Perfect location, room was big and very clean! Staff was friendly!

Ads says breakfast included but there was only coffee and juice and ONE chocolate filled pastry. This is not breakfast included not even continental breakfast. Even a few fresh fruit and instant oatmeal would be better than what was offered

The location was perfect, within minutes of all we needed for the weekend - close to soccer fields, the beach and food venues we wanted to go to. The room was simple, but clean. All we needed was a place to refresh and sleep. It is quiet, even being by the freeway. Easy check in and check out. No frills hotel close to all we needed in Carlsbad.

The beds were clean, but thin, so more comfortable beds would be nice. The TV is small (not really a big deal). the room had a bit of a musty smell (kinda like it had been hotel cleaned, if that makes sense) so not really bad either but I noticed and immediately wished I had brought a scented candle or room spray.

The room was spacious and clean. The staff was pleasant and accommodating. There is freeway noise, but it's like white noise, so didn't bother us at all. There is a church next door, so we felt safe--and no sign of vagrants in the area. There were plenty of pillows and towels. There were plenty of USB charging ports, and some well-placed outlets. I brought an extension cord, just in case, and did end up using it at the desk for my hair dryer. We didn't need our room serviced since we were only there 4 nights and they offer cleaning every 3 days. It was only the two of us and we weren't in the room all that much, so that wasn't an issue at all for us. The pool has a handi-capable chair lift! We don't need that, but I thought that was impressively considerate. And it's a short drive to the Village area.

We would have appreciated an in-room safe. There are no dressers where you can put your clothes that don't need hanging. There is no fan in the bathroom. We used the pool, but couldn't smell any chlorine in the water, and couldn't tell if the greenish hue was from the sparkly tile bottom or if it wasn't clean. So, we didn't go under the water but kept our faces above the whole time.

The room was VERY clean and quite spacious. We appreciated the little eating table. It would have been nice to have a little couch and/or sitting area to watch TV, but we were comfortable laying in the beds. The bathroom was very clean - smelled of bleach when we entered. There were 4 pillows on each bed and the sheets and blanket served us well. I loved that we could control the temperature in our room. That was an added bonus. Despite being located right alongside the freeway, we did not hear ANY freeway noise while we were in our room. The facilities were clean all around. We used the patio table every day of our stay to catch up and chat and eat. We loved the space!

The door did not close all the way on its own. We had to make sure to pull it shut. There was not much of a continental breakfast - packaged pastries, one pitcher each of orange juice and apple juice and 2 carafes of coffee and one with hot water. The elevator was super slow, but it was only 3 floors, so it wasn't a huge deal.

Clean and comfortable rooms and very friendly and helpful staff.

The continental breakfast consisted of only cookies and 2 other pastries plus coffee and juice. We were expecting something more than just cookies and pastries.

The staff was quiet but friendly. The bathroom is big compared to the next hotel we stayed in. The pool is EXTREMELY small but it worked out so we had it to ourselves almost every time we went swimming. I lived the layout of the building.

We were expecting queen beds and they were full so it was a bit tight but in general we were very happy. We had many bugs come out of the light fixture two nights out of our five night stay.

The room was really spacious, and even though the hotel is located next to the freeway, it was surprisingly quiet you couldn't hear any noise at all. We didn't try the breakfast; however, for us, it was more important to have a fridge and microwave in the room since my kids have multiple food allergies, and the hotel provided that. The location was great, and the price was not bad at all.

Check in was a mess😞A baby argument broke out because a mistake was made on their part wanting to over charge & wanted to put me on Blast Saying “ You don’t have enough money!!” In front of everyone in the lobby. Didn’t work I use to work for Expedia an knew there could be hiccups, wasn’t getting all my money. I called a week before confirm all charges so please sir just stop. I had the exact amount with $20 bucks over, so what he was trying to charge was not going through😅I told him he needs to fix it!! Because this is not on me. He did and there was no more shenanigans.

My stay was absolutely wonderful. My room was very clean, spacious and comfortable. It’s in a safe area and safe for a family. It was also close to a Vons, a restaurant and three gas stations. Everything you need just around the corner.

I expected more with the breakfast. They had coffee, juice and one type of pastry. I was expecting a little more.

I loved the location. My family and I came down to spend a couple of days at Legoland for our son’s birthday. I was extremely shocked at how close we were to not only the theme park, but food, public park, gas station’s and grocery stores. All of which were walking distance except for the theme park. We even had a small issue with our bathroom and the staff fixed it right away. They really made the trip that much easier to enjoy with piece of mind that they’ve got me covered. Can’t wait to come back!

I honestly don’t have anything to put. This hospitality exceeded my expectations.
