The shower was working perfectly, the room was big for a small hotel, there was a lift, the room was recently renovated, it had air conditioning and a fridge. The hairdryer was actually placed close to a mirror! Very rare in hotel rooms. The window could be opened and the hotel was located very close to the overground and bus stops. The staff was polite instead of rude like they are in the small hotels near Paddington and Kings Cross. There were 2 good food shops next door. The room was cleaner than any London hotel room I have seen.

There was a water leak under the carpet, clearly coming from neighboring room.

Ideal location for the night out at The Macbeth pub. Exceptionally clean and comfortable.

The sloped ceiling above the bed, made getting out of the bed interesting.

Good location, a 30 min walk to London Liverpool Street or 5 min to Hoxton train station or a bus outside the hotel every 10 min to London bridge . Staff very friendly. Could leave luggage. Room very clean. Fridge extremely useful. Had hairdryer & iron, kettle, tv, air conditioning.

Was in a suite with double & a single bed thus the double was at the end under the slanted very low roof. Luckily I am small, easily can knock your head! Room very dated decor. Shower door didn't close properly. Lock on door was hard to turn. Bedside light so dim no point having and no soft light to turn on at night so it was super bright or dark.

The location is truly remarkable, and the staff goes above and beyond to create a friendly and inviting atmosphere. Knowing you have so many dining options right next door is comforting. The area has a charming vibe that feels like a little slice of Vietnam, with many Vietnamese eateries offering delicious meals that are sure to please. It’s great to see that everything is available at very reasonable prices, even with all these choices, making it a fantastic spot for fellow food lovers to enjoy without breaking the bank.

The property is quite old and may require some renovations or decorations soon. Additionally, since it is situated on a main street, some people might find it a bit noisy.

We really liked this accommodation! The location was perfect: a grocery store next door, lots of cafes and restaurants around, public transport was right in front of the door, and you could even walk to some attractions. The area was cozy and safe. The apartment was comfortably spacious, you could cook in the kitchen and the bathroom was clean. The room was cleaned every day. I liked that the reception was open 24/7. The beds were really comfortable and the air conditioning cooled very well!

Of course, the sounds of the street can be heard in the apartment, but it didn't bother us. This is not a luxury apartment, and you can see a little wear and tear, but a clean and safe place to sleep was enough for us.

For a few nights stay before we got settled in london long term it was perfect. so central, always staff on reception and the room looked small but we had 2 large suitcases each, a small case each and a backpack and managed to fit it all in the room and it was soo clean, in the bathroom. Big tick! Aircon worked great and no window but sort of nice without it because no light got in the morning to wake us up.

we tried to book again over a weekend and the price was so much higher :(

We booked a quadruple bedroom, which was located just above the hotel's main entrance. Room size is excellent for a family of 4 (couple + 2 teenagers). We kept our belongings in the suitcases as we only stayed 3 nights and spent most of the time exploring the city. There are plenty of restaurants and bars nearby, Hoxton metro station (Overground) and bus station are just a few steps away. The room was clean, and the kitchenette included some basic equipment and utensils for cooking and dining. The room furnishing is somewhat dated, but still in good shape. The hotel team was helpful with keeping the luggage after check-out time until our departure.

Minor maintenance details could be fixed better (e.g. loose shower hose holder or shower doors), low batteries in the TV's remote control but none of this was an issue.

Clean room, I got 3 beds instead of one, fridge and so on only for me, wow ! What a surprise !!! My room was bigger than my own flat ahah. The welcoming guy at the front desk is calm, kind and polite. As I told him, It's a lovely place to stay.

Unfortunatly, the curtains are very thin so don't wait for a dark room at night to sleep. I found it hard to fall asleep and woke up early with the rising sun. I was too exausted to put towels at the windows or something to hide the street lighting. Pitty !

I love that it was very central and that there was an air conditioner in the room that you could can control if you wanted warm and cool air. Very rare to see in most hotels so it was a nice surprise for sure :)

The walls were extremely thin and you could hear everything and there was a lot of noise especially in the mornings which made sleeping difficult. The towels were too small. For a room with no windows it was definitely good but it was overpriced for what you get

The Facade and interior decor were understated Euro-chic. The room was cool and secure (We were on the ground floor with no windows, which worked well for us to get a good solid night's sleep. The bus stop was a few steps away. There were excellent restaurants and a bakery within a few steps from the hotel. The Liverpool underground station was also nearby. There were several Overground metro stations. There was more of an authentic neighborhood vibe with mini-markets and few obvious tourists. Just a great location for us!

The shower stall was a bit too small for my spouse.
