This place was very clean and comfortable. The beds are to die for. We had a hard time wanting to leave it!! The front-end desk folks were very sweet even though we arrived so late. That shower was worth the 10 hour drive to make it to this hotel. Also the back porch area was so cute. Great for a morning cup of coffee

Honestly this place was pretty perfect. My only issue is the housekeeping bothered us about 3 or 4x roughly 2 hours BEFORE checkout. The first time we had just gotten up. I was getting our stuff together amd I hear a knock on the door and a few seconds later someone attempts to come in. Its the housekeeper. I let her know were still getting ready. She comes back 20 minutes later. This was all before 9am. Next im next door planning our next stretch of driving and the housekeeper jist walks in. We let her know wear not ready to checkout yet. She says she'll come back later. Less than an hour later she just walks in. Finally I asked her to not come back until after 12. Checkout is at 11 if i remember correctly.

Exceptionally clean hotel with impressive facilities and attentive staff. Very large rooms and a good value for the money. A short distance away from the mall, eateries and things to do and explore in Redding. Very nice pool and spa area, including a kids pool, in house restaurant with live entertainment and room service available. Very comfortable beds, Direct TV, stable wifi, free parking and easy access to I-5. Will definitely be back!

The only drawback was the room was a little warm and I would have preferred a tub/shower combo for my small son, but the shower was very nice and good sized.

I have always liked the location of this hotel. There are plenty of restaurants in the area and you're close to plenty of shopping as well.

I stayed here all the time when traveling back from Arizona and Nevada over the years to Oregon. This was my first time staying here in almost 5 yrs. They have clearly renovated this hotel in that span but, it still just feels old. This is a great hotel if you're looking for affordability but, there are a couple of other hotels that definitely would be nicer on the other side of the highway or along the same road (Hilltop), if your looking for a more luxury feel.

Great Location at a good price. The rooms are well appointed and large. Keyed entry to inside hallways to rooms are secure. We had a nice view of the courtyard and pool. The hotel is being remodeled and updated. The bathroom was clean. The hotel's lobby is grand and the breakfast/dining area is a large open room with lots windows. The food was good and there's a Pete's Coffee Bar located inside the breakfast area.

The front office was not informed our reservation included breakfast, so we had to straighten that out. The wood floor in our room was dirty. There was a constant droning noise in our room so we had to wear ear plugs to sleep. could have been a venting system on the roof, but we don't know. It wasn't the room's heating system or the refrigerator because we turned both of these off, but the noise continued.

I had a really pleasant stay in this hotel. The lobby, the hallway, my room were very clean. The staff in the front desk was very helpful and very accommodating.

In the hotel's website, it says that there's free breakfast. Unfortunately, there wasn't. You have to pay for it separately. Overall, that experience didn't hinder me from giving this hotel a very positive feedback.

The room was large room, had good beds, a clean bathroom that was supplied with ample towels, shampoo and tissues. Our room was quite and comfortable. Breakfast was good. A coffee bistro in the dining area was slightly confusing, and it's not included with the breakfast.

The only thing with this hotel, as is with many hotels, is the heating and air conditioner fan is loud; quieter would be better.

Breakfast was good parking was good. Loved the adjoining rooms. Beds were comfortable and even though it was raining, was fun swimming and getting in the hottub. Front desk was nice and very helpful!

The cleanliness of the room wasn't great. There was obvious food splatter on the wall and under the bed was extremely dirty. The coffee pods from the last guests were still in the coffee pot and there was sugar all around it.

We stay at the Red Lion on Hilltop most every time we are in town.. it's always clean, quiet, convenient to shopping and dining locations. The pool and hot tub are well kept as are the grounds around the hotel. We thoroughly enjoy sitting on the balcony for our morning coffee before we head to the next destination.

We went to restaurant in Red Lion Hotel and there was live music that had us dancing in our chairs! 1960-70's songs. Great songs and the dance floor was full. The food was wonderful! We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and stay. In the morning breakfast was a very nice spread. The French toast was some of the best I've ever had! Again, we were completely satisfied and are looking forward to our next stay! The sheets smelled so fresh. I drifted right off to sleep 😴.

We didn't have a longer stay! Perhaps next time. Actually, we had this room 1 1/2 weeks ago and there still was the longest cobweb on the wall. About 18 inches. See the picture below. Please know that our room was very clean. We'll be back.
