This hotel was amazing. I stayed for 16 days so I feel I have a good perspective on this hotel. The location is second to none. It's an extremely short walk from exit 5 of myeondong station and the 6015 airport bus. It's in the heart of myeondong without the noise. The rooms are amazing. For a solo traveller you can't ask for more. The shower was wonderful having two shower heads water pressure was great. The cleaners are fantastic. Danny the manager really helped me out when leaving. The bar staff were wonderful. The rooms come with great shampoo conditioner Body wash and hand gel wash They like all hotels provide a Vidal Sassoon hair dryer. They have two coffee machines on level 4 which can be accessed 24 hours a day. I spent a few nights a the hotel bar it was really welcoming.. At night they close the front entrance at 10pm and this is posted on the doors. The cleaners would leave mini Toblerone each day and I ate them all. There is a convenience store downstairs. The rooms are voice controlled by a hey genie device you can set your language to English if required . They provide you with a card on what to give Taxi driver in English and Korean. I could order two bottles of water via the hey genie concierge. There is a laundry with four washers and dryers. I met a lot of great people at this hotel and the hotel bar. You can control lights temperature of room set alarm order new linens and toilet rolls which I did once via the hey genie menu system. I could access my. Prime and Netflix,via the large Samsung TV which is not something you can do at all hotels. WiFi was excellent.. There is a very small fridge on the wall it is the black box - I had no clue what this was when I first got there. View from my room was awesome.. Many power outlets space in your room for your belongings. ALSO.. COMES WITH a water purifier which is invaluable as well. I drink 3 litres of water a day so this came in handy.

Hey genie had to understand my accent which it did by the end of the stay. But at the start I had to say single words and then I feel we formed a great relationship I had never used a Samsung TV before so had to google how to change channel and turn up down volume! Small fridge and wasnt totally sure it was a fridge to start with. Can get warm at night if you turn off air conditioning. Not.andidlike but a good to know. There was a nightshade and some electrical outlets underneath you would forget all up I hit my head three times on this. The

This is my second stay in this hotel. Among many others I've stayed in Seoul, this is the only one I would be happy to be back. The staff is kind and friendly. Overall, all rooms are modern and clean. I really love the bathrooms as they provide you with all you need, and the water temperature and head are great. They have a smart toilet, which is always appreciated in November :) The only downside is you cannot open windows for air circulation. The room is a bit small but bigger than other hotels in the same area for the same price. The Wi-Fi is excellent. I worked in the evening and had many calls with video, and the connection was perfect. The hotel's location is ideal for those who want to reach all popular and cultural places by foot. The area is full of cafes, restaurants, street food, and shops. However, the number of people around the hood may be overwhelming.

Some walls can be repainted. There is little room to put your stuff away, and because of that, the room is always a mess.

The service was impeccable. From Jina and sending me a picture of the entrance to Lia sending me a map how to get to the hotel (because Google Street View of Korea is outdated) to Damon giving me an extended 2 hour late check out (later extended even further to three hours though I forgot the female front desk attendants name), my family could not be happier with the hotel! Lobby was so cool with video games and pseudo fireplace, convenience store in the building, best forex changer 30 seconds away and Myeongdong shopping 10 seconds away! I mean, it even has a rappelling system built into the room for emergencies! We've been to Korea before but this was the best time we've had (10 days)!

It's a bit cramped for Westerners but by Asian hotel standards (Japan, Hongkong) it's the norm. If you have two XL luggages, a stroller and two carry on trolleys then good luck. But one large luggage and 1-2 small trolleys is very manageable. The fridge is small but very doable if you have Tetris skills since it's fashioned in a way that it's more tall than deep (see picture). Very minor things.

Location- central to everything in Myeongdong and to subway. Easy to grab a cab from hotel too. Staff- all incredibly friendly and helpful! Appreciate all of you! Room- spacious enough to fit 3 suitcases (could have fit 1 more I think), very clean, love the decor!! Bathroom was beautiful- enough counter space, and shower was great! Hotel food- very good, delicious. Breakfast buffet was worth it, lots of variety every morning. We also had dinner- food was good, but wish there was a few more options to choose from. Eating space is fun, again, decor is vibrant and trendy. Really fun. The hotel arranged transportation for us to and from airport- excellent service. Thank you! Overall, we highly recommend Moxy Hotel Myeongdong and plan to stay here when we go back to visit.

The washer and dryer self-service- timing could be done differently. People come and go when they can, their laundry sits in washer until the owners come back to move to dryer. It was hard to find washer to start your laundry. But, it was easy to use, just timing was hard. Hotel was fixing two dryers during our stay, so that slowed laundry down. We also used the laundry service since we didn't have time to use self-service laundry again (given constraints). Laundry service was great, but pricier. It was worth it for us though. Thank you!

Loved everything about it - great hotel, loved the room. I traveled with my grandparent and we had two separate beds and it was just right. It was a tad small but it's totally fine. It was very clean, great staff who helped us get taxis whenever we needed it. Loved it and I'd def stay here again if I'm in the Myeongdong area. Close to all the food stands (5 min walk) in Myeongdong and it's an 8 min. walk from the Myeogndong train station.

I think the elevator experience could be better and more efficient - to get to our room, we had to take an escalator going to the parking/receiving area and then an elevator going to the lobby and then another elevator to get to our room. It takes awhile just to get to our room.

Really nice place to stay in Seoul. Close to the city center and the best Korean bbq. The room was very small, but cozy. The bathroom was gorgeous, with a large shower and toilet with heated seats. It was a smart room, so you could ask with your voice to turn on the lights, music, TV, it was fun.

On the chairs that were hanging on the wall we found someone else's hair, it was unpleasant. There is no closet for clothes, only hooks.

Moxy has an incredible team from housekeeping to the concierge to check in. Everyone is helpful and professional and contributes greatly to the relaxing atmosphere. Everyone works together to make sure your stay is an amazing one. I had people ask how I was feeling as i was a little ill with a cough. They would check to see if I was taking care of myself and each day greet me with a smile and conversation, which, along with my morning coffee, set me up for a brilliant day. I would highly recommend Moxy to anyone and hope to come back again someday. Also want to mention Moxy is central to so many stores as well as public transport which made sightseeing a breeze. I cannot find any fault in my experience.

I wanted a hotel for one night post my conference & hence Moxy was Ideal Location in Myeongdong area...walking distance to major dept stores & the markets - namdaemun & myeongdong! Its a young hip hotel which shares its location with Le Meridien Hotel. The rooms were classic, functional & minimalist & it was good for 1 night stay. The staff at teh reception were super friendly & they even had a welcome drink voucher for the bar. Free coffee 24/7 at the reception helped. The young vibe led me to believe that this might be popular with young tourists. The conceirge team were prompt & efficient too.

I had a slight issue with my sink / wash basin. The beds have giant pillows as headrest - i didnt like the same. But these in no way were a dampner on my stay - i would stay again.

Perfect location proximity to local attractions or within walking distance. Close to subway, airport bus, shopping, eateries, Myeongdong street food, etc. Staff were excellent and understood or spoke english. Very clean and well maintained. Shared elevator with Le Meridian no problem. Hotel breakfast was perfect. Concierges on site were very helpful. Room was descent size, modern, clean, and comfortable. Close to our tour pick up and drop off location. We would stay here again when visiting Seoul, Korea

It was my first time booking Moxy Hotel Myeongdong and I loved this hotel! Thank you also to the wonderful hotel staff! Honestly the hotel exceeded my expectations! Good Location -It is in myeongdong but in the quiet area. Walking distance to the myeongdong shopping street, shinsagae mall duty free, there was a money changer beside the hotel building with good rates, convenience store on the ground floor, bus and train stop was walking distance. Lots of shops and restaurants open late at night. Nice Staff - I arrived at the hotel late at night and upon entering the place i was greeted with a smile, the women staff at the check in counter speaks english and was very helpful. Also noticed that the staff were mostly young except for the cleaning lady. - they replied fast online when i asked them directions on how to commute going to the hotel. -Clean comfortable Rooms The room was cleaned everyday and the cleaning lady would always leave a toblerone chocolate on our bed. Room slippers,Towel shampoo,conditioner were provided. There was a day I thought that we missed the cleaning time because we left the room late but upon coming back at night our room was cleaned which is nice. Bathroom is modern and was cleaned everyday. The room has its own kettle, wifi, Tv, water dispenser, wall fridge. Also liked there was a lot of wall hooks on the room very useful. Food -The steak on the bar restaurant was really delicious and reasonably priced, we ordered it for 2 nights. -free welcome drink token for guests which you can claim anytime. Other things i liked: -loved that the hotel let their guest borrow umbrellas on the ground floor when it rained. There is a digital luggage scale near the lobby elevator. Loved the big and clean womens restroom at the ground floor located nearby the hotel entrance. Good hotel ambiance very classy,smells really good! Beautiful bar lobby.

Not a big deal but needs improvement: -small refrigerator on the wall nearby the bathroom, akward placement, far from the bedside table and it was small. -I just wished they made the room a little bit bigger because if you have a big luggage you cannot open it on the floor, but there is a foldable chair and table provided that you can use. -bar menu had few food options, mostly western food. -i dont know why but my flat parallel charger plug kept falling on the bedside table plug so the whole stay i just used the usb cable to charge my phone directly on the usb plug wall. I wished there were more electric plug on the room. But my other charger with the rounded pin plug did not fall out on the wall.
