Food was decent, buffet plentiful, big variety. Steakhouse, steak was very tough. Other restaurants pretty good

We liked the facilities. The food was amazing.

We were disappointed with the customer service. Here are two examples. First, after enjoying a great Teppanyaki dinner, my stepdaughter asked for ice cream. The response was that it was not included in the Teppanyaki menu, and the only option was the matcha cheesecake. Such a response was unexpected in an all-inclusive hotel. The other example occurred during lunch; we were suddenly informed that the restaurant was closing. I only had the opportunity to have a salad. Our recommendation would be to inform customers upon arrival that the restaurant closes at a certain time. Additionally, there should be a reminder 10 minutes before closing.

Location is great, we felt welcomed during arrival, easy check in, food was amazing, the room was nice and clean. Pool was nice and the hotel has access to the beach (low waves). There were two great shows: the fire show and the tribute to Queen.

Even though there are several restaurants to visit, we were unable to visit them all due to no space. For the steakhouse, we went 3 nights in a row even near the opening times with no space; this left us with no chance to visit this or the Mexican Cantina one. There was no option to make reservations or a way to make it fair for people to enjoy all the options avail.

Breakfast was great, plenty options to enjoy in the mornings. Liked that there was also a small coffee shop to pick up things if on the go. The pool area was a pleasant surprise. Initially was not sure about the music and the foam party etc, however it really made the whole experience fun and unique. The staff at the pool were great. Guest services were always in contact to ensure my husband had enough vegetarian food options available to him. Evening shows when we went were great.

Food for dinner could have been better- the resturaunt food was ok- but could have been slightly improved. Additional services quite expensive e.g the spa. We didn't use this because of that.

It’s like a bit of Vegas dropped into CR but with Costa Rican staff. Great pool! Great shuttle system. Great service.

The food was very American fare. Only soda and Pepsi products available with lunch and dinner. No coffee bar that I saw. Few non alcoholic choices. Beach is not great- esp since CR has so many great beaches but you could def. find a place to read along it.

Everything was lovely. Only thing I would mention is the beach. It is not the best. Very rocky. Also, the drinks are watered down. I know what a proper mojito tastes like. The ones I received were not good. Lots of sugar but very little liquor.

I definitely preferred the Breakfast Buffet over the Star Package a la carte breakfast. Also, the Buffet has better scenery if dining outside. All in all they have done a really nice job with their options available to everyone staying there. I also appreciated the fitness classes, especially after all the eating and drinking that was done.

I wish that the Karaoke machine had more songs to select from, the machine was surprisingly limited in song selection. There really isn't an incentive to utilize the a la carte breakfast area.

Except for one very rude bartender from Time Out the staff was exceptionally nice and helpful. Special thanks to the Premiere bar (Paola, Sharon, Heber) they were beyond amazing. The room was spacious and the bed was super comfortable. All the food was great. We visited all restaurants and the food was good in all of them. Our P.A. Jeffrey was amazing and helpful. He even brought us an anniversary treat to our room.

Rude bartender in Time Out bar refused to serve drinks to our table at 10pm stating the bar was closed (It actually closed at 1am, he was just being rude) Star Class used to have more benefits, our last day (weekend) the private pool was so full there was no room to sit and have a drink. Also the bars were short stocked in different types of liqueur. We felt they were short staffed through out our stay. Not enough waiters at the pool nor restaurants. Our room was poorly stocked, no iron machine. Only one bar of soap. Snacks not refilled. Cleanness of the room was good, of the overall hotel not so much. We woke up to cigar butts and cans of beer in the lobby almost everyday.

Excellent everything was hollywood made, the STAR class welcoming applause, the cocktail the VIP Check in, I mean it was so cool you feel like a Star. My "butler" bent backwards for me to get me what I needed. MR. HERMAN HAYLOCK, on point!!! The MR. JOSEPH CONTRERAS at the restaurant....man he lighten up the mood with his hot Gelato show...the whole restaurant was quite and borring but thid guy did a flaming show and everyone was amazed...great job. The check in and check out was fast and easy not too many questions ask. THANK YOU DANNY @ Star Class VIP check in. My rating is 10+ and my recommendation will ALWAYS BE. PH you guys gave me a real vacation.

Chef Allen and server Randall were great. Room was located near loading dock and lots of noise from incoming vehicles and loading and unloading of equipment baby talking to me evening entertainment phenomenal

Building 22 room located near loading dock and lots of noise. Transportation took longer than desire.
