The property was great we travelled to visit Lego land. This hotel was right across the street from the shopping center. We were close to a lot of different food locations. Chick fil a, in and out panda we were close to them all. Loved that this place had a shuttle, only problem was the time they had change the time it and I had called in advanced to ask, I had to end up ordering an uber back. I wish the rooms were a lot more clean. The room I was given did not look like the ones in the pictures.

Love that everything was close by we went to Lego land and shuttle was great just wish they gave us the correctly for the shuttle. Room needed to be clean a lot more, and pictures have to match the description of the room provide on the site

Perfect Location for a Legoland Trip! We had a great stay at this hotel! One of the best parts was how incredibly close it is to Legoland—less than 10 minutes away, which made it super convenient, especially after a long day of walking and having fun. Being able to get back quickly and relax was such a bonus. There are also plenty of restaurants nearby, and the outlet mall is right across the street—just a short, easy walk. It made grabbing a bite or doing a little shopping really convenient. The parking is great- you park right in front of your room if available! There’s a little patio out in the back and it’s a big beautiful green area perfect for toddlers to run around and in the morning.. Overall, the location couldn’t have been better. Highly recommend for anyone planning a Legoland trip!

One thing to note: our room didn’t have a phone, and we looked everywhere. I know the hotel is going through renovations, so that might explain it, but it was still a bit unexpected. Still, we enjoyed our visit and would consider staying again.

We love this location in Carlsbad. Close to shopping, restaurants, and even Costco! Very close to Legoland, but still close enough to visit attractions in San Diego or on the coast. The rooms were recently updated and felt significantly fresher than the last time we stayed here. They are more spacious than the standard two-queen hotel room. The daytime staff was very friendly and helpful.

Beds were very hard. Some rooms are quite a walk from the parking lot. No elevators for rooms on the second floor.

How peaceful it was & It was near everything we possibly needed.

we called for house keeping 2 times & the first time they cleaned it so well & we left them a tip & thank you note.. they wrote us back with a kind message, But the 2nd time we allows during the week .. it wasn't cleaned beds were made but nothing wiped down.. floors were dirty nothing was swept or vacuumed. Now we do pick up after ourselves we just had a few trips to the beach & we have a 4 year old so of course we had some sand. Other than that everything else was great.

Pool is large and warm for the kids to play in October. 5 min drive or shuttle to Lego land, some food near by at the windmill and mall across also costco. Staff is great, kind and attentive to any needs we had.

We were a far drive from the good beaches like Lajolla shores(40mins) seems we always had a jaunt down the highway to good restaurants or beach. The rooms next to pool are cozy and convenient but older and not updated, so the door to bathroom was very sticky and mad loud noises- which is annoying in when kids are sleeping to use potty. The bath floor was always moist and shower water pipes made knocking sounds so had to fuss with it.

The room was clean, I walked around in my white socks and they were still white. Had good A/C comfortable beds and I had asked for extra pillows and they were there in the room when I arrived. It was my 3 children and I and the hot water in the shower never ran out also had great water pressure. The second night the jacuzzi was working and the pool was clean. The pool area was absolutely beautiful with nice covered and uncovered chaise as well as plenty of clean towels pool side.

The first night we arrived the pool was not very clean and the Jacuzzi wasn't working. When I inquired about the jacuzzi I was told it would be working soon. When we began to unpack I discovered that there is some kind of severe warp in the floor in our room (253) as the drawers kept opening. We finally propped suitcase against them. On the second night I had to go get fresh towels from the check in area. The wifi went out that second night and was still not working when I checked out the next day. This was a bit of an inconvenience as I had a 2 hour conference call the next morning so instead of using my laptop I had to use my phone. I also received no check out receipt because their computers weren't working with no internet. I thought maybe I'd get an emailed one but no such luck.

I liked how safe I felt in the neighborhood. My window regulator broke on the driver side;therefore the glass was all the way down and could not be retracted. No one broke into my car. I also loved the food court next to the hotel and the guest laundry room. Oooh and the outlet stores across from the hotel too!

I have nothing to say. I just loved everything!

The pool was clean and had towels in the pool area, rooms were big, had a fridge and microwave and nice size tv. I love the balcony area to sit every night.

I stayed 3 nights and the housekeeping NEVER came once to clean the room. We didn't have a do not disturb sign and we were out all morning until late afternoon. I had to empty my own trash can cause it was full. So I'm confused as to why they didn't even bother to clean it once.

Quiet, family oriented, Convenient Location ,facilities , restaurants nearby, staff always very helpful, solves any issues right away.

Stay here all the time but most of the beds could be replaced, sinks in the middle or squeaky, floor wasn't clean, gave me dirty feet, had them clean room next day and so much better. Have had trouble in past with shower rumbling, had them fix it while out, but this stay our neighbor had that noise. So obviously hotel has some plumbing issues still. Wish they had some light healthy breakfast options besides box cereal. No microwave, that's essential in hotels to warm up leftovers. Tree limbs laying right outside our patio probably leftover from recent hurricane.

Location Location Location!! We came to Legoland and it is just across the street from it & only 3 miles drive to Carlsbad beach! This place was great for the value I liked how it was smoke free, clean, great WiFi & staff definitely exceeded my expectations. We stayed our next 2 nights at Legoland castle hotel because my kids love it there and that was the plan from the start!

My kids saw a bug crawling on the towels and shaked it into the toilet luckily we packed our own towels…….we only used their towels for the floor!
