I stayed in a single room, it was nice and cozy with private bathroom. There was a floor heating so if it was cold you could just turn it on. Washing machine and dryer for free. Towels/hair dryer and other stuff avaiable for guests. Not far from the metro station, a lot of restaurants and coffee shops around. Also the Myeongdong night market is really close so you can try all street food! The owner was nice, just quiet but I liked it. There is a breakfast from 8 to 11, but a simple one, coffee is good! Minuses: my room felt a little dump. I tried to dry my laundry there but it was still dump after 24h so I think there is a ventilation issue? The window doesn't open so no air coming in. I tried to leave the door open as frequently as I could so this helped a little. Also the common area (with kitchen space) could be more clean - especially inside the kitchen cupboards.

Great location and value for money. The guesthouse is located slightly uphill but it is not too steep if you walk from Myeongdong station. Despite it is only a few minutes walk from the station and the touristy Myeongdong area with major department stores, The North Face, Oliver & Young etc, the guesthouse surroundings are quiet. There are all basic items in the room (including heater) and a hot (& cold) water machine in the common area which I find very useful in my visit in winter.

Would be better if there are a few more pairs of slippers on days with many guests. (the common area is clean so it doesn't affect much)

We arrived early and left our luggage first to check-in later. 6-7 minutes downhill walk to Myeongdong station. The host was very kind and accommodating. It was quiet, sound proofing was good for our room, and we hardly bumped into anyone else. We did not try the breakfast though as we started our day very early. The kitchen looked well-equipped. Water, coffee and tea were available throughout the day. The bathroom is more spacious that I expected. The bedroom floor is heated! That was a nice surprise so it was very comfortable. For a twin room, it was sufficient space for both of us (I have stayed in much, much smaller private rooms in Seoul). Great value for money. Very affordable stay in central Seoul. If you're going to Namsan Tower, the cable car station is 2 minutes walk :) yes it is that high up the hill.

Nothing specific. We enjoyed our stay. Note: If you dislike walking uphill, you might want to reconsider, it requires effort. Or you can get a taxi, maybe. We only 'suffered' with our luggage on the first day, the rest of the days we were happy to get good workout for the legs :)

The location was wonderful, just a short walk from Namsan Tower, though the steep slope made the climb a little tiring. I also loved how close it was to Myeongdong—surrounded by restaurants, street food stalls, shops, and even convenient money exchange.

I did feel a bit disappointed with the condition of the house. The bread was moldy—perhaps because of the hot and humid weather—the living room felt cluttered with too many things, and the kitchen utensils weren’t as clean as I had hoped.

Near all the public transport and have a full facilities. The owner is really kind. He even help my sister which is not stay at there to find a cab and let her crush in my room while waiting. He also really considerate when I asked to used a washing machine early than the time and let me stay longer in the room with no extra charge about 3 hours for me to wait for my laundry and repacked my bag. One you are really good house owner. ❤️

I have to walk up to the hill. Since I have a knee condition it is a little bit of challenge for me.

accommodation chosen for its proximity to the meeting point for the organized tour we had booked. The room has just the essentials for sleeping and showering. Breakfast offers something basic, but the addition of the guest fridge, where you can keep something you buy outside, has toned down the simplicity. The staff is always friendly, kind and helpful. I knew there was a washing machine, but finding the dryer too was "WOW" for me.

the electrical outlets were the only downside for me. The room has 6 of them, but all 6 did not hold the chargers securely, and therefore I had to find a way to keep them from falling out of the socket and not having the charge on the cell phone (important for using Naver and Papago if you don't know the place and don't speak muck Korean language). And also the lack of a chair where you can put your clothes down when you go to sleep.

Great value for money in quiet location and only a few minutes walk from central city. Host very friendly and welcoming. We would definitely stay again. There is breakfast cereal, bread for toast , noodles and coffee included plus a fridge to use. Namsan park is just minutes away too. The host also allows you to store luggage in the lobby for free for the day if needed. We got a really good deal for the room and were happy with everything.

Nothing everything was good

The room was great—spacious and clean. I chose one with a private bathroom. It’s not far from Myeongdong Market, just a short walk away. The host was lovely, easy to talk to, and very kind. However, it might not be ideal for those who dislike uphill walking, as the path is a bit steep. But it’s very accessible from the airport—buses stop on the main road, and it’s just a short walk from there. It’s also convenient for getting back and close to the subway.

The room was spacious with a heated floor (winter), free breakfast, and complete amenities. You can even cook your own meal. They also provide heat packs and face mask. The staff were helpful and responsive if you have questions or need assistance with. The place is located at the upper part and it's walking distance from Myeongdong shopping street and N Seoul Tower.

1. The location is great. It's just at the foot of the Namsan mountain with the tower and 10 min away from a central market. 2. The host was nice and spoke English 3. They had provided everything we'd need, including wifi, towels, and breakfast. The beds were very comfortable too. There is a shared kitchen with everything you'd need and a laundry room

1. The facilities are kind of old, like rusty metal parts, some paint fallen off the walls, and there was some mold in the bathroom.
