Lovely hotel in centre of city, just across from local bus station, easy to check in,and out, our room was great, big, airy, and nice views from windows. the hotel has its own sauna centre, which is free for all hotel guests in the morning only, the breakfast is served in hotel cafe, which is also open during the day/evening. The breakfast is both cold and hot food, and same for drinks as well. Only short walk away from shopping centres, local river, parks, lots of interesting things to see, and do in Tartu. The hotel has free wi fi, and good connection to internet,the supermarkets have lots of different foods, and other household items, you need to buy supermarket card for discounts on shopping, as prices are reduced during the day, and can save money on shopping, there are plenty of cafes, and restaurants, and bars that serve food and drink, also you can buy hot food in the supermarkets as well, which is good value for money.

The only problem we had was on our last day, and was told no pancakes at 09am, but, there was still big bowl of jam, was told they stopped serving pancakes, yet, each morning, there was lots of pancakes for breakfast.

I really appreciate that my need to check-in earlier was fulfilled, it was very helpful. Also I liked cleanness level in all premises, cafe stuff (people and service). All dishes in the cafe which I tried and breakfast were very good. Great that in the morning there is a possibility to visit sauna for free. I liked the room interior and all hotel design also, quite cozy.

For me the mattress on the bed didn`t fit, my sleep was not good on it. And would be helpful to have a kettle and cups in the room to have a possibility to prepare tea or coffee at own disposal.

Breakfast was good, parking was available and the location is excellent for visiting AHHA and aquapark.

We ordered a family room with 2 single beds but the room was not ready upon our arrival (possibly, given out to other guests as I can derive from the question - can anybody from your company be already checked in for you), and the mattress on the additional bed was too thin even for the 5 year old kid that we needed to put additionally blanket folded twice to make it a bit more comfortable for sleeping. The other thing was shower - I was quite surprised that the shower area was not separated from the rest of the bath room by any kind of barrier. And I didn't found a hairdryer in the room.

Great location and clean hotel. We really enjoyed the morning sauna and the fitness centre. Breakfast was tasty and partially changed offer during our stay, what we appreciated.

I would definitely recommend some training for the staff at your check-in desk. Instead of using sentence "May I offer you an early check-in for xxx EUR? the lady said - "Sorry I am not allowed to give you the room before 15:00"... that was so funny. The room was prepared, we were willing to pay a bit more for any more comfort, but we stayed sitting at the reception watching the watches...I think that giving the customers some minutes more at the room and provide them the keys earlier would be polite and nice..

Clean, cozy hotel. No more words. Fast check in, great staff. -10% for ahhaa centre if buy tickets on hotel reception. Grosseries in 200 meters. Excellent breakfast, quite caffe. Delicious pankcakes.

No kettle in the room. Toaster in caffe makes toastes too long time.

The receptionist kindly helped me get water from the kitchen in the reception area instead of forcing me to buy a water bottle. I truly appreciate that. I also appreciate how the cleaner helped with the trash and made everything tidy without rearranging my belongings. When I checked out early on Tuesday, December 3, the receptionist noticed that I wouldn’t be able to have breakfast and gave me a chocolate candy. I really appreciate that thoughtful gesture.

Large, clean, comfortable room, with excellent bed and shower. The location was ideal next to the bus station and only a short walk from the University and old town. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I was delighted to receive a free upgrade to a large double room on arrival. The breakfast menu was extensive, fresh and filling.

I wouldn't have changed anything about the hotel stay. Everything was even better than I was expecting. The hotel is highly recommended for anyone staying in Tartu for work or holidays. I didn't get a chance to try out the sauna but this seemed like another attractive hotel feature.

Hotel Tartu is a great hotel, right in the centre of Tartu, and has lovely staff, very helpful, and friendly. it has nice lovely rooms, a great sauna centre that is free for hotel guests in the morning, and has a great breakfast in the hotel cafe in the mornings, plus the cafe is open during the day as well.. the hotel is across from the bus station, and short walk to all shopping centres, and river, and local beach over the river. And having stayed here many times, it is a great hotel to stay in, and will stay here again!.

The hotel does not provide hot/cold drinks in rooms, but, a kettle can be loaned to guests.

Lovely hotel, and lovely staff, having stayed here before, its a great hotel just across from bus station in Tartu, it has its own sauna centre, that is free for hotel guests in the mornings, but, need to pay for evening, after 5pm tp 10 pm. the hotel has a great cafe that does the breakfast in the morning, and also does lovely food throughout the day, with hot/cold drinks as well. the room we stayed in was big, with nice view outside, lovely big bed, lovely bathroom, and even mini fridge in room. when guests use sauna centre they must have towels, flip flops, and swimmimg shorts for mem, and swimming costume/bikini for women., there are three saunas there of different levels of heat, and a steam room., its a lovely place with great views over Tartu city.
