Oh, this is Paris! The real, immersive, historic, elegant, character-full Paris that we love! We stayed for two nights with an onward journey, by train, from Gare Montparnasse scheduled on the third day. The proximity to the station is a real bonus; but being on a side street affords an air of calm to the hotel environs. The architecture is elegant*. The room was well furnished and comfortable with a stylish blend of authentic vintage and contemporary fitments. We were very pleased. We have both spent time, some extended over many months, in Paris before. There is something authentic and comforting about the gentle rumble of the metro - silent through most of the night - as a background to waking for a new day of adventure in this great city. We would very happily stay here again: a top recommendation. [If you prefer the predictable cuboid anonymity of international hotels - where nothing in your entire experience demarcates Paris from København from Milano - then don't stay here: leave the rooms for people whose "souls still sing"!] Staff were helpful and welcoming, with 24 hour availability. They deserve credit. [*simply take time, when ascending the stairs, to consider the carpentry involved in creating the curved wooden banister rail - that, alone, is a work of artisans]

This was such a cute, comfortable and quiet hotel. Sleeping was lovely- we didn't hear a peep. A very close walk to the Eiffle tower and very nice shops and restaurants a quick 10 min or less walk away.

The only thing was we had trouble figuring out the AC system at night it got a little warm but that was easily fixed by opening the windows and letting a cool breeze in which was great.

The room was lovely, small, but I suppose that's perfect for only one person. I chose to include breakfast in my package and I would highly recommend that. The food was delicious - excellent variety. The location of the hotel is just perfect, it's very central - walking distance from the metro, and there are plenty of restaurants and bars in the area too. It's also very safe to walk at night. Just perfect!

The bed linen could do with improving. Definitely include a flat sheet and have a thicker duvet, since it was pretty cold at night. The bed could have also been styled with more pillows.

Super cozy & clean! The shower was amazing! And I slept like a rock after a long day of traveling. The guys at the front desk were so nice & eager to assist.

It didn't really suit my needs of being centrally located, I had to Uber everywhere, (which was expensive) but that had more to do with me than the hotel. However, the amenities did mention an airport shuttle & when I got there, I was told there's no shuttle but a taxi service that cost €80!!

We really liked this hotel. Small but very nice hotel, when we got our room, it seemed very small to me, and for a small extra charge, they changed us to a large luxurious room. very tasty breakfast, very good attitude of the staff, perfect cleanliness, in the evening from 6 to 8 you can always drink wine and drink coffee for free in the lounge, I will recommend this hotel to everyone and will definitely stay only here on my next trip.

I liked everything

beautifully decorated and clever design in welcoming communal areas and bedrooms so it was easy to share with a friend, have everything up, have a nice bathroom. very comfortable bed. incredibly friendly and lovely touches like complementary glass of wine to wind down and catch up, help with anything, nice breakfast etc

very hard to find fault. close to a good train station and we walked to all of the sites but I guess not quite as central as other hotels

Beautiful hotel in a great location. Eiffel Tower half hour walk one way and Notre Dame, Latin Quarter half hour the other. Rooms are lovely. Breakfast was delicious homemade cakes and croissants. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Very clean. Lovely touch of wine and nibbles put on in the evening. Will definitely go back.

Very welcoming, staff extremely helpful Lounge opened at 6:30pm for drinks, canapés and games- all free! Reception 24 hour so didn’t need to take the key out There’s a lift for the heavy suitcases!! Modern looking interior for the reception and rooms. Super clean Close to train station Walking distance to a lot of sights Quiet location

The pillows didn’t leave much to be desired for me. I tried every single one available in the room but all were too uncomfortable for me to get a decent nights sleep. Parter had a great sleep though so it’s hit and miss. I would prefer to have a choice of firmness as some hotels have extra choice in the cupboard. Our extras were all the same On a chilled holiday I could cope with not sleeping too well but on a touristy holiday you really need the energy for the walking. The pillows is literally the only thing I would say I didn’t like so on the whole I think that’s pretty good

The staff was friendly, but not necessarily the most knowledgable about activities around town. The parlor rooms downstairs were a nice touch, and the side-street location made loading/unloading feasible in big-city Paris.

The elevator could be heard from almost any of the rooms, not terribly loud, but noticeable. Air conditioning wouldn't drop low enough to meet requirements.

The property was very nice and the hotel was high quality. The decor looked lovely. The staff all spoke English and were very cordial and helpful. The breakfast was delicious. Our room was well furnished and the bed comfortable. The website was very helpful and it was easy to stay in contact with the front desk.
