The property was in a good location. It was quiet at night and the room was clean. The AC worked well, which kept my family comfortable. The beds were comfortable and clean. The free breakfast was fine. The pool and jacuzzi, my kids enjoyed. The staff were friendly and went above and beyond.

Although I understand that rooms are cleaned every other day, It would have been nice to have housekeeping clean our room during our 2 nights and 3 days stay. So, we did not get to experience our room cleaned during our stay. Again, staff were very helpful and friendly, so requesting for extra towels was no big deal.

The 3 lovely ladies work at the front desk are very friendly ,good personality ,I love to come here again ,I love to stayed here because is very clean and the GM Tobby have a great personality ,it was nice to work with him I love Jasmine,Destiny,Karen there very sweet to talk to .I highly recommended this hotel ,stay at Hampton inn Carlsbad. I got nothing to say I love everything

The check-in and check-out process was quick and efficient. The staff were all friendly and pleasant. And the breakfast was delicious the waffle station doesn’t get enough hype lol.

We were located on the third floor, and there must have been an incident with water of some kind prior to us checking in. Because there was a musky smell that did fade as the days progressed. But that was literally the only thing that I noticed.

The hotel staff were exceptionally friendly and always available to assist with any accommodation needs we had. The room itself was spacious, clean, and well-equipped with all the necessary accessories to ensure a comfortable stay. We particularly enjoyed the delightful breakfast offered at the hotel. During our stay, the pool and jacuzzi added an extra level of enjoyment, providing a relaxing and rejuvenating experience. We also appreciated the ample parking spaces available, which made it convenient for us to park our vehicle without any hassle. Lastly, the comfortable beds ensured a good night's sleep, allowing us to wake up refreshed and ready for the day. Overall, our experience at the hotel was highly satisfying, thanks to the friendly staff, well-appointed room, delicious breakfast, enjoyable pool and jacuzzi facilities, ample parking, and comfortable beds. We would definitely recommend this hotel to others looking for a pleasant and convenient stay.

Close to Legoland, Carlsbad Outlets and beach, with nice restaurants nearby.

When I checked in I was told the room I booked was cancelled by booking.com but I never received any cancellation notification and the app still showed my booking as confirmed. I have never had issues using booking.com for over a decade so something tells me they gave my room to someone else as I was not there to check in at 3pm. I thought they could have called me first to confirm. Luckily there was still another room available (the last one) otherwise this would not have been a great review.

The staff was great. Jasmyn at the front desk was very helpful. Breakfast choices were good. The bed was comfortable. Shower was good. Water pressure was great and plenty of hot water. Although the hotel was a distance from downtown Carlsbad, there were plenty of selection within a mile.

Fair amount of noise from the road. Our room was the closest to the road however. Also, the stands that contained the cleaning supplies (hand sanitizer and wipes) were empty.

Everything looked nice outside. Easy to find pool, gym room, breakfast. Easy to get ice and navigate the hotel. The morning breakfast was perfect and the staff incredibly kind and helpful.

I almost passed the entrance at night looking for it. A big sign near the entrance would be helpful. There’s a self storage sign where you pull in instead. So I almost passed it. The room we stayed in was a little dusty (my wife does housekeeping so she noticed this) and the coffee maker had a missing foot making it wobble. Aside from that our stay was very pleasant. Drinks in the fridge would be nice also.

The team member who assisted us, he was very professional and courteous! We asked for a 1st floor and were accommodated with no problem. Parking is free which is an added bonus which was convenient and we parked right outside our hotel window. The breakfast was very nice and had a variety of options. Always great when there is a microwave and refrigerator especially when traveling and having to keep leftovers good and can be reheated. It also helps when traveling with a little one! Great location and about 10 minutes from the Carlsbad beaches!

Everything was great!

Although near a main road and a small airport, the hotel was super quiet. It’s not too close and not too far from the 5 fwy which is great! The breakfast was great and had a little variety as the offerings changed up a bit the two mornings we were there. Beds were super comfortable and the property was clean with plenty of parking
