We made a spontaneous trip to Windsor because we wanted to drive the entire length of HWY 401! We were thankful to find accommodation at this hotel especially since it was a very busy weekend with many sport events and activities. Upon our arrival, Ryley was on the phone with a customer who did not sound very happy. But Ryley was super professional, polite and accommodating to whoever was on the other line. Once she hung up, she was very apologetic to us for making us wait! No need. We were just happy to have found a hotel! She gave us two water bottles and set us up in Room 221. She was super sweet during the entire interaction. The room was very clean with a renovated walk-in shower. We fell asleep right away. When we woke up, we noticed a lot of noise coming from the hallways. Kids were playing. We sent a message to Ryley via the text line, and she had her colleague Jerry speak to the children and then moved us to Room 521. Instead of a walk-in shower, we had a tub in this room (not that we minded). Both rooms had a desk, two beds, a mini fridge, AC, and dark curtains to hide away the sun! We also enjoyed the unlimited coffee (I had so many!), the breakfast offerings, and how close the hotel was to different restaurants. Overall, Ryley and her colleagues: Jerry and one other gentleman were the highlight of our stay! They are gems! They worked tirelessly to ensure that EVERYONE had a good time. This is key! Adults were invited to the lobby to socialize, kids were asked to play in the lobby and pool area, and those that were in their rooms were able to enjoy their evenings at peace! Thank you so so so much!

-While waiting to check-in, we noticed that the lobby was kind of hot - we did arrive during a heatwave but wondered if more fans can be installed for the comfort of staff and clients. -Although there were 4 pillows on each bed (plenty to choose from), we noticed they weren’t the comfiest for our liking! The pillows were fluffy and we prefer ours to be firmer. -Not a dislike, but we wished they had cookies!!! Not their fault. We were just craving some but as Ryley explained this hotel offered breakfast which we throughly enjoyed!

The breakfast was exceptional, very relaxing and a pleasant surprise in comparison to other hotels we have stayed in at the same price-point. The pool area was also warm, inviting, and i was sad i did not discover it the evening we arrived… I thought we would come back just to have a little mini vacation instead of traveling through as we did this time.

The room was clean, modern, but lacked a little cosy ness. It has always been my disappointment that hotels do not have 2 cozy chairs to sit in, in the room, to have a nightcap before bed!

The room was clean and spacious. We loved the spacious shower with non-slip floor. The king-sized bed was comfortable and we slept well. The hallways were quiet. It was nice to be able to go downstairs for breakfast. There were several selections including hot items like pancakes and waffles, eggs, sausages and bacon/ham and toast, bagels, cereal, yogurt and fruit. Plenty to choose from and some different selections each day.

The tables and furniture in the breakfast area need a good cleaning. Like maybe shampoo or replace some of the chairs. It's a high traffic area so needs some attention in that regard. Not appetizing to see dirty chair fabric.

The location is excellent! We stayed 2 separate nights. We wanted to stop in Windsor to rest before we went to Toronto and we stopped in Windsor on the way home from Toronto. We checked in at midnight on both stays. The front staff was so friendly even at that hour! They greeted me kindly which was so nice as I was tired from the trip. The breakfast that was included was very nice! There was such a large variety of food. I had 4 adults and 4 children on the trip and everyone could find something to eat. The breakfast staff was so kind as well! We will be returning to Hampton Inn again and again!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thank you for making customer service a priority!

The staff were very good. The room was comfortable. The pool was appreciated. Handicapped parking was well placed. Breakfast was great.

The lobby and breakfast area were not air conditioned so it was hot when we were eating breakfast. We felt sorry for the staff having to work in the heat. A ramp at the door with handicapped parking would have been useful for my friend's walker and our rolling suitcases.

I loved the continental breakfast. Furthermore, when I checked in around 10pm, the young man that assisted me at the front desk was so courteous, professional, and very kind. He had fantastic customer service, and I was amazed. The hotel building was a little older you could tell, but the pros outweighed the cons.

The room was very clean, location was great for our needs, loved having access to coffee all day, overall the breakfast was good-the toasters could be better, and I would make the coffee area accessible on all sides for the morning as lining up to get coffee/tea took a bit of time. Also, having someone available to wipe down the tables in between use would be great as well. Overall thought, everything was great.

The staff were friendly, the pool and hot tub were very nice and relaxing, the bed and bedding were very comfortable.

The only thing was it was loud. The room doors were very loud always sounded like they were slamming but there wasn’t anything you could do to keep them from doing that, the road side of the building the traffic is loud, can easily hear it especially the big trucks.

It was very close to shops and many restaurants. The staff was professional, courteous and welcoming. The staff answered questions and attended to room requests quickly. The hot breakfast was a treat. The entire hotel as well as our room was very clean.

There wasn't much that we didn't like. It was a very hot day, so all of the air conditioners were always on full blast. Nice, but the entire hotel was freezing! Not really a complaint, but a personal preference I guess.

The bathroom floor was dirty. Hair in shower! Parking lot was a bit rough- outside garbage needed emptying- stunk and overgrown bushes .
