The room was great and location was perfect, the room was clean and comfortable. Walking distance to Angel, shops and restaurants.

They payment method was very strange- via bank transfer. In all my years of travel I have never been asked to pay for a hotel this way. It doesn't seem very secure. I went to transfer and the payment details did not match, and when I informed the host they said to issue the payment anyways. I requested a payment receipt to be sent via email several times and this was never sent.

The property is in a great location and the room is really nice and modern

The only downside is the payment process you paid via bank transfer and not through booking.com it’s all went fine but I felt a bit nervous as I’ve never had to do this. The host was great and reassuring me but I felt I could only relax once I was check in

Location is great for easy access to central London, and the room itself was gorgeous - very comfy bed, good WiFi and amenities eg kettle, toiletries, and of course the amazing jacuzzi bath. Super relaxing stay.

The payment situation unnerved me given the recent scams via messages on the app. Rather than take payment through the app, I was sent two different sets of bank details for a transfer, and the details I was told to use when I called did not match the company name in my bank's online check. This did turn out to be the right details but it was a bit of a hassle and I had to have a lot of back and forth to feel happy to go ahead, answer even then I was worried. Fortunately Ricardo was amazing! But I wonder if taking payment through the app might be easier for guests?

Great little place to stay, loved the jacuzzi and the cafe downstairs.

Payment was not through Booking.com which was sketchy and the communications around check in were poor.

The location was ideal, really close to the theatre and to bars. The area itself felt really safe and easy to navigate. Instructions on how to get into the apartment were very clear and the room itself was really nicely presented and very private.

The communication with the person I was booking with wasn't great to begin with as they want to communicate via whatsapp and payment was made via banktransfer rather than through booking.com which I was apprehensive about at first, but eventually communication got better and all was fine!

Location was perfect! Lovely quite street with many things to do close by. The room was beautifully furnished, comfy bed with all the amenities for a romantic stay including netflix.

All things were pretty much flawless apart from some scum on the far side, hard to reach part of the bath tub. The flooring was pretty damaged around the bath due to it not being suitable for getting wet.

Based on the size and images, I expected a much smaller room than it actually was. The images are accurate and we had everything we needed and wanted to have in a short-term rental. Location was ideal - it's in a no drive zone so taxi's dropped us off around the corner and it was very quiet residential neighborhood which was great for sleeping and something high on our list of amenities. The stairs are narrow and we were on the 3rd floor so luggage in and out took some effort. The codes for the front door and room doors worked reliably and we felt the property was very safe However, the standout memory of this location will be the restaurant on the first floor, Ginger & Mint. Our mornings began there with excellent coffees, juices and smoothies, breakfast and the kindest staff. The dining room transformed in the evening with white table cloths, nice happy hour specials, and lovely food. While there were several pubs within walking distance, the closest is The Hanbury, a local establishment that showed Euro Cup games which we enjoyed. For the location and amenities, Angel House was a good value. We would happily stay here again.

The staircase was steep and steps were narrow. We weren't traveling light so this made the move-in and move-out a bit of work especially since we were staying on the3rd floor. Otherwise, everything was great.

Location was amazing, I travelled to participate in the London Landmarks Half Marathon, the route to get there was very simple as the accommodation was close to a tube station. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was nice and clean, the room was spacious. I did need to get hold of someone during my stay with a question which was answered very quickly. There were lots of pubs/cafe's and restaurants within walking distance.

I found it odd that you had no human contact over the duration of my stay. The pub downstairs which was linked to the hotel (I think) was fairly noisy but in fairness did all stop at Midnight so not too much of a problem. There were some minor things with the room, some light bulbs not working, bedside light not working which I reported as they probably did not know this was the case. More milk required, two sachets is not enough for a two night stay.

Great location walking distance to restaurants etc. Great room very clean and spacious very quiet at night, shower and bed perfect .

Thought we would met staff at arrival but only bar man there who was very helpful Expected to pay on arrival but nobody there. We were then told to pay on the Internet and you would be given a key code for the main door and then a key code for your room. This took nearly 1 hour not the best starts. We were asked to phone with our approximate time of arrival which I did, but I cannot see a reason as you are told to arrive after 3pm. Everything got sorted and we had a very good stay and would use the accommodation again

Quiet location, the top of the hour is heralded by a clock tower, Church bells on a Sunday morning. Self- check-in with the aid of WhatsApp ahead of time by giving a door and room code as well as a video of how to reach it. This is a helpful feature. All clean and tidy. Yes, there is a hot tub. I can't say how good it was as who uses a hot tub on their own? The key plus point is a comfortable bed.

Some of the light switches require inspection. There's one to the left of the window, which is quite loose. Please install a blind over the bathroom window.
