Clean and comfortable. Nice kitchenette.

We were on the second floor. The noise across the hall of constant slamming doors and screaming kids 10 o'clock at night 2 of the 3 nights we stayed there. The floor above sounded like people were running and jumping. Maybe in the future put families on the ground floor.

I was some what disappointed that they only offered breakfast besides on the weekends even though they had a great location for it with the set up . I was also not sure what was going on with the maintainance team as they only had one operating ice machine and no vending machine operational either even though they had them .. I was happy that they had a small shop down stairs to buy some soap for Landry and a few snacks I could get a late night snack as I have a sweet tooth before bed .;) Overall I would recommend this location to friends and family as it was with in walking distance to everything Oceanside had to offer ..

When I book the hotel at booking.com, it says that breakfast was included and there was no breakfast and I thought it was laquinta which I have a good experience before. It would be better not to have it as laquinta.

I didn't like that they ask $200 in cash for deposit. This is inconvenient for someone who doesn't carry cash/debit card. When I check in, I was told that I'll get the same bills when I check out but they gave me $100.

The room was very clean and daily maid service was wonderful!!! They did a fantastic job.

Front desk clerk was rude on arrival. I made a complaint. The ATM in the lobby was out of service yet they demanded a $200 CASH deposit. Vending machines were out of order. No breakfast.

Hidden from excessive auto traffic, just the right amount of rooms were it does not have heavy people traffic noise. their policies are straight forward you have read carefully and completely, security of premises is carefully watched to assure you of safety in mind

Nothing comes to mine, it's all of what is expected if your there for sight seeing, cause Hotel Oceanside is surround with food and cafe amenities outside of the hotel within walking distance of 5-15 minutes

There wasn’t a breakfast offered but I found the welcome, cleaning staff and spacious room with fully equipped kitchenette to be excellent in relation to its rate. The maintenance staff was very helpful too and the hotel is very clean and with security. I highly recommend it for an extended stay and so near the beach.

The hotel is located on the main road but is very well insolated.

My son had flown in to report to Camp Pendleton the following day at one and a bunch of other young fellow Marines had met up at the airport unexpectedly. The property was able to make accommodations for these young Marines, so they were able to stay one night off base Before reporting in the following day as a Mom. I can never thank them enough from the bottom of my heart for being so considerate to these young men they have a big future ahead of them thank you so much.

The Hotel Oceanside aka THO is a small, boutique, and very reasonably priced hotel in Oceanside. I stayed there on business in 2023 and have made it my go-to place to stay whenever I'm in Oceanside (which is often). The rooms have always been clean and the staff cordial and friendly with me. Matter of fact, I've had many engaging conversations with front desk personnel (shout out to Joshua!) and Jennifer (one of the owners). What about that $200 deposit that seems to be a sticky point for folks? I asked about it on my first visit (I read about it on the reservation site before booking, so I was not surprised by it). The young lady at the front desk explained why it was implemented including sharing stories of patrons who lacked what I call 'hotel etiquette' treating the rooms as personal party pits (my description) and threatening the front desk workers issues of room damage were brought up. As I mentioned, THO is a small, boutique hotel. It is not part of a major chain and consequently does not have the infrastructure and personnel power of a large brand hotel. That said, the cleaning staff I've witnessed works hard to keep the hotel and rooms clean. Besides, I like the intimate vibe THO offers. Feels more personal and homey. I've seen a lot of negative reviews of the hotel on this and other sites, and while each experience is personal, I hope you'll give thought to this review and consider giving The Hotel Oceanside a chance it deserves. The rooms were super clean, no funky smells. I love how close it was to the oceanside Pier. I was there for an event at the Pier and it made everything so easy to stay near by. Not just that but In-N-Out is just across the street.

There is nothing negative I can say about this place. It was more than what i expected. I will defiantly be staying there next year or next years even.

The location was great. Easy walk to the beach and Harbor or to down town. It didn’t have a pool or gym but it was perfect for the price. It had a spacious room with microwave and fridge and kitchen sink. The bed was comfortable and room was clean. It was air conditioned as well. The staff was very friendly and helpful will definitely stay there again.
