It has a hostel feel even though I stayed in two different apartments. There is a LOT of noise from the common area upstairs, and the beds are awful. I weigh only about 110lbs/50kgs and I sunk to the frame in the mattresses. The pillows were like trying to rest my head on nothing but air. There was no shampoo or soap...basic items usually included in an apartment stay. Everything is on the cheap side, which I expect from a hostel room; I did not expect the same cheapness when paying for a private apartment. The staff was great, and the location is very good. The apartments are ample in size. I would stay here again if I needed to be in Tartu. I just would know not to expect ANY amenities.

I really enjoyed staying at this hostel. Everything was incredibly comfortable and clean. The staff were very friendly, and the atmosphere was cozy and creative. I met and connected with people from different countries, which added a special charm. We had great conversations and shared useful travel tips and experiences. It truly felt like a home away from home. Comfortable beds, a fully equipped kitchen with free tea, fast free internet, and walking distance to the city center – everything was excellent.

Honestly, nothing comes to mind – everything was top-notch.

The hostel is very nice, cosy and colourful. I love the fact they separate waste so thoroughly:) I could check in even a bit earlier then it was written. Kitchen and bathroom were very clean. Location is peaceful and 15 or maybe 20 min away the city center. There is also a big shop close by.

1. I support sustainability and recycling with all my heart, but when teflon pans and pots are falling apart, they are not to be used anymore. 2. A truly delightful experience when some staff came into the dorm at 2am and was anything but quiet. Thanks guys, appreciate it.

Very nice vibe in the hostel! I just stayed for one night but everyone was friendly it was clean, the bed was already made and quite comfortable, nice terrasse, clean bathrooms. Would recommend if the price is a bit lower and if you stay for more than 1 night I think it would be easy to meet nice people!

I had the upper bed of a bunk bed and there was no night table to put your things next to the upper bed ( in my case a water bottle which was at risk of falling down the whole night). I was in the mixed sleeping room with 10+ people. It was quiet no question, everyone was respectful but I think the price of 34euros for one night is too high for these conditions.

The helpful volunteers of all nations. Concept was super sweet and it’s a very cozy place. Don’t know why they hate on the cat that comes visit (he’s banned from the hostel), but he seems awesome as well… No shoe policy was strange at first but we came to enjoy clean floors.

Apparently some people were not able to read the sign to clean their own dishes. Not the hostel’s fault but still, kitchen was a bit of a mess, though well equipped.

Cosy hostel on a sustainability mission - clear signage to support better recycling and energy-saving by guests and many examples of reuse. Lovely balcony. Flexible check-in which I did not think I would need but ended up needing! Location reasonable distance from the old town near the train station

The curtains in the room were very thin - if the sun wakes you up, prepare for early mornings in the summer.

Good location, clean. Private room with my own bathroom. Really loved the room, happy I found this place and if I come again to Tartu, hopefully will get a chance to stay there. The balcony seemed extra nice for a warmer night.

Smell of incense was very strong for me. It’s often in hostels and I don’t really mind that much. But i’m occasionally very sensitive to certain smells and needed to air it out a bit.

I stayed there with my family in a family room with a kitchenette and a private bathroom. This is a simple place, but cosy, clean and with all that's needed to spend a night and cook a breakfast. The nearest supermarket is like 5-10 minutes from the place.

I've taken 1 point off only because the place is probably too basic to score "exceptional", but so long that you accept what's in the images, there is not a single problem!

The terrace is quite nice. There were not that many people staying at the hostel at the time, so it was rather peaceful. It was not too far away from the city center by foot, and it's very close to TYPA.

The code for entering after 10 pm is changed often. This makes sense and I don't have any problem with that. But one day I was informed of the new code only because I happened to stay until lateish in the afternoon in the terrace. Had my plan been to leave early and return late at night that day, I wouldn't have known of the new code, which would have been quite bothersome.

It was a surprise that you need to go up to the 3rd floor with luggage, and there is no elevator. Thanks to the responsive administrator Katrina, who helped my mother lift the suitcase, and in the morning organized help with the descent. Thank you! The room was very nice, with nice furnishings and an authentic balcony! It was very helpful to have tea and coffee in the room. We will definitely come again!
