The location of the hotel is excellent. It is just a short walk to Myeongdong Shopping Street. While it is just a stone's throw away from Myeongdong station, it is tucked in a corner that gave us some privacy. It is very quiet. The hotel is not big, which was perfect for us as we didn't have to share the lift and lobby with many other guests unlike other hotels in the vicinity. It was also easy for taxi pick up or drop off when we used the Kakao App.

The room which we had was just nice to fit 2 single beds and 1 double bed with not much space left. The toilet was surprisingly spacious but we thought was a waste as some of the space could have been given to the main room itself.

exceptionally clean -I took a queen bed -big room and big bathroom with shower- small window with view of the tower - location was perfect -close to restaurants quiet area. Myeong Dong station Closer train line 4 exit four. 2-minute walk to the property, good for the value.

It has a washing machine and roof top patio on the eighth floor. The elevator goes up only to the seventh floor. Going up and down from the seventh to eighth floor is extremely dangerous because there is no handrail (or banister). If I go back to Seoul for 7 to 10 days, I will use this hotel again. However, if I decide to stay in Seoul more than 10 days, I will have to choose another property.

I loved the location. The hotel was clean, and my cleaning lady was wonderful.

I didn't like that I couldn't control the heating from my room I had to ask the front desk. Also, the laundry was on the 8th floor, you had to walk up to the 8th floor to do laundry, and it was not safe since it was missing a handrail/banister. My sister fell coming down, she did not get hurt, but she could have gotten hurt. I would have appreciated some drawers to put away intimate clothing, the room only has a closet. I also think they should replace the carpet with some wood floor for hose like me that suffer from allergies.

I recently stayed at Hotel New Oriental Myeongdong, and it was an excellent experience from start to finish. The location is fantastic, with easy access to Myeongdong's bustling shopping streets, great restaurants, and public transportation, making it incredibly convenient for exploring Seoul. The staff were exceptionally helpful, going out of their way to ensure I had a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Their warm hospitality truly made a difference. The room was brand-new, spotless, and very quiet, providing the perfect retreat after a long day of sightseeing. The modern design and thoughtful amenities made it both cozy and functional. I highly recommend Hotel New Oriental Myeongdong to anyone visiting Seoul. Whether you're traveling for business or leisure, this hotel is a wonderful choice!

I enjoyed my 2 night stay at the New Oriental. My room was a good size, clean and the bed was comfortable. I could just see the Namsan Tower from my window which was great. The staff were really friendly and helpful, and spoke good English. The location was great as it was close to the station and just across the road from the main shopping streets, but it was on the corner of a quieter road so not noisy at night. Also the roof top area gives a great view of the Namsan tower.

A bit dated, but great for the price.

Excellent Stay - Highly Recommend! I recently had the pleasure of staying at the New Oriental Hotel and was thoroughly impressed. The location was fantastic, placing me within easy walking distance of Myeongdong walking street, restaurants, department stores, and other attractions. The staff were incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable stay. I was even upgraded to a room that comfortably accommodated my family. My room was impeccably clean.

Overly high pillow and uncomfortable

Hotel is located right across the road from Myeongdong, a distance that remains close enough to the bustling area yet not noisy! Staff are very helpful and friendly too!

Room is a little dim, and there isn't enough hooks to hang clothes/towels in the bathroom. Would be good if more lights and hooks can be installed.

Great location, very convenient for airport limousine bus, metro, shopping and eateries. Excellent base for first timer.

Room had a strange chemical smell (probably from cleaning), but after opening the window it was ok. Little dated, but had all the basics for a 3 night stay.

Great location - just two minutes walk from airport bus drop off/ pick up. Close to night market - but on other side of street, so quiet! Close to metro Staff were friendly Fantastic shower Decent size room I would definitely stay here again

The shower head 👌and the bed was very comfortable. The exchange machine at the entrance was very convenient.

No breakfast available, the light switch was far from the bed, and it only had one plug on the wall for 110 connection.
