The owner is very kind and hospitable. He responds quickly, can speak good english. There was a time when my husband’s tummy was upset and he was kind enough to even go up to our floor and provide the place where we can buy medicine and what type of medicine should we buy. The location is superb as it is near namsan and myeongdong center. The uphill was not a problem for us since my kids are grown ups and we enjoy outdoor walking. The family room is beg enough for 4 travellers. Will surely come back!

The guesthouse owner was very accommodating and friendly. He makes sure that you will have a comfy stay. Location is close to Myeongdong and Namsan Tower access is walking distance. The train and bus stations are nearby too with a lot of convenience stores and restaurants around. Photo spots around the neighborhood.

Just walking up the slope with luggages might be a problem if you are with kids and elderly. Not really a bad thing but if you are considering that when booking an accommodation this might help. It’s tiring after touring around and being outside during summer.

The location is perfect, right by a bus stop and minutes’ walk to Myeong Dong. 7/11 1 minute away. There was aircon and wifi and a communal kitchen. Basic rooms but all the essentials were there.

The room could have done with renovating, there were only two sockets (one had the wifi and tv in) and the other sparked when we used it. The walls etc were very scuffed and there was no bedside light (as in the pictures). The bathroom could also use a deep clean, underneath of the toilet and the toilet brush were pretty dirty. The communal kitchen is a nice feature but a complete mess and needs a thorough clean.

We really liked the location - a short walk to Myeongdong station and markets but far enough from the action to be quiet. It is up a short but steep hill, and the rooms are upstairs, so not a good option if you have difficulties with mobility. The host was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were very clean, and there was a shared kitchen downstairs where you could store and prepare food. The mattress was very firm (as they were in most places we stayed in South Korea).

There were no chairs or a table in the room so if we wanted to sit at a table to eat or work, we had to go downstairs to the kitchen, and there was nowhere to sit except the bed.

Easy to get to. A wee bit of a hike up a hill so that was my uphill workout complete 💪. Our room was comfortable and clean. The manager was very kind and friendly. We had a few clothes to wash and he showed us how to use the washing machine and where to hang our washing. Everything in walking distance and restaurants very close by. We had a family room with air-conditioning. We don't usually use air-conditioning but this was very welcome as it was very hot!

Ideal location as a base for exploring Seoul. Myeongdong is nearby, so there are plenty of choices where to eat, the subway is close and the historical centre is not so far away either.

You can hear other guests thru thin walls. The room wasn't cleaned well after the previous guest. I found a few half-empty bottles and other garbage almost everywhere in the room, where it was possible to hide it.

Good location, friendly host, easily accessible for late night check-ins, cheap for private room and toilet!

These are more curiosities Bed was firmer than I am used to so left my back a bit stiff in the morning Only gave hand towels and no full body towels (I didn't bother to ask for one so this might have just been a simple mistake) Someone else had mentioned about the smell in the stairway and I'd probably agree, it is a slightly unpleasant smell but about what you'd expect from a hostel like accommodation

excellent location, very friendly owner, comfortable and clean room, great wifi. would definitely stay again. excellent value for money.

if you book this you need to be aware that there is someone on location only in the afternoon to check people in and you're on your own the rest of the time.

The location was convenient for visiting N Seoul Tower and reasonably close to the Myeongdong subway station. It was up the hill a bit, but so are many other guesthouses in the area, this is just the natural landscape of Seoul. The room was small, but still comfortable and clean. There was a shared kitchen. You will be asked to remove your shoes upon entering. It was quiet at night, but needed to use the AC quite a bit, as Seoul is just very hot and humid in August.

The owner was not there when I arrived and he left the key at the reception for guests arriving late like me. He lives somewhere else, so he may not be always available to help.

A really nice location, even tho you need to go uphill from metro station, this quiet place and Namsan park nearby really worth it. Friendly english-speaking owner, comfortable kitchen, everything was good for this price.

The room’s window view was a wall but for this price it’s okay
