpful, the room was cleaned every day and clean towels were left for us, the bed and the pillows were extremely comfortable. Would definitely stay in this hotel again!

The only thing that we did not like was the fact that you have to be in the bathtub to take a shower and it was very slippery. I almost fell a couple of times and my boyfriend did fall. Just be extra cautious when taking a shower.

We had a lovely stay, even if it was only just one night. The room was for Paris standards quite spacious and had a comfortable bed. Everything was clean, which for us is always a big plus. The neighbourhood was also very lovely, a lot to do nearby and walking/biking distance from all the touristy spots. We parked our car in a nearby q-park garage, which was not even a 5 minute walk from the hotel. Breakfast was very good, though not included in the price. Overall, we had a great stay and definitely will be on our list if we visit Paris again.

Location; friendly & knowledgeable staff. Everything else was fine, but not necessarily great, ie, closet space. Re location: Lots of little boutique, cafes on every corner, walking distance to Luxembourg gardens and St Germain des Pres (though that’s a pretty long walk).

Very important!!! Pls provide GRAB BARS around the tub and shower. It’s a big step DOWN from out of the bathtub/shower onto the bathmat. I’m 82, and was worried every single day that I might fall. (Which would have been a disaster.)

This hotel is right off the subway. With luggage it’s easy to get to. St Germain in a beautiful part of Paris and the Bolangerie across the road is amazing. Every morning we had the croissants and orange juice and both were the best I ever had. The rooms are small and the hotel is older but the air conditioner is amazing! And in our entire Europe trip was the only one that worked effectively, even in more expensive/ modern hotels!

It is an older property, the bathroom configuration is a little awkward and the towels are thin and desperately need updating but the cleaner was nice and although she spoke no English we managed and she always bought fresh towels when we needed them. The lift is tiny, only for 2 people but it was again fine for my daughter and I. The carpet needs replacing. I didn’t feel clean walking around without socks on and I think new carpet and repainting the skirting boards would be an instant refresh for the hotel rooms.

Great location! We have stayed here on previous visits. 6’ieme is fun but relaxed, not as overwhelming as some of the more heavily frequented tourist areas. The hotel is comfortable, clean and quiet. The staff is very professional and accommodating. William is particularly welcoming and attentive, but the other staff are also excellent. We would highly recommend this hotel. The only reason we did not rate it higher was because we paid a lot more than the in the past. Maybe because we booked very well ahead. Closer to our stay the rates dropped and were advertised elsewhere (not on booking) but we were not able to cancel and rebook at the lower rate due to logistics. We felt we paid a bit more than we should have, but nevertheless this is a very comfortable hotel and we will book here again….but monitor rates more closely!

The hotel was in an amazing location. I cannot recommend the 6th arrondissement enough. It was far enough away from tourists traps that we had amazing food the whole time. Also the hotel was right across from the metro. The staff were so friendly, there was an elevator as well for luggage, and the room was exceptionally spacious (for a room in Europe).

The only thing I would have changed was the shower. Maybe it was us but we could not figure out how to work the fan. We could smell some mildew when showering but it’s an old building so that’s to be expected. It would not deter me from staying there again!
