Nicest Motel 6 I have stayed at. It was obviously upgraded in the recent past. It was clean, well lit with good amenities.

The freeway noise was a big downside. It was expensive, especially when you consider Motel 6 got its name for being $6/night. The management was not very friendly either. There was no breakfast or even a coffee maker in the room. I had to ask for shampoo. They don't supply anything but two tiny bars of soap.

The staff at this Motel 6 were friendly and experienced. The location near Carlsbad Village was great. The room was very clean. Having a fridge and microwave was helpful.

There are always things that one can control and others that one cannot control. It would've been great if coffee was available from 6:00 a.m. on. I had to go out to Circle K to get coffee because I was up early, and there wasn't a coffee maker in the room. Also, the motel is right next to I-5, which is continuously noisy.

Room was huge, lots of space to work with. Pet friendly, plenty of places to walk the dog and with doggy bags provided. Bed is super comfortable, especially at this price point. Plenty of parking outside also. Room service was super attentive, even organized our plushes and duvets for us. Everything was super clean.

Hotel is next to a pretty busy highway and the walls are not nearly thick enough to block out the noise, had to have the TV running every night. Couldn't find the elevator if there is one, had to carry large luggage up stairs, but this was probably just an oversight on my end.

Room was clean, the bathroom had Delta fixtures, and granite countertop. I liked that they had a nice tub. The only thing that I would improve on is to mention in the website that no shampoo or conditioner is provided. (I would have brought my own.) Walking distance to a restaurant pie shop. Only complaint was that it was a bit noisy with children, pets and families and I-5 is about 50 yards away.

Staff are very nice. We stopped here after a long drive from Washington State and right when we are about to park our car won’t start and we didn’t get to park our car with u-haul in the back. And the guy at front desk that time which is between 12am-2am let us park the u-haul on the side while we are waiting for the tow to get our truck and take it to the nearest car shop. The workers that working on the office roof helped my husband to move the u-haul so it won’t be in the way of everything while we are waiting for our car to get tow and fix. We end up staying 2 nights and didn’t worry about anything since we can see our u-haul just outside our room.

This was hands down the best Motel 6 we have ever stayed at. Clean, comfortable, room cleaned and towels refreshed every day of our stay. Friendly, helpful staff.

Curtains didn't keep the night light out, they could be hung a bit lower or get longer curtains.

It was ok for the price think we could have found something nicer for the price

It's right next to the freeway so a little noisy found a hair on the pillow which was really gross didn't use that pillow I'd suggest bringing your own pillows they were flat and not comfortable

A very nice property for Motel 6. The Deluxe King room was very large. Everything was super clean. The decor was nice and high quality. The bed was super comfy and the four pillows were very nice, with crisp clean linens. It was nice to have a big fridge and microwave. I loved the outside too, with pretty palm trees and landscaping and nicely maintained building. The pool looked very clean and sparkly. It was also super quiet. I didn’t hear the freeway or any other guests at all. Will totally come back again.

The only thing that wasn’t great was the TV picture quality. It seemed like a decent flatscreen but the signal quality or cabling wasn’t good, so the image looked blurry and low-res. Maybe it’s somehow not digital cable? Not that important, given that the rest of the room was quite good.

Spacious rooms good price if you go on certain days and good clean rooms and a comfy bed.

A couple of rooms have very little water pressure coming from the faucet but this is just a minor inconvenience.

Very basic but clean and exactly what you would expect from a Motel 6. They're slivers of soap are very small, you might want to just buy your own at a convenience store.

$250 a night is really a high price for a budget hotel even during the highest tourist season
