Our room was spacious, clean and well equipped. We stayed in a King Exec Studio and it was perfect (2 adults 1 child - 12 years of age). Comfy bed, air con worked great, towels and toiletries etc. changed / replenished daily. The rooms were also cleaned daily. The staff were fantastic. Can't do enough for you. Very attentive, polite and welcoming. A particular example would be that during our stay it was my wife's 40th birthday. Upon returning to our room later that day the staff had decorated the room with rose petals and made various objects such as a birthday cake, swans, flowers etc. out of towels. They'd also left her an actual birthday cake which was a really nice gesture / touch.

The lifts. We stayed on The Walk side and the only real criticism (and it is a minor one really) we would have of the hotel is that the lifts are not the most efficient. Fortunately we were on the 2nd floor so could take the stairs no issue. However, you would often get in the lift, select the 2nd floor, go past your floor to the 20th floor if someone had pressed the call button, then stop anywhere and everywhere along the way until you finally got to your floor.

The breakfast area felt a bit congested, more spacious may have helped, especially as lots of large families who were talking across tables making it an uncomfortable experience for us. Hotel can’t be faulted for that as some people are just inconsiderate. However, could seat larger families away from small groups of 2-4. I also experienced selfish behaviour re leaving towels on many unoccupied beach and pool lounges, again not the hotel to be blamed but maybe more signage explaining it’s unacceptable to do that etc.

It’s east as location is excellent, and we had a gorgeous upgrade which was fab and our view amazing!!

The lifts, they took for ever they were just unbelievably slow. I heard a lot of people give out about them. You wouldn’t want to be in a hurry. Morning times were a nightmare and after the beach and pool and then dinner time. Something needs to be done about it.

Hotel is well situated near the beach and promenade and Marina area so handy for everything. Many cafes etc. nearby. We were upgraded to a small suite which was a bonus. The bar on 35th floor had a great view and a good vibe. Short walk to the tram which takes you to the Metro and from there to e.g. Burj Khalifa (1hr journey total).

There is a well known problem with the lifts - insufficient number for the building so often a long wait to get up or down. Hilton The Walk is a 5-min walk by simple above-street corridor to the next door Hilton which has the beach access and better swimming pool, but prices are higher there so take your pick.

Good breakfast at Hartizan, Good dinner at Oceania, Excellent service at the Italian restaurant. Chan has done a great job. Great location. Helpful staff. The three bedroom apartment is very spacious. The gym is clean. The bar on level 35 has a magnificent view. Lots of restaurants and bars around the hotel.

One of the staff members at the Waivers restaurant was a bit rude, so I asked to be served by someone else on my second visit. I don’t like being served with an attitude, and I’m not sure why she’s working there. Apart from that one person, I would say the rest of the staff is fine. Waiting for the lifts might take time.

I had a wonderful one-night stay at Hilton Dubai The Walk on April 15th, and once again, the experience exceeded my expectations. Special thanks to Caroline at the reception, who went above and beyond to secure me an early check-in. Her professionalism and kindness truly set the tone for a smooth and welcoming arrival. Also, a heartfelt appreciation to Sara, the receptionist with the unforgettable smile and warmth. She instantly recognized me from my last visit two months ago and welcomed me like a family member. That personal touch made me feel valued and at home. The hotel itself is always a great choice in Dubai, but it’s the people like Caroline and Sara who truly elevate the experience. Looking forward to coming back soon!

The room size was great, with very nice view of Ain Wheel. Very comfortable beds and great facilities in the room. Great team at the reception and very helpful staff during breakfast, lunch, dinner. (Apart from the guy mentioned in negatives). Possibility to change dinner for lunch if missed was also great. The beach side was very nice.

The lift waiting situation was terrible. Every time we had to wait so long. It should have a better setup. Food could get repetitive and not many seafood options. To charge for water and soft drinks during dinner was just sad. There was a bold guy, supervisor at the breakfast service who was constantly screaming, blaming and patronising the ladies waitresses (although they did all they could) and their service was always great. He ruined the whole atmosphere during the breakfasts when he was on shifts as he was stressing the team, which then influenced the overall atmosphere for us as clients. It is terrible to see that some managers/supervisors are still treating people this way.

Had an amazing staycation with my family. The only thing I regret was not booking extra days. Would’ve loved to stay longer. Shout out to Eloisa from the reservation and Cho from the Banquet team for their great service. Breakfast spread was great, the proximity to everything central is nice, lots of option where to eat, what to do and where to go. We ended up with a better room too, which had everything we ever needed. A definite must stay hotel. :)

The 3 bed was very spacious and modern. It was fitted out to a very high standard. The beds were very comfortable.

The lifts. It could take 5-10 minutes to get a lift. They seemed to be constantly engaged. There are too few lifts for the size of Hotel. There were 2 lifts outside our apartment and in the 3 days we were there they never once stopped at our floor. Even the staff admitted it was a big problem. Also there were men hanging around outside the Hotel entrance constantly asking did we want a taxi. Presumably these were private unregulated taxis. Should not be allowed.
