I did like that it was a like a furnished studio apartment. I was traveling on a budget, so it's nice to have a full kitchen to make a few meals in. The lighting in the bathroom was really good. It probably made me delusional about how youthful I looked!

I've noticed a lot of people complain about noise when they stay at hotels, etc. This is located in downtown Detroit, so there is street noise. That was not a problem for me at all. To me it's part of visiting a busy city, but if someone needs complete silence to sleep, they should be aware of this.

Wonderful kitchen set up with exactly what we needed for our stay.But if you want to bake, bring your own bowls, cookie sheets , mixer etc. Loved the washer and dryer. Had a great looking dishwasher and stove/range, but didn't use them for this stay. Beautiful bathroom.But no grab/safety bars. Adequate waste containers, and supplies for kitchen use and clean up.

Cold ❄️, bring your slippers. Furnace did work , but those floors, ice ❄️🥶. Well worn runner in hallway, was only floor covering. Did have 12" of carpet around bed frame. A pull out sofa in the living room, comfy, but no comfy chair. Two dining chairs at small table, screw fell out of one from previous use. No cable or DVD use available, ROKU only, so remember your logins and passwords.

Everything was amazing, the view was incredible, it was super quiet, the water pressure was brilliant, it was right next to everything we had planned to do, the security was great, no issues getting in, was perfect.

The rug on the floor was awful. Do NOT put any clothes down on it. It sheds fibres as though someone has just shaved their head all over the floor, and they got in all our clothes and was horrendously uncomfortable! Probably our fault for chucking clothes on the floor, but still! Literally my ONLY complaint though, everything else was absolutely perfect.

The location is great, very close to the places we like to visit. The area is walkable and has a pretty steady police presence makes it a safe option for us. We like the convenience of having two seperate bedrooms and a liveable space that offers more than a traditional hotel room would. Having glassware and utensils were a huge plus, too.

The livingroom could use some work. The rug was very tattered and coming apart on all sides. That’s an inexpensive replacement issue that would instantly make a difference. The mattress on the fold out couch is actually awful. I wasn’t expecting much, but I could not lay on it folded out. I put all the cushions back on the couch and slept on it that way. I did see a few earwigs - not a massive problem, we’re in MIchigan we know bugs co-exist, but there were enough that I would spray or pay attention to it. The TV remote would not work, which was an annoyance, so maybe a battery check more often, if that’s the problem? We were on the 8th floor and the shades did not pull all the way down, which made for a very early, bright morning for me since I couldn’t block out any of the sun.

Loves the extra space and amenities the apartment setting provided (washer/dryer, full sized fridge and dishwasher). Great space for our family of four. Although we saw other guests, we never heard them. The location was great too…walking distance to so many great spots. Excellent price!

No onsite parking (would be great if Sonder could partner with the lot next door). Although everyone was respectful, there were several panhandlers present near the entrance and on the neighboring streets. Would love to see a tv in the bedroom, storage containers in the shower for personal items, and some sort of charging station for electronic devices.

The location couldn't be any better if you are doing business or leisure in the Downtown core. Comerica Park was an easy 15 minute stroll up the road. There is a great breakfast diner right beside this place, along with a 7-11 attached to the building. How much more convenient can that be ? Parking garages on every corner pretty much, but its expensive at $25 usd per day. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone, and myself when I come back to the Motor City !

I found the bed to be not as comfortable as I would have liked. Not that the bed was old, or small, just it is a mattress in a box on a platform frame. Its great if you like those types of beds although I like the traditional mattress on box style.

The Apartment was in an upcoming neighborhood. You can park your car and walk to so many places to eat and drink. The Hockey arena and Baseball stadium are also very close. The Apartment is modern, very clean with upgraded appliances, even a washer and dryer which was great feature.

I contacted Sonder regarding a few needs. Initially, since we were staying for 3 nights, there was only enough coffee for one night stay. I got no response to my requrest. Not a huge deal, we went out for breakfast every morning. Again, we ran out of TOILET PAPER and there was NO SPARE ROLL. Reached out to Sonder again and was told they would take care of the reequest within 12 hours. Good thing there is a store below the apartment. Not pleased with the responsiveness but loved the apartment overall and would definitely stay again.

It was cleaner than most other hotels/places I’ve stayed at, and the toiletries were good. I like that there was coffee and tea that I could have as well. Bed sheets were super clean.

Then construction made it hard to find/get to but that’s not really something you can control. Also the late checkout was kind of expensive, 11am default feels early and paying $50 to stay until 2pm felt unfair.

Very lovely stay! The space was well-decorated and very clean. Lots of space for my friends and me, and very well located downtown. I loved that the sheets in the closet were labeled as being clean and there were lots of extra towels, and product dispensers in the shower. Large and spacious entryway as well.

The deadbolt on the front door didn't work, it was able to be pushed in from the outside. It was a bit difficult to figure our which Roku the TV was connected to since it wasn't listed, but once we clicked through a few we figured it out and were able too cast from our devices to the TV.

Very clean, brand new facility. Included a kitchen and, unusually, a washer/dryer.

No staff or public areas at all except virtually. TV seemed to want Roku making it unusable for me. Bring your own hardware device. Also our room seemed to be for handicap use. Very small shower with inadequate curtain causing the shower to leak.
