The owner is super nice and helpful. If you have any extra requests or requirements, I would recommend speaking to him to see if these can be accommodated. Very convenient to be able to use the washer and dryer for free. Even though my room was on the 1st floor, with the common room and kitchen right outside the room, it was mostly quiet. Good, central location but a steep walk from Myeongdong metro station as the guesthouse is up a hill. I preferred taking an Uber when I had to transport my suitcases as it can get hard to wheel them up and down the hill alone. Water pressure was good and hot water was also available.

This is the 4th property I stayed at in Myeongdong and it is the first one for such a good price that has a real door to the toilet (usually they have a glass door that doesn't lock). The interior and rooms of the building have been recently refurbished so everything is new and clean; wifi works great, very nice rooftop with view of the Namsan tower; kitchen with all amenities in the common area. Location: on the "quiet" side of Myeongdong. The building is on the N tower side, 3 minutes walking distance from exit 3 of the metro station, but up a hill so if you get there with heavy luggage it might not be ideal. Comfy bed. Ask for a room on the 1st floor.

Ask for a room on the 1st floor: I slept on the ground floor and I could hear every single guest who came back at night (it felt like they were in the room with me) and whenever somebody cooked at night the smell would get to my room from beneath the door. The description of the room said refrigerator (which every single place I stayed at in Seoul had), however there was no refrigerator in the room, only a medium size one in the common area which of course was always full.

- There was glitches with the aircon & the drier. After reporting it to staff, Staff Anita apologised and acted on it immediately. - We had issues with our flight and needed to extend our stay, staff Jimmy was courteous and kind to assist us. - The place is so clean and quiet. - The rooftop is a nice place to relax at night. - We didn’t need to search for staff when we arrived because because door and room codes were communicated to us ahead of time. - My daughter loved their shampoo/conditioner/bodywash.

Bed was too low for me who has a problem with my hips (but not their fault).

As a solo traveler attending the BTS Festa and J-Hope's “Hope on the Stage Final,” I couldn’t have chosen a better place to stay than Space Guesthouse in Myeongdong. My six-night stay here was nothing short of exceptional, thanks to the warmth, comfort, and thoughtful hospitality I experienced from the moment I arrived. The heart and soul of this guesthouse is undoubtedly its manager, Jimmy. Despite arriving early at 11 a.m. on a hot summer day, he not only let me leave my luggage but later welcomed me in for an early check-in at no extra cost—an incredibly kind gesture that made me feel instantly at home. His friendly demeanor and genuine care for guests truly set the tone for a relaxing stay. The room itself was impeccably clean, with a cozy bed and a pillow so soft and comfortable I actually slept through to 11:00 a.m. the next day! The ensuite toilet was spotless, and essential amenities like high-speed Wi-Fi, washing machine, dryer, iron, fridge, microwave, and water dispenser were all readily available—making it perfect for both short stays and longer ones. Location-wise, Space Guesthouse is an absolute gem. Just about 350 meters from Myeongdong Station (Line 4, Exit 3 & 4) and close to the airport limousine bus stop, it’s incredibly easy to get around Seoul from here. What’s more, halal food options are plentiful and super close by—Kampungku and Bakso Bejo are just 2 minutes away, and within a 5-minute stroll you’ll find Mari Meokja, Sechawan, Lepak Laa, BusanJib, and Ahmed Kebab lining the lively Myeongdong food street. If you’re looking for a clean, welcoming, and conveniently located guesthouse in Seoul, Space Guesthouse is the place. I’m truly grateful for the experience—and I’ll definitely be back! Too bad I forgot to take the room's picture before unpacking my stuffs!

The location is central of Myeongdong. Close walk to a lot of convenient stores like GS 25, 7-Eleven, CU. Close walk to Myeongdong night market and shopping street, and subway station. Getting to and from airport is convenient, there is hill you need to go up to get to the accommodation. Laundry and drying machine is convenient. Kitchen facilities and outdoor and roof top area is lovely. Clean and basic accommodation. Host is easily contactable through WhatsApp. Filtered water available in the kitchen. Would’ve been excellent if there was housekeeping.

Should have provided a much bigger towel & there should be enough separation for the shower room. But those little things were complimented by the attentiveness & prompt email reply by the host & the pro-activeness by the lady staff. Would still stay here if given complimentary add'l 1 or 2 days by the host🙂. Nice place to stay

The rooftop room I stayed at gave an amazing view of the Namsan Tower, and access to the terrace, perfect for having a meal while enjoying the view. All the amenities have been clean and working. Having a washing machine and dryer was extremely handy for a trip of 10 days.

Getting to the third floor using stairs with 2 suitcases in tow was a bit of a hassle. And the property is situated on a hill. Also, it would have been nice to have a small fridge in the room.

Nice comfy spot with a cafe down the street. Very close to a very busy area of Seoul and to attractions. Tons of food choices and a night market. Bed, bathroom and room size was fine. Most guest were followed the rules except the young ones.

Walls were quite thin. It was great almost every night until My young neighbors had the most fantastic time next door with an opera of love at 2am that lasted an hour . I actually didn’t mind but other people with kids maybe not.

Great location, in a quiet area but within walking distance to Myeongdong and the main sites, with lots of amenities nearby. Clean, well equipped, with a nice common kitchen. You can also do your laundry on site. Really good value for the money - would gladly stay again.

The only real minus is that if your room is near the reception you will hear all the noises from there, like the group of rude Chinese girls talking loudly and doing their laundry late at night despite the signs forbidding this.

I enjoyed my stay at SPACE Guesthouse. As a cheap and affordable accommodation option, location is quite convenient as it is only a 5 minute uphill walk from Myeong-dong station. Self check-in process is straight forward. The size of the room allowed for space for large luggage. Bed was quite comfortable. Staff member is on-site everyday in the morning and was extremely helpful and friendly with helping me work out the washer and dryer when I had to do laundry. I would definitely recommend SPACE Guesthouse to solo or travelling couples who are looking to save money for their stay and are willing to sacrifice luxury for a humble and comforting experience.
