We had acery comfortable stay at Hoxton Central, the staff was very friendly and helpful, the room comfortable, very well equipped with kitchen and table with chairs and very conveniently located. I always bring a few utensils like ktchen knifes and scissors when self-catering which came in handy but generally cutlery and dishes were good for the three of us. We didn't need the air-conditioning but it was there. The noise level was what you'd expect on a main road in a major city but we slept well. There are lots of shops and food places close by and the bus stop is at the door step, the overground for the airport connection around the corner and the area has a nice relaxed vibe. Do check out Hackney Community Farm and cafe, the Troy food place and the Vegan Vietnamese restaurant !

The shower was working perfectly, the room was big for a small hotel, there was a lift, the room was recently renovated, it had air conditioning and a fridge. The hairdryer was actually placed close to a mirror! Very rare in hotel rooms. The window could be opened and the hotel was located very close to the overground and bus stops. The staff was polite instead of rude like they are in the small hotels near Paddington and Kings Cross. There were 2 good food shops next door. The room was cleaner than any London hotel room I have seen.

There was a water leak under the carpet, clearly coming from neighboring room.

Everything about our stay was wonderful we were delayed flying in so arrived an hour later than planned but was warmly greeted by the receptionist who kindly upgraded our room with out us even requesting. The hotel was lovely and very accommodating even allowing us to check out an hour later. The room was very nice and spacious. Kitchen had everything we needed aswell and even were able to do a load of washing which was very handy. The staff were very friendly, the room was also very quiet even being right on the main road. Will always stay here now when we are ever in London. Best value for money!

Ideal location for the night out at The Macbeth pub. Exceptionally clean and comfortable.

The sloped ceiling above the bed, made getting out of the bed interesting.

The room was cleaner than most hotels in London, which made me feel comfortable straight away. It was quiet and the bed new and in pristine conditions. The staff was super friendly and helpful as well! The location is great both in terms of public transport (mainly buses), restaurants, and grocery shops. I'll definitely come back.

Overall, this place is great value for money (I had a 20% genius discount). I could have done with a well-working minibar fridge, which was included in the list of amenities, and with a cleaner toilet (I had to clean it myself to be able to use it) but overall it wasn't a big deal considering London standards

Good location, a 30 min walk to London Liverpool Street or 5 min to Hoxton train station or a bus outside the hotel every 10 min to London bridge . Staff very friendly. Could leave luggage. Room very clean. Fridge extremely useful. Had hairdryer & iron, kettle, tv, air conditioning.

Was in a suite with double & a single bed thus the double was at the end under the slanted very low roof. Luckily I am small, easily can knock your head! Room very dated decor. Shower door didn't close properly. Lock on door was hard to turn. Bedside light so dim no point having and no soft light to turn on at night so it was super bright or dark.

The location is truly remarkable, and the staff goes above and beyond to create a friendly and inviting atmosphere. Knowing you have so many dining options right next door is comforting. The area has a charming vibe that feels like a little slice of Vietnam, with many Vietnamese eateries offering delicious meals that are sure to please. It’s great to see that everything is available at very reasonable prices, even with all these choices, making it a fantastic spot for fellow food lovers to enjoy without breaking the bank.

The property is quite old and may require some renovations or decorations soon. Additionally, since it is situated on a main street, some people might find it a bit noisy.

I needed a room in London that was inexpensive, clean, and secure. All of my expectations were exceeded with great staff. Often times, budget accommodations have some issues. There were none, here. Just great value, fairly close to a bunch of great restaurants and bars and close to public transportation. My room had air conditioning, which was great as there was a bit of a heat wave. My room was on the top floor and there was even a lift.

The location is north London, but still very easy to get to the central area. There are a lot of buses could be used. Liverpool street station is also close. The room was big, has all the necessities. There was a supermarket downstairs, which is super easy to get all the food. The price also reasonable, basically I am satisfied with the stay.

Some of the kitchen ware was too old. Also There is a washing machine, but no hanger available for the washed clothes. Hopefully this could be added.

The apartment block is in a very convenient location near to lots of excellent cafes and restaurants etc. I was originally at the front of the hotel and the road can be a bit noisy if you want to have your window open like I do (there is air-con) so you can shut the window, but the manager moved me to another room at the back which was very quiet and comfortable. The hotel is great value for money and had everything I needed.

At this price point there is not much that could have been better really to be honest.
