We had a good talk with the staff when we arrived despite arriving somewhat late. Upon entering our room, we were pleasantly surprised by the spacious layout and abundant towels in the shower, which provided stable water pressure. The room was spotless, and the bed, with its perfect balance of firmness and coziness, was a haven for relaxation after a long day. Finally, we enjoyed the all-day free drink service with coffee and tasty teas. I got several refills. Thank you so much :)

After arriving at the parking lot behind the hotel, we wondered whether there was a lot of wildlife out there. Indeed, the staff told us somewhat jokingly that there was a zoo out there. Fortunately, upon asking, we were moved to the second floor, but we had to swallow the extra parking fee we were not aware of. When we entered the room, we were surprised. It was very chilling. We know that Americans sometimes consider it a luxury to cool down a room to the lower 60s, but it is unsettling if you come from around 90 degrees outside the room. We wished the temperature was more adjusted to the outside temperature. The following day, we enjoyed breakfast, although my wife found it somewhat basic, with a few sweet snack options. Some savory options would have been nice.

Excellent location that was close to Legoland. Check in was easy and staff were very friendly and helpful. We stayed in a queen suite with a sofa pull-out. Room was clean and air conditioning worked great. Breakfast had an excellent choice of items to eat and had a nice seating area. Coffee, tea, and hot chocolate was available at all times in lobby. Pool was small but very clean with towels available. My family enjoyed their swim time. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this hotel. We plan on staying there again if in the area.

The only issue we had was the sofa pull-out bed was extremely noisy and would creek very loudly every time someone would move or turn in the bed. Family member finally just placed the sofa mattress on the floor and slept there to keep from waking others up from moving around.

The staff was super friendly, and very attentive. We requested a couple additional pillows and we had them within 20 minutes. Our was was clean and comfy. We liked that we had a fridge, microwave and coffee pot in the room.

What I did not like was that the lights in the bathroom were not very bright and it made putting on my makeup a little difficult

Modern design. Nice staff. Ample parking, nice firepit in small social area, free cornhole in courtyard, and nice room. This location for me was great. Had no intention of going to the beach, but I wanted to explore Carlsbad. Location could not have been better. There are great restaurants and plenty to do and enjoy in the surrounding areas. Insulation.... none. Could hear everything in every room....room above had children stomping around their room alllllll night. Free breakfast was awkwardly arranged, and it felt like waiting in line at Dennys. Felt like living in the quiet country valley, but there are highways on both sides. Closet was too small.

The breakfast was a good variety. With our group of 11 with a variety of different options was great. The location was a little bit outside the city/beach but not too far. Excellent staff! We ordered pizza in and forgot to ask for paper plates. The staff was very accommodating in providing these for us.

The only thing was in our bathroom the lighting could of been brighter. Everything else was great!!

the staff was very attentive to make everything right. our room was available for early check in which was great! parking was $10 usd per night but considering others that are $30 and above I thought it was reasonable. It was quite and the complimentary breakfast was great! lots to choose from,loved that they had kid friendly options,especially for cereal! the fruit was fresh too! would definitely stay again it was very close to LEGOLAND about a 10 minute or less drive to about a five minute drive back due to the location of the front gate for LEGOLAND.

only wish breakfast hours were extended and not over at 9 am on weekdays and 9:30am on weekends!

We did not like that you charged for parking when there was more than ample parking and other hotels in the area DO NOT CHARGE. This seems like a petty way for Marriott to add to the fees charged. Either put in the base rate or be more up front about the fee. We like your hotel, but will probably not be staying with you in the future.

I liked the location as it was easy to check in/out. The free breakfast was nice. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable.

I stayed on the first floor. The blinds were a little too see thru so someone parking their car in front of the room would be able to look in the window. I would stay on the second floor in the future.

Area was nice , hotel was clean , staff was friendly and accommodating, rooms were spacious although a little old as far as furniture and carpet.

Staffs were friendly. Room was clean. Free breakfast was delicious. Location of hotel is near a lot of places like Legoland, Carlsbad shopping outlet, Carlsbad mall, and food restaurants to eat from. The receptionist even gave my 3 y/o daughter some stickers and coloring things to do when we checked out.

I just hope the water in the shower is a bit stronger, other than that, nothing to complain. 😊
