First time staying in Oceanside. The location is very nice. We arrived mid day, and the room was ready. We also got late check out, and since we were not owners at this timeshare, we were able to park across the hotel at an open parking lot for $5 a day. We got our key wristbands from Concierge and, of course, offered us gifts deals ( timeshare sales rep) We nicely refused, and the rep wasn't pushy. The lobby was nice and comfortable. Had stacked fridges of snacks and drinks (non alcoholic). Self-serve scan and go pay kiosk. Very convenient. The 1 bedroom room on the 3rd floor was super clean, no weird smells, no dust, a balcony, partial ocean pier, and pool view. Spacious plenty of room for two people fully equipped as a furnished apartment. Had a washer and dryer, vacuum, and full kitchen with all the necessities. Central air-conditioned, freshly painted walls, curtains looked as new. The king-sized bed was comfortable, with very clean bedding. The bathroom had a jacuzzi tub with a shower that had shampoo and conditioner, body wash bottles wall mounted. Towels were super clean and not old. The furniture was acceptable, but I would like to see an upgrade in the future as well as the carpet (was clean but old-fashioned). Queen sofa bed super heavy and needs upgrade. Things to do were walking distant to downtown, pier, beach, and other neighboring hotels. The harbor 5 minutes drive and many options of restaurants to choose from. I recommend Joe's Crab Shack.

The elevator closes way too fast. There is not enough time to roll in an empty luggage cart. A second person would have to hustle in..

The location was perfect for us! Right at the pier. Fun activities were constantly going on at the pier area, and you could rent bikes just a few steps away. The view was AMAZING! There are lots of little boutique type shops in the area, and plenty of restaurants around. The staff was friendly and super accomodating. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely be planning to stay again.

The staff is required to invite you to attend a time-share sales pitch. We politely declined, and everything else about the experience was wonderful!

This is a really great facility, right across from the beach. It provides good value compared to the Sea Bird and Mission Pacific next door that are probably 40% more expensive. The rooms are compfortable and I found the bed very nice. If you are looking for hip and swanky, go next door. But if you are a family that wants a solid facility, with an amazing location, this is your place. Oceanside has become very cool, and the hotel is in the middle of everything cool about Oceanside.

Pool area could be a bit nicer. But the view is amazing! Pool is just Eh. Nothing special.

The stay was amazing. The customer service (and smiles) from Valet to the front desk to anyone that you see in the hall. We stayed in a 2 bedroom/2 bathroom. It was so nice coming back after being at the beach to be able to have the kids shower in a seperate bathroom. The washer and dryer are a plus so you can throw in all the beach towels/suits to clean. Having a full kitchen (everything new and clean feeling) to make a few meals makes it so much easier with the kiddos as well. Comfy beds to end the night in. Even the pull out couch for a kiddo was plush.

Not aware of a breakfast as each room had complete kitchen and laundry facilities. Spacious clean and quiet rooms. My family loved being there and will return.

We all disliked the pressure to attend their selling session. I was told I could not get late check out because I did not attend sales presentation. Other than that, we loved being there. One of the nicest places we have ever stayed!!!!!!

The location of the resort was great. You could see the ocean and beach from the room. The kitchen was equipped with all of the key essentials for cooking. I love the free parking. The elevators come right away. The wrist bands were great for security. Also, the door to our room had security features on it. We felt very safe.

What I did not like was being bothered by the person at the desk that provides you with the wrist bands to attend a breakfast/meeting. After traveling all day, the only thing you want is to go to your room and relax. You do not want to be pressured into attending a meeting. When you tell the person you are not interested in the meeting, that you have been there before and that you know the full purpose of the meeting, this person should understand your position and leave you alone.

Staff were pleasant and the location is amazing

I didn't know that Wyndham resorts do not have daily staff to clean rooms. Your room will NEVER get cleaned, not even the tub, until after you leave. That was an extremely disheartening fact that I never knew about this brand of resorts.

The location is the absolute best!

The room needs night stands on both sides of the bed. Lots of kids on property running wild. Hotel finally sent out a text reminding parents they need to control their kids. Do not like that you have to listen to a timeshare speech in order to get your room keys especially when check-in is not until 4:00PM, when we are so tired and hungry!!!

The room is perfect size for family of 5 - 2 separate bedrooms and a pullout sofa, with 2 separate bathrooms, plus kitchenette & washer/dryer. Beach and restaurants all in walking distance so we never needed our car. Fitness center had great options for all kinds of workouts.

Hate the sales pitch for the timeshare right at check-in. It's very pushy and obnoxious. The elevator is always going the wrong way and gets very congested during the morning hours for all the people who decide to go to the timeshare "meeting." Wish the room service folks would have stocked our room with eough initial supplies to last us for our entire duration - we stayed 3 nights and only had enough supplies for 2 (coffee, detergent, etc)

great location, good spacious one-bedroom suites were perfect for our family with kids.

I had an issue when changing reservation dates and booking.com accidentally placed an extra $850 charge. It took me a total of 5 hrs of phone calls over a period of 3 days/repeat calls with both hotel and booking.com to resolve it. It was very frustrating. It was finally resolved, but wish this wasn't such a painful experience and didn't take almost a full working day out of my life to fix an error of booking.com rep!
