The staff is amazing. Extremely helpful and pleasant. The room we had was very small with a queen bed. Nicely appointed, but very small. The bathroom was a good size and very fashionable in white/black tile. The breakfast was very good. Baked goods, yogurt/granola/ fresh oj/fresh fruit/ham&cheese and assorted breads.Coffee/tea as well. All nicely fresh and enjoyable. Order the full breakfast. Remember to pay for breakfast to be included when you book your room! Otherwise, al a carte.

Our room was very small and faced the interior back, so dark. Not sure how the other rooms are situated. However, as I said earlier, the room was well decorated and the bed was comfortable. After all, you're not going to Paris to sit in your room!

A lovely traditional French hotel in a great location within easy access to all the main tourist attractions of central Paris. Most were within a 30-45min walk. Plenty of bars, cafes and restaurants within a 5 min walk. Staff were very happy to help with restaurant and taxi bookings etc. A special thank you to Pema for all her help.

We were initially given a room right next to the lift which was a little noisy however, when we mentioned this to reception we were immediately moved to another, quieter room for the rest of our stay.

The location is great, 3 minutes from the metro station and 5 minutes walk from Luxemburg gardens. Very quiet street. The hotel is small and cosy with unique ambiance. Our superior room is equipped with a bathtub which was very useful after busy days. The bed is comfy. The breakfast is delicious, fresh, local products. Special thanks to the staff. Everybody was friendly, welcoming and very helpful. Wonderful hotel, definitely recommend!

Upon completion of booking, I asked for an early check in, which we were lucky enough to get. I also inquired about airport pick up, Abdel was incredibly helpful on this matter, he called within 10 minutes of my request, pick up was arranged, and a driver met us at the airport. The staff was wonderful, they know who their guests are, and that makes it very personable. The rooms were very comfortable, not the largest of rooms, we took the twin beds, but this is Paris, I don’t think any hotel rooms are extremely large for that price point. You have the option for breakfast in the morning, coffee is always available in the lobby. If you need arrangements to return to the airport ( it’s cheaper that coming) they will make arrangements for you, they’re very good with timing , traffic can be hectic. It’ll also give you enough time to navigate check in, passport control, security etc. Please give yourself enough time.

We had to walk a little farther than expected to get to the tourist sites, but the Uber prices were not that bad. Also, the metro is not too difficult to handle.

The staff were all so friendly, welcoming and helpful. Thank you to all those at reception who made our stay so pleasant! The rooms were also decorated very nicely, and the beds were extremely comfortable. The neighbourhood is pretty, safe, and close to public transport so it's easy to get around as well.

It would have been nice to have tea and coffee facilities within the room.

Loved the staff, the location away from the tourist mayhem elsewhere, the attractive balcony room, the comfy living room for coffee and chat. Great access to two metro lines and the Luxembourg gardens. Well priced for Paris.

It would be good if they provided a sheet and blanket rather than a doona for summer - too hot!

Ideal location near classy rue Vavin, yet the room was very quiet and we slept really well. Welcoming and available staff. Good quality breakfast (esp. grapefruit, orange juice, coffee, muesli). Stylish lobby to have a tea in the evening.

Beware the new increased tourist tax (we paid 65€ for two), which was added at the end (apparently the city of Paris is squeezing everyone to fund the Olympics). Not the hotel's fault, but perhaps their responsibility to advertise is more clearly.

We LOVE in this hotel and always stay here when coming to Paris. The value for money is just great as you won't normally get this level of service and comfort for such price in Paris. Staff are super friendly and professional and they always give great, concierge-level advice. Rooms and lobby are decorated with so much taste and attention to detail. The location is super convenient, close to the best restaurants, Jardin du Luxembourg and nice shopping areas yet away from the tourist crowds.

This may sound stupid, but the only thing we really dislike is the smell of the shower gel :)

Traditional hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Great location in a nice area, close to Luxembourg Gardens and with lots of restaurants and cafes nearby. Excellent breakfast.

Cost of the room

Reception staff were lovely. Room size was adequate for Paris standards. The lobby lounge area is tastefuly decorated and welcoming. The location was ideal: easy walk to restaurants; bus and metro just around the corner.

A kettle in the room would be ideal. The breakfast was average quality and not sufficiently substantial for the price.
