The king bed was quite comfortable, the area was decently space out, and it was pleasantly clean. I had a nice night!

Parking fairly close to my room was pretty difficult, especially at night, with the parking lot being a bit small. With the location, it can get a bit shady, especially if you are a solo traveler (watch out for people putting trackers on your car) and it being a cheap place, so do be aware and keep a close eye on your car. Inside the room, you will not get hair products to wash your hair, you'll need to bring your own. Also, possibly a towel, because the towels are more so for children, smaller than average.

The Manager was a Great Help. I requested through Booking.com a 1st floor level room for our three night stay due to my wife being handicapped and both of us elderly and unable to climb steps. It was supposedly approved. Upon arrival we were told by the Manager that they had not had been communicated that information and only had a second floor room left. He did promise me if I accepted this room he would make sure to have a 1st floor room available to us the next two nights if we returned to the office at 10:30AM the next morning. I did and he in fact held TRUE to his Word and secured us a 1st floor room for the following two nights as he promised. I appreciate him and I will be going back to his Motel but just booking it direct through him.

The incident with having to take a second floor room when we requested, needed and were assured that we were going to get our Handicapped Accommodations. Our vehicle already is placarded Handicap and my and myself are Senior Citizens that can't climb stairs!

I like the fact that after you check in, you never get bothered from any of the staff, unless you need something, they let you just relax and enjoy your stay! And the gentlemen who I think is the owner is always very nice and very knowledgeable and quick with your check in process, Everytime I go there, he has checked me in and is a really easy going person to deal with and the rest of the staff who work behind the desk always have a smile on their face!

The bathtub could have been a little nicer, it was chipped in a lot of spaces, the water drained fine and it was clean, it probably just needs to be replaced.

Management is cool, clean, affordable, safe, kid and dog friendly close to Costco and Carlsbad State Beach

Many pet owners don’t pick up their dogs poop in the pet area and grass even though this is one of the few motel 6’s left that doesn’t require a deposit for a stay and pets stay free..this is the only con of this location..other than that no complaints whatsoever …and it’s not on the Motel 6 it’s on people not being respectful of an economical stay

The room was clean and roomy. The bed was so comfortable that I overslept. I come to this particular Motel 6 regularly and bring my kids a lot too. They enjoy being here also and make themselves at home everytime. I enjoy having the microwave and refrigerator also. It makes it more convenient when you bring food and drinks with you. Every stay is great when I come stay here.

The only problem I really had was using the the heater. A few times I've stayed and wanted to have the heat on. The heater never reached its full capacity to heat up. It would start to heat and then cool air would come out instead. The air conditioner is always good but the heater doesn't work well in the few rooms that I stayed in.

Room location for me is usually in the same area because I come there a lot. I love that there is a refrigerator and microwave available in all rooms and the television is easy to use. The beds are comfortable and me and my kids enjoy our stay every time we stay.

This isn't a problem all the time but it is a concern if I have to be honest and not beat around the bush about it. Every so often when we have food sitting on the desk or on the microwave and refrigerator stand, there happens to be a roach or two coming out. Like I said, I haven't seen it a lot. But I've noticed the last two times I've been there.

The owner, and staff are amazing. I'm happy that I didn't believe most of the awful reviews and decided to give them the benefit of the doubt. It's a huge hotel with a pool. I don't think there's anything wrong with this hotel or the business. I think that the problem is the people that rent the room. Some of them are nasty with no morals whatsoever which end up trashing the place cuz of course they can't carry it's not their house. It's literally in the middle of everything. Best hotel stay so far. Thank you so much!!! I appreciate you guys a lot. Even the cleaning staff. They were so respectful so nice!❤️

The only thing that I didn't like was that the sink was leaking a little bit of water. And that there were a lot of individuals , wandering outside the room smoking weed. But other than that it was a great stay.

Everything worked, and everything was clean.

I wanted to pay cash for the entire 4-night stay. The website where I reserved the room said, "Your card will not be charged," and that the card information was just needed to reserve the room. When I got to the motel, staff had already charged $82 from my card. I paid the rest in cash. Expect your card to be charged if you stay here, even if the website says it won't be.

Location. It was perfectly situated between my work and my childrens' schools. I work in downtown Encinitas, but my children go to 2 different schools in Vista. This location was easy for me to jump on the I5 to get to either schools or work in less than 20 mins.

Killed a roach, I found in the bathroom. Made me start actively searching for any more. However, I never found another.

Got a room in the back building, and on the corner, which was perfect for us, I like that they gave me a room that I wanted and the bed was a King size, so lots of room and room was a decent size and clean! The gentlemen who I believe was the owner was very personable and easy to communicate with! Like the fact you can get towels sheets pretty much anything anytime if day you needed! And even the maintenance men were very nice and no one bothered us! ABSOLUTLEY WONDERFUL PRICES!

Only thing on the second to the last day the bathroom floor started getting flooded, and it turned out to be the shower in the walls, so there was mold and it kinda had a foul odor, but the matienance man came and patched it up and it helped for the last couple of days we were there.
