We appreciate the dedicated staff who were always there to help us with our stay. The room was large with great views over the river to Detroit.

The fact that next door the people were rightly on strike. Ok they were noisy at times with the music and constant car horns beeping in support. The greedy owner has filled next door with illegal ungrateful immigrants. And abusing staff by under paying them. Locals who can’t live off the pathetic wages and want to work.

The location, central location. The room was clean & large. By the Detroit river. The staff was helpful and nice. The restaurant on site was nice. I learn that there's a bus station behind the building and It offers bus services for shuttle services to United States or to Canada. They do have a mini store & a micro wave for your use.

The cost for breakfast $45 for 2 people, that adds up quickly. You have to pay daily for parking. Sorry, for the prices of the rooms breakfast should be free. For a family that will add up.

Its location and view of the city was breathtaking. It was close, to everything I wanted to see and do. I started out visiting family in Detroit, and would used the Detroit-Windsor Tunnel to get back and forth. Afterwards, I would go site seeing at night. The staff was friendly and helpful.

There was no bidet. Or valet services, to park the vehicle. And the parking garage was a block away. And no room service.

had a king suite with River View. it was very roomy and had everything we needed. staff were wonderful and always friendly and eager to help. whole hotel was clean and modern. Will definitely be recommending and returning, it was a fantastic experience from start to finish.

couldn't fault the doubletree. spent 4 nights there. now staying at ceasars casino for 6 nights. this place is old and dated with moody staff and a rip off vibe.

Both the check-in and check-out processes went smoothly. The room as as expected, clean and tidy. All the staff we interacted with were exceptionally helpful and kind. When we checked in the front desk representative offered us warm cookies, which was a very nice touch!

They have a parking garage connected to the hotel via a walkway, but they don't tell you in advance on the website that you can't access the hotel through the walkway if you do not have a hotel keycard. If you are arriving via car, and expecting to use the parking garage during your stay, be aware that you will need to walk outside and enter the hotel through the front doors to check-in, but once you have a hotel keycard you can enter/exit through the connected walkway to access the parking garage.

I had to come for an important personal meeting and brought my dog. We splurged on a fancy room and it was great! Being able to have a suite made traveling with him so much easier and the room was not at all expensive considering how bit and nice it was. I just work we arrived a bit earlier in the day so that we could have spent more time enjoying it!

The parking situation is strange, you have to go to a garage behind the hotel and then walk across a bridge to get back into the building on the second or third floor, past a bunch classrooms. It could be better marked!

Breakfast was good.

The breakfast voucher. I paid for bed and breakfast. So I don't then expect to have to remember to hand in a breakfast voucher. I was charged twice for breakfast even though I had paid on booking the hotel. The reception staff refunded the two charges but I think you need to drop that voucher system. If people pay for bed and breakfast it should be provided without also having to hand in a voucher.

The hotel's location provides a fantastic view of the river and the city of Detroit. We requested a window table in the restaurant which provided us with the panoramic view. Due to a problem with the room we had originally booked, we were upgraded to a one-bedroom suite and afforded an additional discount in the dining room; what great customer service; 'Thanks'.

Beautiful and relaxing breakfast hall Good variety for breakfast at an affordable price. Self service laundry facility was available I could jog by the river front. It felt safe and vibrant. Great location!

The laundry room on my floor was broken and not fixed throughout my stay.

Great location. Our view of Detroit across the river was one of our favorite hotel views ever. Easy to get to, easy access to riverfront. Staff were top notch. I asked for restaurant recommendations and received many excellent suggestions. When i advised staff we were travelling from Australia and this would be a one of experience for us, they ensure we had one of their best views
