Fantastic hotel in a great central location. Hotel staff were amazing and kindly gave us a free upgrade since we're on our honeymoon. Highly recommended as a base for exploring Seoul.

Pillows were very hard albeit this is a matter of personal preference.

Location was excellent, just a few steps from the bus stop, and a hundred meters away from Myeongdong Walking Street. The rooms were small but modern and clean. The staff were welcoming. Thank you to Lee Jordan (front desk), Sharon and River (Nook restaurant) for being very accommodating and warm and helpful.

The motion-sensitive light in the walk in closet of the Breezy Suite was extremely annoying. It was not sensitive at all so it kept turning off while we were fixing our things. Just install a regular light bulb there please.

The hotel is excellent in terms of cleanness, privacy, location and very friendly and cooperative staff.

We stayed in rooms 1709 and 1710, twin bedrooms. The room size, as stated on the Website of the hotel, is 22 square meter, but the actual size is about 3.4X3.9=13.3 square meter. However, if the size of the bathroom, wardrobe and corridor is considered, then the total size becomes 22 square meter. This means that, the description (as appears on the website) is not real. The room size is suitable for one bed only, not two beds.

Exceptionally clean, incredibly well located about 5 min from Myeongdong, plenty of restaurant, street food and market. Service personalised and welcoming from Aloft team.

WXYZ bar is a little lacklustre, lacks environment that is a cool and trendy bar. However service and quality of drinks was excellent but only stayed for one round.

Thank you for a wonderful stay at the hotel. I want to highlight several aspects that made the stay particularly pleasant: Everyone provided efficient and friendly service, from the reception staff to the housekeeping team. Additionally, the room amenities were of high quality, and we enjoyed the quiet atmosphere. We loved the tea selection and toiletries in the bathroom. Great location in Myeongdong. Finally, we made an unusual request to store our luggage while we took a short trip to another destination in Korea, and the staff graciously agreed. All these factors made the stay successful, and I will certainly recommend your hotel to my friends and family.

This place is so close to the action but far enough not to be too close for disruption. Myeongdong's street food is really good and impossible to taste exhaustively in one night. Don't bother packaging in breakfast. There are so many options within 2 minutes walk of this hotel including a multi Michelin accredited cafe. Subway exits and buss stops are also within 2 min walk if you want to check out other touristy spots in Seoul. Starbucks and 7-eleven are just a few doors from Aloft's main entrance. We have stayed at many Aloft chain hotels around the world and this one did not disappoint. I'm going to miss the remote control toilet seat!

What's not to like?

Perfect location in Myeongdong, all shops and the street food market closely accessible. Really comfortable and clean room, modern hotel.

For the price I would have wished for a bit more service. There are no room service options, no mini bar and when I asked if they could organize something for my boyfriends birthday there was nothing they could offer, not even for sale so I expected a bit more service in a 4 star hotel.

Everything was clean in rooms and throughout hotel. Liked that popcorn in bags was provided mid-day. Staff was polite and professional. Breakfast buffet was very good. Loved the shower gel in the shower.

Room service menu is too limited, and items ordered from room service were mediocre to not good. The breakfast was cleared far too quickly. Even if the closing time is 10:00am, it is normal to allow at least 15 more min and not make people feel rushed. The way the staff comes and immediately clears everything out right at 10:00 is ridiculous. Room was very small/tight, but still nice.
