Staff and food were amazing

We were quite disappointed with the condition of the outdoor bathroom, which was meant to be a key feature of the garden room experience. Unfortunately, it had clearly been neglected — green moss, bird waste and weeds were overgrown, making it feel unkempt and poorly maintained. The bedroom leading to the bath area door handle was broken, adding to the sense of disrepair. While we made sure to keep the doors closed at all times, we still experienced a significant number of mosquitoes, which made the space uncomfortable. Overall, what was advertised as a highlight ended up detracting from the overall experience.

I liked the room, breakfast and the swimming pool. The breakfast had many choices. The coffee was superb. they had 2 pools. and the pool view was awesome. Liked their staff as they were so friendly.

The room with garden had lots of mosquitos. Bathroom should have bidet for easy use. certain things like pipe and showers have to be replaced as i found a little rusty and old. the breakfast area was very hot even in the morning. They should have fans' or coolers.

Have separate pools to accommodate to different categories of travellers. Nice sea view with its beachfront location. The rooms are clean and the facilities are in good condition. The staff are very friendly and accommodating, and they make great effort to know the customers well. And there are many options of restaurants along the road. Very convenient.

It may be at beachfront but it doesn’t have a beach when it’s at high tide. Can’t launch a kayak nor do I feel safe to swim with the water crashing against the rocky bank. The balinese dinner buffet was not worth the price as the spread was not a lot.

The hotel is clean and well kept. The gardens are immaculate. The staff are friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the pool and beach front area. We were grateful for the room upgrade for our long stay that was arranged by reception staff member gunsri. Would like to also mention the delicious rosella tea that was offered on our arrival.

Limited food options and the cost was comparatively quite high. We noted that there were some individuals who arrived early in the morning to the pool area to book up to 5 or 6 sunbeds only to disappear for hours which we didn't think was fair by others.

From the moment we arrived, the service was flawless. Every team member, from receptionists and restaurant staff to gardeners and bellboys... was warm, welcoming, and went out of their way to make us feel at home. We stayed in a spacious family suite, which was ideal for our family of five. It featured two large bedrooms, two modern bathrooms, a generous living area, and plenty of storage. The private outdoor space, complete with an outdoor shower, was a lovely bonus. The entire resort was spotless, from the rooms to the beautifully maintained grounds. Despite some wet weather, everything felt fresh and clean, with no damp smells or discomfort. The beds were comfortable and the linens impeccably clean. The atmosphere throughout the resort was peaceful and relaxing. We felt completely at ease letting our young children explore and play freely, which made a huge difference to our experience. The beachfront swimming pool was another highlight: clean, perfectly tempered, and offering stunning ocean views. It quickly became our kids' favorite afternoon spot. The breakfast buffet was outstanding, offering a wide variety of delicious options to suit all tastes and dietary needs. The resort’s beachfront restaurant also served up tasty meals, with a great kids’ menu and nightly entertainment including music and traditional dance performances - an added delight while dining. The kids’ club was a game-changer. Our three children couldn’t get enough of the activities, and the staff were so attentive they even took the kids to lunch, giving us a rare and much appreciated moment to relax as a couple. We honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Novotel Bali Benoa exceeded our expectations in every way, and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to families traveling with young children. A solid 5 out of 5 from us!

Prices of main dining menu and pool's ice cream are not cheap. Kid menu is very affordable though

The staff were very kind and respectful. The room was clean and spacious, the pool was clean. There were enough sun-beds around the pool and at the beach. The atmosphere in the hotel felt warm and welcoming. The staff were always ready to help. Beautiful place. Recommend!

Food in the hotel restaurant was not good and was overpriced compared to other restaurants. There were many local restaurants on the street in front of the hotel that had much better food and much lower prices. Not far to walk , so we ended up eating outside the hotel. Other than that there was nothing to complain about.

The main hotel building was beautiful and exceeded my expectations. The Reception team are welcoming (delicious welcome drink!) and the check-in was simply. The main building is Balinese in style yet modern, clean and spacious. The poolside is a highlight. Plenty of sunloungers and sunbeds even though it could be busy, with a poolside restaurant, ice-cream parlour and piped music. The beach however is not the best - there is no sand right next to the beach (instead there the hotel has a little sand terrace with sunloungers), there was jellyfish in the sea and the water itself has lots of floating twigs. All the hotel staff was friendly, welcoming and so attentive. There are many warungs within easy-walking distance of the hotel so that you can have meals outside of the hotel.

We had a room on "the other side" of the main building, across the road, also known as the Garden Wing. Crossing the road to go to the main building for breakfast and the main pool is not a problem nor inconvenience - there is a security guard stationed at the road at all times to stop the traffic so that you can cross safely. The Garden Wing has its own pool, children's pool and bar. However the rooms in the Garden Wing have not been refurbished for a while and this is clearly reflected in the price of the rooms here. Whilst clean, the rooms are old and tired, and do not reflect the 5-star rating of the main hotel and facilities.

Great!! Breakfast. Room was very comfortable and slept great. Staff were extremely pleasant and easy to talk too. Great pool area with many options. Loved being in the pool looking out to ocean watching people enjoy riding Sea Doos, banana boot riding , snorkeling, and the staff at the pool were helpful with great personalities. There was a bar and food to get something to drink or eat . One night I think Wednesday they have a Buffett. It was excellent. We were glad we picked Novotel Bali Benoa . Also easy walk to areas around it to shop, get a tattoo, and of course try local food.

I can’t think of anything. If you wanted to go out of area the staff outside was more than helpful and arranging a ride to get you there.

The food was great! The staff amazing! Massage lovely!

Mosquitos and the fact we had a pram and they didn’t have ramps or elevators. The ramp was in construction but can’t put family on second or third floor without elevator.

Kids Club. We left our 4 year old boy and 6 year old girl at kids club roughly 2 hours a day, and went and had massages, or lunch dates with my wife etc.. surf spots out back on big swells. pool A+ rode scooter around to make use of surrounding areas.. Mama Krisnas fav restaurant food.. hotel buffet breakfast kids ate free so was our daily.. fresh eggs cooked.. bacon susages toast pancakes.. cool fire shows at night etc.. great resort cheaper than nusa dua with similar features..

remember, Bali is Bali and things aren't always 100 percent.. roll with it and don't be a wanker..
