Loved the location: close to the riverfront and it’s walking/running paths, adjacent and close to pubs and eating places, easy access to highways and city roads, close to the university. The room was modern with a large closet and a large private bathroom. Customer service was excellent and very accommodating. Would definitely stay here again!

The foyer and stairway leading to the rooms need to be made more welcoming. As this is a “heritage” type building and a boutique hotel, I would have expected framed photos articles reflecting the property’s and district’s history plus a subtle but prominent sign signifying this is the Sandwich Boutique Hotel.

Renovated building was quaint and cozy, interesting. There are many places within walking distance to enjoy.

Struggled to get thermostat to go cool enough. I think air conditioning was off for the season but even just having the fan running would have been good, but heat was only option (November). Neighborhood isn't phenomenal but it is adequate.

Location was perfect for me after going to The Barrel House and Dominion House for trivia night, the hotel is straight across the street. Also quick and easy to get back to the States. Lovely hotel!

Heritage, atmospheric building. Comfortable and spacious rooms. Shared kitchen space. Near U of Windsor, so perfect location of faculty. This boutique hotel suited my needs perfectly as it offers the coziness/hospitality of an Airbnb and the independence of a hotel.

I liked everything but for those booking, keep in mind this is not a hotel with 24 hour front desk, gym, concierge. There are only three room and a suites, so are likely to get booked during high season.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The newly renovated bathroom and comfortable bed made my trip memorable. The owners were kind, helpful, and went above and beyond, making sure my stay was the best. I highly recommend Sandwich Boutique.

Nothing. I liked the entire experience.

I loved the very thick old oak staircase and the very neutral professionally renovated interior. It was obviously well insulated and very quiet. It was nice having a kitchen area with a microwave and full sized fridge that allowed me to store some perishable food during my stay. There were restaurants, a pharmacy and a dollar store surrounding this lovely boutique hotel.

Great location for our purposes. Walking distance to places to eat- recommend the Barrel House (pub) right across the road. Nice restoration of a historical building. Liked having use of shared lounge space and fridge.

Not sure about how sound proof the room is as we were the only ones there and there are gaps around the door that allow light and sound. Shower head couldn’t be adjusted.

Very, very clean. Convenient. Several restaurants close by. Great mattress. Quiet area.

You do have to climb stairs but it was ok. Worried in case of fire that I can’t open windows. Suppose you could break them. All conveniences for morning coffee and food storage.

Location is perfect! Easy walk to so much to do. Eat at Rock Bottom. Sandwich Brewery is right there too. The owner is so nice and responsive.

Stairs, it's a tall flight of stairs to get up. Just expect that. Bed is nice but not the most comfortable.
