It's my second time staying at Onefam Ramblas as now every other hostel sucks in comparison. It's a 10/10 from me on every level: a cozy social environment with lovely people (with privacy and quiet when you need it), top vibes, free food, excellent location, and so many events you'll forget how it feels being bored. The daily activities hosted by the fun and gorgeous staff members (day trips, cooked dinners, drinking games, group bar/club visits) help you explore the city and meet other travellers from all over. A huge thank you to Luca at the front desk who really went beyond the pale to ensure I had everything I need, as well as all the other brilliant receptionists and volunteers who have made the place feel like a home: Gabri, Fizz, Esmerelda, Helena, and Grant -- you're the best <3

No complaints. The only sad part was making new friends that had to leave again, and having to leave Onefam myself :')

This was my first experience staying in a hostel, and I immediately felt welcome and met so many sociable and nice people. The volunteers plan fun day activities and clubbing/bar nights out (my favourite), as well as hosts games and dinners to help people mingle and feel at home. All of the staff, especially Olin, Fran and Hatty, were amazing and very approachable regarding any issues or queries I had. There is always someone awake and working a night shift in the hostel, which felt really safe. Overall I loved my stay and recommend it to anyone looking to visit Barcelona.

Only stayed for one night but Luca at the front desk was nice, friendly and helpful! So was everyone staying there! AC and curtains on beds are a big plus and there is a huge terrace on the first floor. They organize dinner every night then you can go out to the pubs and night club if you want to ! I’m sure the overall experience that they offer is great if you looking to meet people and party in BCN!

Unfortunately the beds and steps to get to the top bed were way too noisy! The slightest move was loud and would wake you up unless you passed out from your night out haha but as important it is to bring people together, it’s unfortunate if you also can’t get any decent rest! Speaking for my room but maybe different for other ones.

This was my first experience to live in the hostel. And I spent this time with a great fun🙂 I came at night. It was easy to check in, take a shower and went to bed! The sleeping place was big enough, with comfortable mattress. All the rooms and bathrooms were clean. Conditioning was working all the time to maintain right temperature. The main hostel feature - is the every day events. They offered different excursions, evening parties with interesting games, and then - attending cafes and night clubs. All the guest are notified about noise culture, so If you want to sleep, nobody will disturb you;) Girls and guys, who work in this hostel - are the best well-organised team💪 Thanks for providing the best service😎 I’ll come there one more time, for sure🙌

I'm a frequent solo traveller, I have stayed in great hostels all over Europe, but Onefam is honestly in a league of its own. From the moment you arrive, the staff treat you like family. There is a huge list of free group activities to help give you a rounded experience of the beautiful city, from historical walking tours to club nights on the beach. The nightly free dinners were delicious and super wholesome and cozy, followed by games and a full night of activities until well into the morning, if you'd like. But importantly, if you don't feel like drinking or want to get to bed early, you are in no way bothered by others. On my first night, I was one of four at the hostel who didn't want to drink, but still felt included in all the activities and had a great time. Another night I was too tired to go out again, but the beds are perfect for this. They are soundproof, comfortable, private, and sturdy -- made of wood so they don't shake and rattle when someone above or below you gets in. I was never disturbed by other travellers in any case, as the hostel has a strict no-noise policy in the evenings. I have the greatest respect for all the staff members as they plan all this on their own, and it's their energy, warmth and creativity that gives the place its character. Special thanks to Luca, Fizz, and Sofia (and all the other staff members) for the great vibes, you guys are incredible <3 Overall, I had a wonderful time and made several friends for life, and will definitely be returning. If there's a Onefam in a city, I wouldn't choose anywhere else.

Leaving

Amazing social hostel, which really feels like a “family” day/night activities posted in advance and done together with other 4 sister hostels which makes it even better as you get to meet other people staying in other onefams! Also have family dinners, very friendly staff and volunteers who really go to lengths to make our stay enjoyable. Location is very good with the metro line just down the road and walking distance to the beach and las ramblas. I just wish there are more bathrooms. Thanks to Sofia and Yike for being an absolute legends!

I stayed here as a solo traveler, and WOW—it was amazing! From the moment I walked in, I was welcomed into the ‘fam’. The staff made me feel right at home, always ready to chat or help out with anything I needed. (Thanks Ylke, Chloe, Josh, Kim, Wyatt, Cami and Sofia you guys are the best) The place is super clean and in a great spot—close to everything, but still quiet enough for a good night's sleep. Plus, there's always something fun going on, whether it's a group activities or just hanging out in the common area. Honestly, I can't say enough good things about this hostel. If you're traveling solo and want a place where you'll instantly make friends, this is it. I can't wait to come back!

Honestly nothing to write here

Friendliness of the staff particularly Mia who checked me in and explained everything politely. From the moment I've stepped in i felt so welcomed. Mia has an amazing customer service and will help you with anything you need to make sure your stay in Barcelona is the best it could be. I've also had a conversation with Fran who was very friendly and helpful. There is a free tea and coffee facilities and sometimes even free dinner for all the guests but busy with exploring beautiful Barcelona didn't have a chance to try it, staff is also organising nights out for all guests which is something amazing if you like partying!! Friendly and safe place to stay!! Thank you

Unfortunately I stayed only one evening but OneFam made sure that it was unforgettable. I was welcomed by Gabri who was super nice. There is such a wide variety of people, who are all amazing. If you’re a solo traveler, I would definitely recommend coming here. Everything is made possible so that you have the most fun. Walking tours organized, special access to nightclubs,.. Everything you’re looking for, you’ll find at OneFam. I travel a lot but this is probably the best hotel I’ve stayed at, with the best staff. Special thanks to Esmeralda and Miranda for organizing the outings in the city.

I had to leave :(

I had a blast staying at OneFam Ramblas! The hostel activities were a great way to see the city, meet new people and enjoy the nightlife. The facilities were well-maintained and the staff did an amazing job cultivating a sense of community at the hostel. Shoutout to Sofia, Brian, Will, Jayden and Chris at Ramblas for making the stay so special, and also to Amy who was basically our personal tour guide for a day after visiting the Bunkers del Carmel with the hostel!

It gets a little toasty in the 8-bed rooms even with the A/C, but overall my stay was very comfortable!
