I loved the location of this hotel! It was just down the street from the Luxembourg Gardens, down the street from iconic restaurants like La Vavin, La Rotonde and Le Relais de l'Entrecote and many others on the Montparnasse. I felt safe walking around the neighborhood and it was on the quieter side of Paris but still close to the tourist attractions. Air conditioning and a lift (elevator)! I know summers can get hot and this hotel had ample conditioning that kept our room cold. Also, many establishments have walk ups rather than elevators, so if you have heavy luggage, you'll need one especially going up to the higher floors. This hotel has an elevator but enough for 2 people (1 person if they have a set of luggage) but it's doable!
I can't think of anything.

We especially liked the location and the homely feeling to the hotel. The room was a good size. On our arrival, we received a warm welcome. Did not know the name of the lady on reception, but she was particularly amazing and helpful. Always smiling too!!
Breakfast was a little disappointing!! Needs more variety, even if they offered eggs, tomatoes, or some cooked meats. Very beige breakfast!! No shower. Just a bath with a shower head. We managed ok, but I would have struggled to wash my hair. Also, the bath was really small. Regrettably, we didn't mention this to the hotel, but after our room was tidied each day, they left our door unlocked!!! Also, the room key had to be left at reception each time we left the hotel, but all keys are placed on the front of the reception desk, so basically anyone can have access to your room. Please be aware of this!!!

The hotel was a lovely small hotel in the perfect location. Two metro stops within easy walking distance. The metro is key in Paris and we could get to most sites within one metro line. A nice quiet street with close shopping for groceries and restaurants to sit and enjoy the view. An easy walk to the Luxenberg Gardens, just beautiful for an evening stroll. Perfect for a family. The reception staff were all lovely and friendly, they really helped us out when we left something behind. They went above and beyond to help us. The hotel has five floors, three rooms on each floor with a lovely big window and view. Comfy beds and everything you need.
A minor inconvenience, the room doors close loudly, you can hear doors opening and closing when your neighbours come and go. We had a lovely quiet floor, at one point we wondered if we were alone in the hotel!

Friendly staff, location is great, easy to access public transport, close to a bunch of restaurants (the street with a ton of crepe restaurants was our favorite). Breakfast restaurant located in basement of hotel. Options there were very simple (croissants, coffee, jam, bread etc) but it was nice to have as a back up when we needed to be up early (7 am) and surrounding cafes were not open yet. AC was great. Bed was comfortable.
Room is small, towels were old, pilling and rough in texture. Shower is french style which is fine but was different for us as we are use to using a showerhead. Room is slightly cramped. Room key system is a little odd (leave it with the front staff when you leave). Cost is high given quality of room, basically paying more for the ability to stay in a city as popular as Paris.

The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The location is excellent and the beds were very comfortable. The continental breakfast was very nice and it was nice to come back to a freshly made bed and fresh towels after a day of walking around Paris. Nice air conditioning in the room and although we had a front facing room, the windows kept all of the noise out so we had a good sleep.
The shower didn't fix to the wall which meant I had to hold it while washing. The carpet had a few stains on it so could do with being replaced soon.

Loved the bathtub and the room was very clean. Very close to lots of restaurants and the Jardin du Luxembourg.
The breakfast was served by a very friendly server. Consisted of continental breakfast type food, baked goods, yogurt, coffee and juice. It was served in a really cool basement that reveals the hotel’s age. It would have been complete with an omelette! The elevator accommodates one person with a carryon.

Good location, very close to Metro and less than 2 minutes to some great restaurants. Quite a quiet neighbourhood too. Friendly staff, all speaking very good English and all very helpful. 24 hour desk which made coming and going really easy. Very comfortable beds and decent sized room with extra pillows and blankets available. Windows fully opened onto the street which was lovely. Very clean and well stocked Bathroom with a decent sized Bath. Easy check in and out and quick communication during the booking process with planning for arrival times etc.
Shower was just the bath attachment, but this was a minimal issue as we only stayed the 1 night and water pressure was still decent. Lift was very small, making the stairs an easier option. If you require the use of a wheelchair thrn I would say it would be a difficult fit, or if you are a sz 14 plus (as me and my friend both are), it could be a little too tight in there. Obviously, this was restricted by the building but perhaps choose a more accessible hotel or book a ground floor room if possible if needed.

Staff were amazing, they were so kind and sincere. Location was wonderful, it was so close to everywhere. Our room was very good especially comparing the small rooms in Europe. The only thing I dislike was the elevator which was very small. We were at the first floor so we needn’t to use it. If you have chance ask for the rooms at the first floor.

Hotel Danemark has 14 rooms on 5 floors serviced by a tiny lift. It is close to 3 different metro stations which was perfect for getting to all of the tourist destinations. The staff were fantastic and very friendly and helpful. The beds were comfortable and our room had an ironing board and iron. There was a small supermarket nearby and plenty of restaurants/cafes/bakeries etc nearby. The neighbourhood is relatively quiet and we felt safe walking around at different times during the night/day.
Our room was small and dated but clean and the hand held shower in the bath tub took a bit of getting used to. There was no overhead shower. At times the AC did not turn on as it was set not to be turned on when outside temp wasn’t hot enough..Occasionally we could hear the occupants of the room next door when they were on the phone. Fresh towels daily would have been nice too.
