Incredible boutique hotel in the heart of downtown Oceanside. Being able to self check-in was a great amenity. We simply walked in the front door, took the elevator up to our floor and used the door code emailed/texted to us to access the room. Once inside, we found our parking pass with a convenient map to the hotel’s off-site lot. The room was spotless & the decor was beautiful. My husband and I loved that there was a restaurant, rooftop bar, beer garden and cocktail lounge all connected to this little 10-room property. We tried every spot & throughly enjoyed them all. We didn’t touch our car the entire stay as there were so many options in the area. We will be back!

Its pretty noisy! More noise than we expected. We were in 302 across from the lift which meant we kept hearing people come out of the lift, we heard the people next to us and their child till 1 am in the morning. The walls are thin! It meant our first night was not a restful one, especially hard given we were jetlagged from our flight from Australia. The restaurant below and roodtop bar noise was contained, didn't really hear anything from there until the rooftop closed down and then you would hear them moving chairs and closing down. Tip: the Samsung TV remote is the least intuitive I have ever encountered, couldn't figure out how to turn down the TV ! After a very responsive text from the property and a you tube video they sent me it turns out you need to "toggle" the button. 😊

The firm bed, the minimalist decor, live plants, the frequent update via texts, the convenience of the key pad, the screen monitor with local information and to self check in/out, and the parking pass.

Wish there was at least one USB outlet/plug for phone charging and wish we stayed on a day the oyster bar was open.

I love the property. Love the location it’s convenient that it’s there’s a bar upstairs there’s a restaurant downstairs. You know you have everything at your disposal. You’re at the heart of basically Oceanside you can walk to the beach if you want to at night go see the sunset. It’s just beautiful and amazing has an amazing view. The rooms are very clean and I was very impressed on like the TV situation in the bathroom situation very impressed. It was a very wonderful time. I am looking forward to booking this hotel again in the near future probably be next week the only thing. I wish that this hotel Deb was like monthly Steve if they had like a flat rate for like the entire month of whatever they had available at that time or you know that would be nice for people that are doing long distance, traveling, business traveling, and Jess quinoa leisure stay for like a whole month that would be nice if you could run out the room for a month month month at a time.

I loved that you could just walk straight to the beach you could go walk the pier you were around so many restaurants are so many stores. The upstairs had a bar the downstairs had a restaurant. It was just very very convenient.

Okay many things: 1. Exceptionally clean hotel - from the entrance to the room 2. 24/7 customer service is available, we texted few times and got responses within minutes! 3. The design of this hotel is something. It is such a fresh thing - like Ace when they just started but even better. Colors, amenities - I can tell how much work was put in there int terms of designing. 4. Location is absolutely prime - tiny walk to the beach and all the central restaurants and bars are nearby. 5. Little perks showing they are truly value the customer and wants them back! Like they give a free coffee at the cafe nearby and a complimentary drink at the local restaurant !

I was travelling for work (from Nevada) so honestly, the location was the selling point for me! I was travelling for work but being a 5-minute walk to the beach were the perfect way to start my day! I was able to get up, walk down to the beach, hit a little coffee shop on my way back and then go on about my day! Once I was done working - I could go down for sunset! The location is great, especially if you are there on Thursdays and enjoy a good market! The facility is super cute!

The beds were not the most comfortable, and the bar upstairs can be loud! Neither of these are reason enough for me to stay elsewhere! Earplugs are easy to use, and honestly the pros FAR outweigh the cons.

Very comfortable bed, clean room, lovely decor plus great rooftop area, lobby bar and coffee shop out back. The whole place is so stylish. Easy to check in and out. Near to everything. Gorgeous views.

The basic room is extra tiny, basically 4 walls. we upgraded for another $50 in order to have a little sofa. Staff was very sweet. Was very loud downstairs but not really an issue. Windows are secure. Needs kettle. Windows need more protection from outside, felt like people can see in. But nice big open view.

Original brick is used in the rooms which makes the decor unique. Warm sunny room with a great view of the city. Centrally located to most of the best restaurants in downtown. Keyless entry, no front desk but didn't need it, they're a text away from any kind of help needed. Look for the complimentary coffee card in the room. Best coffee in town.

If you arrive on a Thursday the Sunset Market is on and there's no parking close to the hotel, but it's not a long walk. The parking structure is a block away but it's free the whole time you stay at the Brick.
