An absolutely charming hotel with a variety of characterful rooms beautifully furnished with antiques and pretty linens. Bathroom very well appointed with luxurious-feeling shower and tub. Lovely to have coffee and the fridge in the room. We also appreciated how welcoming the common spaces downstairs were -- nice to have several cozy spots to gather and plan or chat or read. Location is perfect for exploring the center. Parking in the center is mildly annoying but not terribly expensive nearby, and the front desk helped us arrange everything and was extremely flexible about extending (and extending, and extending) on our final day. Generally, service was excellent -- prompt, accommodating, knowledgeable, and responsive. Seemed like a good value -- wished we could have stayed longer!

Can't think of anything. The elevator is quite small so large groups might need to take turns, or the stairs.

Perfect location. Beautiful room with high ceilings and very comfortable bed. We got the suite with sauna in the bathroom, which was amazing and clean. The service was excellent and directions to parking places was very easy to follow. Bathroom had a spa- like bath as well. Breakfast selection was good with hot items menu included. We had unloaded our items into the lobby and then went to park the car by the time we got back, they had moved all of our luggage and into our room without our asking. Staff is very efficient.

No parking at the hotel, but they were very clear about the direction to the parking spot and you can pay them instead of getting the app, which is a lot easier than other cities we visited in the Baltics.

Great and charming hotel at good location. Comfortable rooms and easy access by elevator to all floors. Beds are comfortable and room service works well. Quality of food is good and should find something for each taste. Good vine list.

Staff is very distant and non attentive. The drinking water is really a Muddy Waters case and only option is to by a small bottle 250 ml for € 3. Should have water machines at floor levels and complimentary water In room.Parking is on the streets and one must attend that you do not get fined. you do not get warned for this.

Everything! As I told Reception on my way out this morning after three absolutely delightful nights there, this was not a *five*-star hotel, but rather a *seven*-star one! As soon as we arrived, we were given a super-upgrade to a large room, lavishly decorated with drapes and period-piece furniture fit for royalty. I actually had to go back to Reception for confirmation that they had indeed assigned us to the right room! In addition, the breakfast buffet was outstanding on each of the three days of our stay. I can single out the croissants, apple strudel, cheesecake, variety of jams, and fruit salad as particularly excellent items. I reckon this hotel must have hired a pastry chef par excellence to achieve the level of culinary satisfaction that we experienced. Moreover, the staff at Reception were invariably friendly, courteous, cheerful and helpful. I would like to identify one of the staff in particular, Vanessa, who was always willing to go the extra mile to answer our questions about sites of interest. She even ventured out into the cold one day to point us in the right direction for the Botanical Gardens. If ever we visit Tartu again someday, I would choose the Hotel Antonius in a heartbeat. Kudos to the hotel staff for making this such a memorable three days!

The Antonius was a grand and exceptionally fine hotel. The rooms are large and beautifully decorated. There were two comfortable armchairs in which to relax. The bathroom was huge and had a walk-in shower as well as a clawfoot bathtub. The hotel is in the heart of the Old Town and our view was of the historic 17th-century university. The sites of Tartu were easily reached on foot from this ideally located hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful. We asked to change our room from a lower floor to a higher floor and were accommodated immediately. Breakfast was delicious and served in a charming medieval room with stone walls, arched ceiling and a large skylight. There was a sumptuous buffet with high-quality items, such as quiche, smoked salmon and sparkling wine, as well as great choices from the a la carte menu. We had an outstanding meal one evening at the Antonius Hotel. We were the only guests and our charming young waitress was kind, professional and knowledgeable. This hotel was superb value and we would recommend it 100% for people visiting Tartu.

One side of the hotel has an elevator, but the other side only has stairs (although the staircase is wide and gentle to climb), which may affect some people with accessibility issues. Also, some water runs out from underneath the shower curtain, but the bathroom was so large that it didn't affect our use of the toilet or sink. Otherwise, everything was perfect.

This is an extremely good hotel. The location is perfect in the old town, on a quiet street. Our room was exceptionally beautiful, as was the whole building. Everything was very clean and tidy. The beds were comfortable. The weather was very warm, but it was nice and cool inside the hotel. Breakfast was outstanding! Best breakfast we have ever eaten.

Very stylish boutique hotel for those who love antuque furniture and romantic armosphere.

More effort couod be invested in serving breakfast and preparing eg additionally charged fruit platters. These were straight down poor quality. The fruit platter looked like someone had been eating already and the fruits had veen gathered from other platters. Even with a few local fruits you can make a visually inviting platter if some artistic touch is applied. Should be no problem for a hotel of such level. Otherwise everything else was superb.

Very comfortable, charming hotel. The location is perfect for a visit to Tartu. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The dining room offered fine dining and we enjoyed two excellent meals there during our stay. We would definitely recommend this hotel to visitors to Tartu

A small point but the complimentary drinks selection in the room didn’t include a black coffee option, only coffee/ milk powder premixed sachets and reception were unable to provide

Breakfast had a free complimentary a la carte menu, which was awesome. Bathroom was very nice, bed was roomy and comfy. Location was excellent.

Door of the room lets all the sounds through very easily. My room was on the first floor, next to a hallway where people walk past at night, and I had to sleep with earplugs on because the door did nothing to stop the sounds. Regarding breakfast, some guests didn't understand the a la carte breakfast menu was free of charge and included, so for them the experience of the breakfast was lessened.

Very nice, stylish, clean. Perfect service regarding the request for ice into the room and discussion about possible extension of our trip for another night - unfortunately the whole hotel was sold out but all in all next time we will book for longer 😁 at first place.

Three severly drunk guests but staff tried to take care of them as smoothly as possible. To avoid this type of inconvenience - set higher prices.
