I love the room, the toilet and the heated floor! The mattress was comfortable, the comforter too! Fluffy so warm and cool at the same time. The room is a bit small, with two adults and their luggages, but with a bit of patience, all is well! The host was great, he helped us with the luggages going to our room! Initially we were assigned to level 3 room, but luck was on our side, we were put on 2nd floor! Thank goodness.

THE ROAD TOWARDS THE GUESTHOUSE! it's so near yet so far! From myeongdong station, I suggest for exit 3 because of the escalator! 😉😉 This is a very useful tips heheh the road is a bit uphill, so when you drag your bags there........ Feeling like crying. At nights, you'll see the Moonsun Guesthouse signboard. IT FEELS SO FARRRRR WHEN YOU'RE TIRED! Ah this Guesthouse has no lift, so it's a bit tiresome to bring a 20kg luggage up 😂

The staff of the guesthouse were absolutely exceptional. On our first day having breakfast at the communal kitchen the manager gave us Yakult drinks and upon chrckout gave us free Korean bookmarks as souvenirs. On top of that the location of the property on the street directly opposite from the Myeongdong shopping street is unbeatable. Unbelievable convenience to catch the metro or bus to/from the airport. The only small inconvenience was that the towels were the size of hand towels instead of full-size towels, but you can easily get nore towels and also change them everyday. This guesthouse is highly recommended, and I will definitely be staying there again next time I am back in Seoul.

small towels and the extraction fan in the bathroom of room 301 was not working properly. However, these are minor issues, and I would absolutely stay at this guesthouse again and recommend it to anyone visiting Seoul.

This hotel is centrally located in Myeondong district and just a 5min walk from it! It is up-hill but you wont die its do-able. I never met the owner but messaged them twice through booking messaging and they would respond within the hour even around midnight hours when we asked them for bigger towels and we got them next day without any issue! The area is quiet which is a big contrast if you walk downhill to the actual main street which is a plus because you'll sleep great.

The rooms are A LOT smaller than pictured but honestly didn't stay in the room unless it was to sleep so we didn't mind but just FYI. The bathroom has no ventilation whatsoever so you need to open the actual room door to let that moisture out of the room because even the toilet paper and your clothes get slightly damp so it feels stuffy. This place has no elevator and its just stairs to go up and down so if you travel with luggage or stairs aren't your thing avoid this place as there is no way around it we were on the third floor.

Good location in Myeongdong, near the shopping streets. Several convenience stores and a supermarket located along the same street. Rooms are clean, but small. It is a simple room, good for short trips where you will be travelling out during the day.

Laundry facilities are only available until 10pm, so it is advisable to come back early to do laundry. Pantry is also only accessible before 10pm, and is closed until the next morning, so getting drinking water from the pantry may be difficult.

Accessible to Myeong-dong street, near to subway station, halal restaurants, convenience store etc...was lucky to stay there cuz it was spring season and cherry blossom. There are sakura trees just In front of the guesthouse.

Great location, just minutes walk from the subway station. A small slope to get to the guesthouse, but not that much that it will kill you even with a big backpack. Owner was very friendly even if he could not speak much English. Very well equipped kitchen in the basement. Rooms are smaller than expected, but very clean with the usual toiletries and towels provided. Laundry service available. Good wifi.

There is no elevator and the water filler is in the basement level, whereas our room was on the top floor. Was quite a chore to keep going up and down to get water every time and there was no hot kettle provided in the room. Power points are not located close to beds.

i think the room is comfortable. they have a wardrobe for u to put ur clothes and put ur bag inside there. The staffs were really helpful even though they not fluent in english. The bathroom is clean. The public lounge/kitchen also clean. They provide water dispenser, microwave, coffee maker and etc. Also u can request iron if u need. The location 10 mins from Myeong dong Entrance Exit 3. Nearby got 7eleven and mart to buy food. For muslim, Busanjib not that far from here. If u eat there, u can just walk back to the hostel. Near to myeong dong street. And the room space and qiblat is fit for u to pray. No need to pray on bed hahaha. Oh, in the room has chiller to put ur foods and drinks. Got a/c and heater floor.

They dont have lift. So if u have heavy luggage hahaha try ur best. My room was at 3 level but the staff help us with the luggage. Oh almost forgot, towel here supper small. Just cover ur private part hahaha.

The guest house is located in a perfect area, close to the metro station, shops, restaurants and many tourist attractions. Rooms are clean, beds are very comfortable. You can easily fit two large suitcases in the room. An additional advantage is the fridge. We also had a good hair dryer, which is very important for me when traveling. The bathroom was very large and comfortably furnished, there was a comfortable shower, we were provided with cosmetics, slippers and towels. The host was very nice and took care of our comfort. Thank you for helping with the suitcase :) We recommend this place and we plan to come back here this year :)

Location is one of the best. The night market and shopping just a few blocks away and across a subway under path. Many restaurants. Train station and bus stop are near by. Manager is very nice and allows us to leave luggage there after check out.

It’s up hill and hard to walk with luggage. It’s better to call a taxi from train station to go to the hotel. About 7000 won depends on traffic. Not a problem for young people. It’s not a problem to leave the hotel as it’s a down hill walk .

Very convenient to metro, restaurants, shops, street food, night life, etc... We had noisy neighbors, at night around 12:00am for multiple nights, and the owner spoke with them in a VERY timely manner. We didn't ask for help until the second night. We appreciate his responsiveness!!

A little small, but we knew that booking the guest house. Beds were not super comfortable.
