Sylvie Ann was amazing! and honestly everyone all the staff Lovely. these are beautiful rooms that are pristine. people complain about no AC but do you really need AC when the weather i's so beautiful? The parking is free as well and you can choose to either have free parking with a pass on your dash outside by the parking meters or on the bottom floor in the garage behind the gate. The rooms are extremely spacious and it's just steps to the beach. free beach umbrellas beach chairs and bicycles to use as well

there was nothing to be unhappy about.

We enjoyed how beautiful the view of the beach from our rooms .The rooms were very spacious and clean .kitchen was well stocked with all the necessities .Everything was from walking distance.The staff front desk,housekeeping, parking garage easy to park.A beautiful display of flowers,thoughtful card congratulating our 50th Anniversary ,it was a wonderful gesture very much appreciated.What a beautiful Surprise.

Wish the check-in would have been sooner to enjoy it more.We checked-in around 1:30 and did't receive a txt till 4:05

We love the location for the price we paid well worth our stay! We especially love how the rooms were upstairs and that there was a half bathroom downstairs. Although we weren't front beach view we were still facing the ocean and was able to hear the waves and smell the salty air so that was nice. We also love that it was walking distance to many restaurants and shops and steps to the beach. We love the staff. They were very welcoming from check-in to check-out. The unit we stayed in was the 2 bd unit. The unit had almost everything you could possibly need. It exceeded our expectations. We definitely plan to come back next next year!

The parking meters that were in front of our room entrance were majority of the time occupied. But we were pretty lucky to find spots across when we needed to park. It made loading and unloading a pain.

The rooms are so beautiful and clean. I've stayed here twice and both the rooms I checked into appeared almost brand new. Every single staff member is GENUINELY friendly and accommodating. It's not feigned sincerity, but genuine kindness. Parking is free and beds are comfortable, and HUGE. There's a king size, and then there is A KING SIZE. It's KING on steroids, not an exaggeration.

Nothing to dislike

The location was right on the beach!! Great facility, rooms were fantastic and the staff was very friendly! The FREE use of bikes was appreciated as well as the FREE parking!

There is only one small Jacuzzi... Wish there was a couple of them and hopefully larger. The parking was very tight and our Honda CRV barely fit in the tight spot between the metal and concrete columns.

The location is in the center of town. You can walk to everything. The staff is friendly and excellent in what they do. The rooms are spacious and clean. It doesn't get any better. When I'm able to get a place there I feel very fortunate thank you Southern California beach club you're the best.

Having to leave

Room was very clean and bed was really comfortable.

The room view was not as advertised. This was not the fault of the hotel, but it was a very misleading ad by Booking.com ... The photos in the ad show the room patios directly facing the beach and the pier. The hotel has 2 buildings and the one we were put in does not have a beach view at all. VERY disappointing for the price we paid. We were told at check in that there is no option to pay extra for a beach view. You get what they give you only. Accomodations are nice but we will not stay there again.

When I stay at the Southern California beach club I feel like I've come home. I never want to leave. To me it's perfection. Can't wait till I can come back. Waiting for my favorite two rooms to be available. The location is walking distance to everything There is activity in Oceanside on the Strand 24 hours a day. I enjoy bringing a different friend with me every time , so they can experience the Southern California beach club

The room is never available more than 2 days in a row. My stay is never long enough

they gave my parking spot to another guest and when I talked to them about it and told them where I parked they said that's a bigger spot we need to move you to a different spot and it was so tight getting I. and out
