Nice rooms. Powerful shower. Comfortable bed. Good location. Very clean throughout.

I paid Booking.com in full several days before arrival. Despite having confirmation of this and the money being taken from my bank account, we weren't allowed to check in without given preauthorisation of full amount again, plus additional fees. Staff were very casual about this and initially stated it would be rectified AFTER check out. We had to push to have the preauthorisation cancelled (as money is unavailable in your account whilst the preauthorisarion is in place).... it was sorted at our insistence, but be mindful of this when paying through booking.com

the room was very clean. everything was great. very clean. really nice staff and they were very helpful. Location was also great it was close to a lot of places . didn't get the chance to go downstairs for breakfast, the bed was too comfortable i guess lol.

i was asked to deposit 100 euros during check in and that it would be given back at the end of my stay. but i never got it back even though i was told it was going to be reversed back into my account after tax deduction which also wasnt communicated

We loved how close it was to a metro station, although the station closed the day after we got there!. The staff were very friendly and they were anxious to do whatever they could to improve our stay. We enjoyed having a big bathroom with a full size tub and separate show.

Honestly, the beds weren't that comfortable, too firm for our liking.

Booking.com states this property has air conditioning when in fact it didn’t. Perhaps “air control” or however they phrase it but essentially there was no AC and on a summers night I found it hard to sleep because it was too hot. Window had to be open but Paris can be a noisy city. I don’t fault the hotel for this necessarily, but feel really let down by Booking.com’s system of classifying hotel attributes. I would not have booked this hotel if I knew it did not have AC.

Bed was huge and comfortable, but made the room small. Took up most of the room. Desk was small but had a chair with a back. Shower was very good, great pressure. Good wifi. A/C worked well. Coffee maker, kettle, coffee and tea, fridge, room safe, plenty of plugs for electronics. Free bag storage. Short walk from Gare Du Nord but it's an uphill walk going back. Pleasant staff.

Not a great location for the tourist sights. Very expensive. It is the market price but was costly.

Staff friendly, room clean and comfortable. Location is great, right by a metro station.

We had to go out for breakfast because they had run out of pastries and there wasn't anywhere for a family of three to sit. WiFi in my room was very weak, was only 1 night so didn't matter but might have been annoying for longer. Also the cleaning trolleys were permanently stationed by the lift, giving the corridor a scruffy look.

Air Conditioning in the room was SUPERB. Breakfast was good and being available until 10:30a is a nice touch. Our room was one of the a couple rooms with a small balcony.

12m² / 130ft² was tight for two people with full size suitcases. I would recommend a bigger room if you plan on staying for three nights or more.

I loved my first stay at Faubourg 88. My room was excellent - clean, spacious (for Paris, anyway!), well equipped with a bath, separate shower, opening window onto a spacious and quiet courtyard and tea/coffee station. It's right next to Poissonnière Metro station and was an easy walk to my (new) offices by Grands Boulevards. Lots of cafes, bars and restaurants and a decent supermarket, are all within a few minutes walk. All the staff were very friendly and helpful.

No real complaints at all, but to make it an 11, I would have loved a better range of teas. It was great to have a kettle (not common in many European hotels) and a coffee maker but I had just 2 tea bags that were a rather odd flavour blue Jasmine or something - luckily I travel with my own tea bags! I'm not sure if Netflix was supposed to be available (the remote had a Netflix button but it didn't connect) - but no big deal.

The room was quite small and had to shuffle my way around the bed and didn’t have room to put my luggage anywhere. Ok if you only had a small hand carry luggage but as I had a larger one as was travelling to other places, there wasn’t enough room to put it anywhere. But I suppose expected for Paris hotels as I have heard.

Good hotel to stay during weekend in paris. Not a super big room, but otherwise nice room and nice king size bed. Great location, walking distance from Gare de Nord and a metro stop around the corner.

Expected a little bit a bigger room, but in the end still OK. breakfast room not very cosy, but there a plenty opportunities in time to have your breakfeast.
