Location

The reason I booked this hotel was because they advertised a breakfast unfortunately they did not have breakfast they did not have hot coffee available very disappointing, my family member is ill and that was a very important part of the stay - a real breakfast was most important. I could have booked a cheaper hotel but paid the extra because I was expecting the breakfast

The location was great, the room was really clean and the bathroom was huge for the price that we paid and it felt pretty luxurious. The TV had a ton of channels which was nice, there was an elevator right next to our room, we had AC which was a HUGE plus! The room even smelled clean which is a small detail but made a huge difference. The staff at the front desk were very efficient and I have never had such a quick check in and check out before.

The toilet dripped a little in the back and there was a fist sized paint chip on one of the walls but that didn’t hinder anything in our stay and we still had a good time.

The room is cleaner and more comfortable than expected. I had an event at Oceanside pier and it's a one mile, straight-shot walk to the pier. But it's a nice walk with lots of stores and restaurants along the way, just be careful of interstate 5 traffic when you cross. There are designated crosswalks, but SoCal drivers are crazy! But my sleep quality was good. There's a fridge, microwave and safe which I LOVE! And the ladies that checked me in were very nice. And there is a bit of a breakfast, just some grab and go munchies to the left of the front desk.

Nothing. All good!! I'd definitely stay here again. Oceanside is a very relaxing place. Please explore.

Convenient to our interests

That there was not a breakfast

I was very skeptical at first because of the ratings, but this place really exceeded my expectations. I came to oceanside for my graduation and booked three rooms very last min and I cannot complain. I have no complaints, but I can say the bed was a little uncomfortable, it was not too bad. And it was only a 15 min walk from the beach, but it didn't even feel like it because you pass so many shops, and it is right next to Walmart. One con I faced was I wanted to upgrade my room but they wouldn't allow it because i booked through booking.

Lots of horizontal space. Good chair at desk. Heater works well. Heavy curtains kept room reasonably dark. Mattress firm but not too hard, pillows OK. Location good, with beaches a short drive away.

Internet connection somewhat spotty: timed out several times, though connection quick at other times. Outside entrances to rooms, off narrow walkway with waist-high barred railing. Acrophobes (like me) might want to avoid the upper floors: the trip to and from the room was a little scary.

Good Location and low noice

The young lady at the office was not friendly at all. She talked down to me because I was 20 minutes late to check out. She had no consideration that I was on a wheel chair and a walking cane. I sent my wife to check out and get my $200 deposit, but the front desk lady sent her away and told her that I needed to be present to get my deposit, And my wife felt scolded and embarrassed by your staff.

The beds were comfortable and the room was spacious. The price was reasonable and that was the main reason I reserved 2 rooms for us and our friends.

We arrived after 3p.m. and the receptionist told us one of the room is ready but the 2nd room is being cleaned. Also, my reservation said $235 for 2 rooms, she charged me $117 for the first room but for the 2nd room she charged $145. She didn't honor my reservation, she said the computer is showing her a different rate. She didn't like the fact that I had reservations through booking. I am a Genius *** member and I have been travelling all over the world using booking.com I have reserved multiple rooms under my name but never experienced a rate change after my arrival. I am in contact with booking and they are working on refunding for the 2nd room.

Didn't have breakfast! The location was perfect for the soccer tournament we were attending.

We unfortunately were next to someone with a baby and the baby cried all night. We didn't get much rest. Understand it's out of the control of everyone. We enjoyed everything else.

Location is good. Stores and places to eat are within walking distance.

The bedding was rough and not comfortable. The air conditioner seemed to work when it wanted to. The deposit is higher than most places, $200 for incidentals and needs to be paid in cash if staying longer than 3 days.
