Lovely welcome, very simple but effective accommodation, loved the room, spacious (for Paris) squeaky clean and the bed was a marvel to sleep in.

We loved that the Hotel Helussi was in a quiet neighborhood with easy access to the metro. It also had many restaurants and markets within a few minute's walk. The hotel was clean, had robes, heated towel racks, a confortable bed, a safe, a refrigerator, and coffee and tea in the room. We chose a room on the 6th floor with a balcony - a bit more expensive, but roomy with a lovely view across the city. The staff could not have been any nice - we enjoyed talking with every one of the staff - and they gladly assisted us with directions around the city. Their breakfast was not extensive, but had a selection of eggs, breads, cereals, fruit, juices, and hot beverages. Pastries and water (with a glass refillable bottle in the room) were available in the afternoons/evenings. We would definitely stay here again!

No concerns or complaints

I chose the Helussi Hotel for my daughter and I to stay in for 3 nights while in Paris. We arrived on the train from London and one of the advantages of the hotel was that it was only a 15 min walk from Gare du Nord. It was also a 5 min walk from the metro (Poissonniere station), which made it easy to get into the centre of Paris when we went sightseeing. We arrived around 7pm in the evening and the reception staff were very pleasant and helpful. Our room had already been setup as two twin beds which I had asked for during the booking process. The hotel itself was small (only a few rooms on each floor) but it was clean and modern and had a nice feel about it. It was also nice not to be staying in the heart of Paris and the main tourist areas, it had a local feel about it, with a couple of restaurants (we are at the pizza place) located nearby. The hotel also offered breakfast in the morning, which had a selection of different cold and hot options. It was a good way to start the day, although by the third day we were looking for a bit of variety.

There was nothing we didn’t really like about the hotel. It suited us perfectly for our short stay in Paris.

We stayed at this hotel for a week and were satisfied with the service. We arrived early and were able to leave our bags, which were brought to our room by the time we checked in. The staff was polite and welcoming, offering us drinks upon arrival. The room was cleaned daily when we hung the housekeeping sign. One day, we forgot to put it up and initially thought the cleaning was skipped, but it was done later. Used cups and bottled water were also refreshed every day, which was a nice touch. The hotel is conveniently located, with many cafés, the metro, the opera, Galeries Lafayette, and other attractions within walking distance.

What we didn’t like: The room was quite small, and the price-to-space ratio wasn’t ideal (though this is common in Paris). There was little storage space, so we ended up living out of our suitcases. I can’t say anything about the breakfast, but bottled water and a selection of tea bags were readily available.

Great location. The room and bed were a good size. And we had a sunny balcony.

My wife and I stayed for 3 nights at the end of our trip and found this to be a comfortable place and a great location for seeing Paris. The room was updated and comfortable and we had no trouble getting extra pillows and service every day. The location is great - we're walkers and this is 10 minutes from Montmartre and 17 from the Opera, but since it's only 1 block from a metro stop the whole city is easily reachable. Breakfast was a good buffet with enough choices to be a step up from a continental breakfast. And the staff was great and very accommodating. And not to mention a laundry half a block one way and a good sized grocery one block the other. A great combination that we'll be happy to stay at again.

The bathrobes & slippers, balcony and some staff were good and kind, free water refills + coffee

When we initially arrived, we were told by this young lady receptionist that we can help ourselves with anything we like in terms of drinks so water + juice when it’s available. However, this other guy staff told us to ask for his permission first before getting any drink - which happened just after we checked out. I guess the rules are not consistent and it’s just annoying to get called out for enjoying one of the things they offered for free which I really liked at first up until this incident happened. Also, when we asked for the room to get cleaned, they didn’t change the sheets, only emptied the bins and changed the towels to think we were there for 7 days and we asked for one day to get it cleaned.

Loved having both an electric kettle and coffee maker in the room. The front desk people were all very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the window overlooking the street. We could not hear the neighbors in the room next to us. Walking distance to a Metro Station and train station. Great bakeries nearby too!

The shower was a little slippery. A bath mat would solve this.

The room was a good size for a hotel in Paris and the bathroom was spacious, with lovely shower and very modern. The hotel was close to the metro train. There was a good selection of cafes and restaurants close by.

The room was hot at night but when we asked about the air conditioning we were told it had been turned off for winter and was not available. We were told to open the window but the street noise prevented us from doing this and therefore the room was uncomfortable at night.

The hotel's location was very good as it was close to Gare du Nord (convenient when you arrive by Eurostar) and also close to a metro station. The neighbourhood was pretty and quite. The room and the bathroom were spacious and clean, and the bed was big and comfortable. The staff at the reception was very friendly and attentive and always smiling. They also provided us with plug adaptors as ours wouldn't work. Our room was on the sixth floor and had a pretty good view of Paris.
