Like having an access code to get in and in your room same number. The location is amazing AMAZING view.

The blinds were see through so when going to sleep in the living room if I can slightly see out that means others in the surrounding hotel can see in. So we didn’t have alot of lights on when it was night. Having it be so bright in the morning when we still trying to sleep was annoying. They should change how the living room blinds are. Also the bedroom the wall didn’t go all the way up that was very weird. We noticed when we looked up towards ceiling that there’s no wall all the way to the ceiling lol hard to describe but you can have your bedroom door closed and throw sumthin over from the hallway and it’ll land in the room. If that makes sense. From the top of door to ceiling they did not complete the wall to separate your room from hallway. Very weird.

Lovely apartment which had everything, even a washer and dryer. Really nice. Bathroom was great, clean with all bathroom needs. Kitchen was amazing. I loved it. Very close to everything in the city.

My room was right next to the noisy elevator. Didn't notice until bedtime. It rattled like a roller coaster. There was lots of noise from people on my floor. Sounded like a party. Loud music. Very unacceptable. However after 11pm there was no noise. In the morning, housekeeping employees talked so loudly to each other when they're working. They should lower their voices. Outside the Sonder it was a bit scary. Lots of people hanging about outside smoking weed. But once I was inside I felt completely safe. The code on the door and my room worked really well.

oh my gosh, our little apt/room was freaking fantastic! I had read a few reviews and was a little worried but this was nothing less than amazing. Smack dab in the center of town, the entrance is kinda hard to find, doesn't stand stand out but we had 2 people at the desk who sweet/helpful as could be and our room? omg it was amazing. Lots of outdoor parking around the hotel. easy walk and 30 bucks for the night, plus we could go out and in of that lot. The room was SUPER clean, comfortable and the view! hOLY CRAP!!!!! Seriously this little overnight was NOT long enough, wish we could've stayed another night. ALso the comforters and bed were awesome. We will def stay here again!

hmmmm we were really happy with everything actually. I honestly can't think of anything. Wish I could open a window but I know that's not possible. We loved it all.

Location was brilliant. Great view from room. The bed was extremely comfortable as were the pillows. Very clean and everything provided that you could wish for. The people on the front desk were very nice, one maybe not so friendly but certainly not rude.

The last couple of times using the key pad to get into my room it took a few attempts whereas the first couple of days it was on first attempt. The last time it took at least 6 attempts and i was getting worried that I may not be able to get in as I had not downloaded the app. After that I didn’t go out again just in case… The hot water did not seem to work in the shower as the mixer tap seemed to be stuck. It would be nice to have tv channels but i probably understand why there isn’t.

The location was ideal for my requirements although a little distant from shops and restaurants for walking, but not a big issue. Room was fine with plenty of space and facilities, bed was comfy and everything was clean.

The communal areas are in need of renovation, lift cars are very "tired" and facilities in reception are basic. Vending wasn't working, and the girls party next door was loud, but then again I didn't complain, so not really a "hotel issue" in fairness. The complimentary coffees/sugar/creamers were not replenished and bins not cleared during the 3 days I was there.

Location was excellent - easy to get everywhere AND across the road from the airport express bus stop. A really easy (& cheap!) way to get in and out of downtown. Really spacious room and good kitchen facilities. Made it very easy to eat in sometimes but bear in mind, it's a bit of a trek to get groceries.

One of the lifts was out of service for a couple days but that's to be expected sometimes in an old building.

Beautiful room, but no breakfast was included and for the price it would have been nice. The view was stunning and we were comfortable for the most part.

Parking was not included and not noted when I booked the reservation, I found out on the app days before we arrived and ended up having to pay an additional $90 for parking in a "Hotel Parking" lot a block and a half away.

Location close to Comerica Park and just across the street from the DAX bus stop with the airport bus Big and comfortable room for a Studio Very easy check in as always with Sonder Great value for money given its downtown location

Windows are not fully closed (Properly inserted), there is a gap on the side of a couple of the windows giving a little extra noise from the street and had it been warmer some heat in, I assume Not the best bed frames, noisy with just a little movement

Location was great. Easy walk to Comerica Park and Ford Field. Easy access with door code. Room was clean and comfortable. Additional amenities like record player and kitchenette were great. Nice decor. Friendly staff. My wife really liked the bath products.

We were on the 9th floor and one of the two elevators was under repair for some of our stay. This made for either a long hike up the stairs or a long wait for the elevator. Also, ordered pizza delivery at night, which was delivered and left at my door, but I was in the shower, and it was stolen by the time I went to the door to get it.

The whole transaction from booking to checking out was seamless. The room and facility was clean, comfortable, and spacious. I will definitely be using this place again and recommend it to others! Walking distance to everything major happening in downtown Detroit. Plenty of paid parking nearby. Awesome amenities for the price!

My only complaint would be the paid parking. Although there is a secured lot right across the street, it was $30 (but included in/out privileges). That being said, most of the hotel locations in downtown Detroit are moving towards paid parking.
