We truly enjoy this resort—it’s one of our favorite local escapes. We dine here often and always recommend the hotel and restaurants to friends and family. The interior design is stunning, and the moment you walk in, the scent and atmosphere immediately transport you into vacation mode. Its also great that guests have access to the Mission Pacific pool, nice bonus.

It would be great to see the hotel offer more consideration for local guests—perhaps through waived resort fees or special rates—so we’re not subject to the same tourist upcharges. A thoughtful locals’ program or discount could go a long way in building community loyalty.

Location is right across the street to access the beach. The staff was friendly, courteous, helpful and model the customer service that you would expect at a resort of this caliber. The gym offered 32 degree cooled wash clothes that I used to ice my joints after working out at a very clean and modern gym. I absolutely would recommend and stay again.

Allow guests to have the option to eat at the onsite restaurant without making a reservation. Especially for a single female arriving to the hotel after a flight and want to enjoy a good meal, with great ambiance without having to leave the building.

Dog friendly hotel. Great location right across from the pier and next to shopping and dining. Beautiful design with an incredible aroma. Friendly staff. Very accommodating to your needs. Complimentary rentals (surf boards, boogie boards, beach chairs, umbrellas, towels, sand toys, etc) So many activities for kids and families; ping pong, corn hole, pool table, board games, coloring stations, s’mores kits for the fire pit, movie nights by the pool, painting classes, the list goes on and on. Gorgeous, safe hotel.

Valet parking is the only offered way to park here. Almost $60 a day. We had two vehicles so it added up for our week stay. Also, the pool area gets extremely crowded. The hottub is far too small for all the guests. It was more of a kiddie pool and was always overcrowded.

Absolutely wonderful! The whole resort was really high end. The pool the facility fireplace and fire pits all over! The beach chairs and umbrella set up included! They only downside was this was a top notch resort and the kind bed was not supportive. Also the fold out mattress in sofa was awful my daughter woke up in pain. So she ended up just sleeping on it like a couch which was more comfortable. They really need to take some of the money and get better mattresses.

The "main" restaurant, the "Piper" was expensive in the morning and rude in the evening. On 12/26 we walked in at 8:00 pm, the restaurant was open to 9, it was half full. They refused to seat us; then offered us an 8:30 after I had a tough talk with the manager. They wanted to let staff go early .. they know that they need to be able to feed their guests on holidays (or at least honor their hours). I had 2 good rooms for 6 days (almost $10K) and was treated this way. The bar served us food and the resort nicely gave us a modest credit for problem at the Piper. Great staff most of the resort -- just a snafu on 12/26 with the Piper. I would go to this resort again.

Loved the room and our view of the ocean. The linens and pillows were very comfortable. We hosted a party in the guest lounge and the service was 10/10. Interior spaces were all clean and tastefully decorated.

Sunday brunch was SO expensive and not that great. Food quality was a 5 or 6. The service was great but I couldn't believe we were charged $48 per person for the 'buffet'. The room was noisy. I enjoyed the fact that you could hear the waves crashing, but we could also hear everything else going on, on the street. This is not something the hotel can fully control, it was just difficult to sleep. The mattresses need to be turned/flipped, they slope to the edge.

The quality of the entire operation. The staff (everyone of them) were genuinely dedicated to being available for whatever we needed. The facility is comfortable and all amenities are inviting Most of all we felt completely relaxed because the vibe is just right for a relaxing fun time! Somehow they have figured out how to do everything right for a great guest experience.

That we hadn’t reserved more nights. Private note:for Booking: When we checked in we were informed that our reservation was canceled. We did not cancel! It makes me question using Booking for future reservations. Fortunately the hotel manager worked for quite some time to find us a comparable room. It was important to us because of my husband’s terminal illness and our need for a few days of respite in a stress free environment. I would like to hear from you explaining what you understand might have happened.

Seabird was amazing! The entire property was beautifully maintained, the staff was super nice. When you check in you get a class of Champagne, they take your luggage up to your room. Valet parking is $45/day, but there is other lot parking nearby for $5-$10/day, but that expires at 12am, so you'll have to go out and pay for the next day. We did valet parking for the ease. The pool is fantastic and the resort is beach front. Everything is in walking distance. Oceanside is a regularly visited destination for our family, but staying at the Seabird made our stay so much better.

We loved the view from our room and the rest we were seeking by our stay at the hotel. The room was quiet and clean. One of the reasons for our choice of the room was the high back chair. It was comfortable and provided for our needs.

There were a couple things that would be good to change. We really desired to have a microwave in our room. Upon check-in we were not told there was a microwave on the second floor that we could use, but even with that one available, we were on the third floor and had to carry our food down the hall to another floor, very inconvenient. Second, when we got to our room, there wasn't any information about the surrounding attractions, shopping or even the room service menu. We felt it presumptuous that everyone would have a QR reader on their phone to find out information about the hotel and other items. We do not use a QR app on our phone and felt lost when we got to our room.

The location was prime! We checked in and were able to walk to anything we wanted to do. The hotel is absolutely beautiful. The room was larger than we expected and the staff were very responsive.

Valet parking is expensive! We used a pay lot outside. The restaurant looked great but was expensive so we did not try it.
