The concept of the hostel is that you are really a part of a new family. It's not just a place to sleep and shower in, you really feel like at home, welcomed and safe. They have a lot of activities all day every day, organized and free. There is a free family dinner every day and free passes into biggest clubs in Barcelona. You don't have to be afraid if you are a solo traveler. This is the place. Btw - bathrooms are extra clean, cleaned every day for a couple of times. Kitchen also. Big shout out to the reception. + we had our flight in 5 in the morning, they let us chill the whole day there even though we checked out.

I stayed at the Onefam Ramblas hostel for five days and it was the best hostel I have ever experienced! The people I met there were so cool and the staff (Dora, Gabri, Nico, Jack, Bela, Yamil) were always super friendly, helpful and welcoming. The atmosphere made me feel like I was part of a big family! During the day, there were fun activities to explore the city (I really liked the El Raval Grafitti Tour) and in the evening the was always a pub crawl/ club night. If you are looking for a cool, lively, and well organized place to stay, I highly recommend this hostel. I loved every second there!☀️✨️

Fantastic experience overall! Bed was comfortable and curtain gives extra privacy; AC worked very well, it was almost 40C degrees outside but the room remained cool. The location is also very good, close to the metro and easy access to the beach. Now to my favorite part: the vibe of the hostel! The staff were very very friendly (yes, I'm talking to you, Gabri, Dora, Bela and Mayra!) and they have plenty of activities, including free dinner every night, drinking games and clubbing together. If you're traveling solo like I did this is perfect to meet people and have fun :)

Only thing that could be better are the showers, other than that nothing!

The hostel is really great like all Onefam hostels. The volunteers were cool people and there was free dinner every evening. We also went out to party every night and met up with the people from all the other hostels. You can get very cheap beer in the hostel and you can play drinking games before going out.

I was in an 8-bed dorm but people from the next room walked through it to get to their room, so 16 people walked through it in total. That meant in the morning at some point it was hard to sleep because of the noise.

From the moment I walked in, Lucas at the front desk made all the difference. He was warm, kind, and kept the conversation going and I really appreciated that personal touch. Clara brought the energy during the bar crawl, making sure everyone felt included and had a good time. Her vibe helped break the ice, even for folks traveling solo. Shoutout to the “party guy with great hair” (wish I remembered your name!), you kept the pregame socials lively and helped create such a fun, friendly atmosphere before we hit the town. The showers were super spacious with consistently hot water. I also loved that the main room didn’t lock (it gave a chill, open vibe), and the beds were spacious and comfy. The built-in bunk storage and privacy curtains were thoughtful touches. Definitely bring your own lock for valuables, but I felt comfortable and well-set up. Would absolutely recommend this spot to other solo travelers or anyone looking to mix a chill stay with social fun. ✨

It's my second time staying at Onefam Ramblas as now every other hostel sucks in comparison. It's a 10/10 from me on every level: a cozy social environment with lovely people (with privacy and quiet when you need it), top vibes, free food, excellent location, and so many events you'll forget how it feels being bored. The daily activities hosted by the fun and gorgeous staff members (day trips, cooked dinners, drinking games, group bar/club visits) help you explore the city and meet other travellers from all over. A huge thank you to Luca at the front desk who really went beyond the pale to ensure I had everything I need, as well as all the other brilliant receptionists and volunteers who have made the place feel like a home: Gabri, Fizz, Esmerelda, Helena, and Grant -- you're the best <3

No complaints. The only sad part was making new friends that had to leave again, and having to leave Onefam myself :')

This was my first experience staying in a hostel, and I immediately felt welcome and met so many sociable and nice people. The volunteers plan fun day activities and clubbing/bar nights out (my favourite), as well as hosts games and dinners to help people mingle and feel at home. All of the staff, especially Olin, Fran and Hatty, were amazing and very approachable regarding any issues or queries I had. There is always someone awake and working a night shift in the hostel, which felt really safe. Overall I loved my stay and recommend it to anyone looking to visit Barcelona.

Very friendly and comfortable place to stay. It is a small hostel so there are just few rooms and corresponding facilities (shower, toilet) but the hang out area (kitchen) is big enough and there is a big terrace on the first floor with sofas and tables. The stuff was very friendly and accommodating at all times. Special thanks goes to Luca, Brenda and Trevor. They pay attention to ALL tenants, trying to help whenever possible and staying very friendly at all times. Rooms and beds were good too. Lockers and towels are available for a small extra charge which is normal. And curtains on the beds provide nice feeling of privacy. Free ear plugs did the rest. All in all I could find all necessary facilities and things that I needed, I could rest and have fun. Huge thank you for having me!

Only stayed for one night but Luca at the front desk was nice, friendly and helpful! So was everyone staying there! AC and curtains on beds are a big plus and there is a huge terrace on the first floor. They organize dinner every night then you can go out to the pubs and night club if you want to ! I’m sure the overall experience that they offer is great if you looking to meet people and party in BCN!

Unfortunately the beds and steps to get to the top bed were way too noisy! The slightest move was loud and would wake you up unless you passed out from your night out haha but as important it is to bring people together, it’s unfortunate if you also can’t get any decent rest! Speaking for my room but maybe different for other ones.

This was my first experience to live in the hostel. And I spent this time with a great fun🙂 I came at night. It was easy to check in, take a shower and went to bed! The sleeping place was big enough, with comfortable mattress. All the rooms and bathrooms were clean. Conditioning was working all the time to maintain right temperature. The main hostel feature - is the every day events. They offered different excursions, evening parties with interesting games, and then - attending cafes and night clubs. All the guest are notified about noise culture, so If you want to sleep, nobody will disturb you;) Girls and guys, who work in this hostel - are the best well-organised team💪 Thanks for providing the best service😎 I’ll come there one more time, for sure🙌
