The property in my stay overall were exceptionally good. I had a great time. The staff was very welcoming. I stayed for my birthday and it was a great choice for me to make. I’d love to stay here again.

I stayed in a top floor suite for one night on new years with my husband and we loved it! Everything was spotless, staff was wonderful and the hotel was tastefully decorated. Our absolute favourite part was the steam shower in our room, it was to die for!! The double bed is huge and very comfy. It was too windy for us to take full advantage of the balcony, but it's big and really lovely, and would be so relaxing in summer.

The mini bar and snacks in the room were super expensive. I also wish the free tea and coffee station in the room had offered hot chocolate satchels too. We didn't try the breakfast as there was no menu available in our room or in the lobby, and after looking it up online the selection seemed quite limited and pricey.

Great stay. Friendly staff. We arrived early thinking we'd just be able to drop our bags, however our room was ready which was a lovely surprise. Our room was on the 6th floor. Lovely and quiet! Huge bed. Great size bathroom. Plenty of plugs and charge points. Even a wireless charger. Great supply of toiletries. Lovely steam shower...although water pressure was a bit meh. Really relaxing stay. Not slept that well in ages!

The room was lacking a decent full length mirror. There's one on the inside of the wardrobe door, but it's an obscured reflection so really hard to actually see yourself!

The property is beautifully designed with expensive furniture.

The cleanliness of the hotel and the room. The bed/bedding was comfortable and having sound proof walls helped us to have a good night's sleep. It was my husbands birthday and although we didn't get complimentary upgrade he did get balloons a card and a slice of cake! Thoughtful additions. Our room was also ready by lunch time so we were able to check in early. We didn't use the restaurant or bar service so I can't comment on these.

I thought the room was small considering we paid extra for a larger room. It wasn't spacious but was functional. The full length mirror in the wardrobe was tainted so it was hard to see myself in full.

Even though we stayed for 1 night, we were carefully and superbly cared for. Our room was upgraded by surprise and ready earlier as requested, a sweet birthday surprise piece of chocolate cake was placed in the room. The place is unique and charming, the room is ni less then outstanding including quality, details, features and most of all the bestest bathroom ever with a steam shower to die for 🧖‍♀️ 🧖. The team and all staff even at Marlin’s are very caring and delighted to assist you …as said even if it’s just for a night. I hope we return to Virgin ❤️ here and also different locations! Thank You

Super comfortable beds, great daily housekeeping that somehow never interrupted us and discreetly made up the room whenever we left the hotel. High-quality toiletries and luxurious experience - overall, great value for money. We really enjoyed our stay here and it was very centrally located.

Some staff experiences were a bit odd - our group of friends traveling together (4 people total, 2 people/room) also stayed at the Mondrian, and one night we had them over in our hotel room hanging out (total of 6 people, not a party by any means). We were being quiet and just watching TV/talking but after a visible smoke break where the front desk people saw us all hanging out together, management came up to our room and told us everyone had to go back to their own rooms (?) which was an odd request, felt a little like summer camp and being told it was bedtime instead of being functioning adults paying for a hotel room.

The service on Reception at check in was good, and also in the Conference/Private Dining Room. Bibo Restaurant was exceptionally good - service and food.

I had to ask for the water in my room to be replenished on the 2nd and 3rd night, and it was way too hot in the gym! The bathroom was a great size, and well appointed but the bedroom was a strange shape which meant that the bed took up most of the space and restricted movement around the room to an extent - not a major issue, but it was a niggle.

Lovely smart new hotel. Comfy room and steam shower… v on point. Bar lovely. Outdoor pool and large gym.

The breakfast service was pretty poor (run by a separate company to the hotel I believe). Sat for 30 mins without a glass of fruit juice or a pastry. The front of house need a lesson in how to manage guests and make them comfortable and letting them know if there will be a wait for cooked food. The staff were lovely but very young and needing some direction.

Room had a really nice aesthetic and was comfortable. Really enjoyed the heated floors in the bathroom. Check in was smooth and it was walking distance to some Shoreditch nightlife / dining, which was great.

Went to the rooftop restaurant. The food was okay, nothing amazing, but convenient to have a couple of dining options in the space. Wish there was a tube station close by to make it easier to get around to other parts of the city
