I stayed at this hotel with my mother for three days, and I can't say enough about the staff and facilities. We are African American, so we weren't sure how we would be received, but the staff was so warm and welcoming, especially Deyvis, who I bonded with immediately because he's Cuban and I know Cuba very well. He was very kind and made sure we were able to check into our room at 10 a.m., since we were super tired from our cruise. He recommended that we upgrade to a room with a balcony, and the view of Barcelona an absolute showstopper, as you'll see in my photo. The minifridge is free, and stocked daily with bottled water and juice. We loved the shower in our bathroom and the lotion, soap and body wash from Smile; they were super luxe. Breakfast was amazing and had plenty of variety, from pancakes, to fresh fruit and juices. Breakfast was the highlight of our stay! Plus, we were super close to a couple of metro lines, and two blocks away from laundry facilities. Staff was knowledgable about how to get around, even places that are off the beaten path, like where the Barcelona Open tennis tournament takes place. And they sell tickets for the hop on, hop off bus, which is super convenient. We liked that there was a security guard downstairs too, and he was also very friendly!

Everything was perfect!

The breakfast was amazing. They do omelette and pancakes in front of you, based on your needs. I truly recommend to take the breakfast. It is worth it. Also the location is good, not in the crowded center but really close to it, 15 min walk maximum.

A balcony would have been perfect

The room was very clean, well presented and comfortable. I had such a good nights sleep because the bed was amazing and super comfortable. It was lovely that there was complimentary juices and water provided in the mini bar, as well as tea and coffee facilities. The location was good - it was close to the city centre or you could get a taxi easily from right outside. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I emailed before arriving as I was worried about arriving in the night - and I had a very quick response reassuring me that the reception desk is open 24 hours and someone would be available to assist me. Overall I was really happy with my stay, and I would recommend this hotel. If I come back to Barcelona in the future I would definitely consider staying here again.

I had an amazing stay at this hotel in Barcelona! The location was perfect—just a 2-minute walk to the metro and a 10-minute walk to the port. The service was outstanding, with the minibar being refilled for free once a day. I’ve stayed in many hotels, but the staff here truly stood out. They were not only helpful but also incredibly friendly and informative, always ready to assist with anything we needed. The room was a standard double, and although it was compact, it was more than spacious enough for the two of us and our three pieces of luggage. The beds were large and comfortable. We did have an issue with the AC on the first night as the room was too cold, but the staff responded immediately and moved us to another room. Overall, I’d highly recommend this hotel and will definitely choose it again on my next trip to Barcelona!

Room was big and it was cleaned every day. The bathroom had a bathtub, but it was modern and clean. The mini-fridge in the room was filled up with free complementary drinks (water, sparkling water, lemonade and some juices) every day. Very good AC in the room. The room was facing the main street, but it was well soundproofed so we did not hear anything. All the staff we interacted with was friendly, nice and smiling. The breakfast was more than abundent in options, the space was AC and there is also a nice outdoor terrace (with very nice attention paid to the plants arrangements and decor), where you can enjoy the breakfast (if the weather is not too hot :) ).

No complains. More like a note: we stayed there end of June 2025 for 5 nights, and there are constructions work on the street in front of the hotel.

Breakfast is great and the breakfast staff was great!!!!!!! I WOULD DEFINITELY STAY THERE AGAIN! Location was perfect for accessing all the main points by train from Montjuic to Park Guell (no guide needed having the train station outside the hotel) for me this was the PERFECT HOTEL!!!!! Seriously, I was nervous about this hotel when I saw its surroundings, but I am so glad I booked it! and We literally walked almost the whole city with my 10 year old daughter! I wish I had pictures to share, unfortunately I lost my phone in the airport in New York!!!! :(

The mattress was a bit too hard for me but it was good for my husband and my daughter.

Hotel is great with nice rooms and good equipment. Specially breakfast is really stunning.

Room and bathroom were clean and shower had great water pressure. We were in an extra space room, and the bed was really comfy with good pillows. The mini bar is free - no alcohol or food, but you get water and fruit juices topped up daily. We couldn't hear any noise from outside, or other rooms, well sound proofed. Staff friendly / helpful, and the location makes the city very walkable. AC worked well too. Also there is a metro outside the hotel, and lots of places to eat / drink within a few minutes walk. Area felt safe. Room was cleaned daily to a good standard.

We found overall accommodation in Barcelona is expensive (long bank holiday weekend). This hotel was on the more mid end of the spectrum, but like with all of the other hotels felt a bit pricey. Although it was worth it as we had a nice stay due to location and comfiness of room. Only points we would make as room for improvement are - cost (but we accept its a pricey city), WiFi was a bit patchy and rooms had a bit of obvious wear and tear, but not enough to make the room feel unclean. We didn't eat breakfast at the hotel as it was £17 per person per day, which is expensive - but also to note that was cheaper than some of the other hotels we'd looked at staying in.

This hotel was absolutely perfect! Smelt amazing as we walked through the doors and the staff were really lovely and friendly and very helpful. Our room was really clean and spacious and had everything we needed. The mattress was so so comfortable- probably the most comfortable I’ve stayed in. The restocked mini fridge was such a great help and we used it daily - included in room price so didn’t cost any extra. The location was amazing, so close to the metro and just a short walk to everything else or to a bus etc. we really couldn’t have been in a better place for exploring Barcelona. We left our big window open all night so we could hear the busy sounds of the city. Very quiet with the window closed and we didn’t hear sounds from the hotel. The number one thing that absolutely made our stay (even with all the above being great) was the breakfast. Omg done second guess doing the breakfast. We paid €17 pp per day. Endless options of food, as much as you enjoy and it was all great food. This is definitely the best review I’ve given of a hotel and I just loved our 3 night stay!

Shampoo and conditioner not great - I took my own and ended up using that because the hotel one wasn’t good. Only powdered milk in the room and it didn’t get restocked after the first night. Honestly nothing else to fault this hotel

I absolutely loved everything about this hotel! It truly deserves a 5-star rating—comfortable in every possible way. The location was perfect—very close to the main bus station and other local bus stops, all conveniently situated on the main street. Despite that, it was surprisingly quiet and peaceful. The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful, offering us great tips on how to explore the city. What stood out the most was their environmental mission—something truly admirable and worth highlighting. The design of the hotel and the room was so creative, with thoughtful little touches that really added to its unique identity. I can’t say enough good things about this lovely place. Highly recommended in every way!
