The location was fantastic. Everything I needed was in walking distance. The staff was welcoming and friendly. I loved their texts. They made me feel they cared about making me comfortable and cared for.

The room was on the first floor right near parked cars and a set of stairs to the second floor. People were noisy coming in and out. The room was sweltering when I arrived, the ac helped but took quite awhile to cool it down. I felt the rate was a little high for the room.

Swimming pool was perfect. Hardly anybody used it so we had it to ourselves. Lots of towels available, lounge chairs. There was a fridge with freezer, microwave, TV. Location was #1 priority as it was close to Amtrak and we had to be there at 3am. Breakfast was included - bagels, cream cheese, hard boiled eggs, toast, oatmeal, coffee, hot chocolate packs, etc. Pancake machine did not seem to be working.

Not their fault, but close to a hospital that had ambulance, sirens and helicopter noise.

The room was clean and comfortable, the area felt safe and was a very pleasant, quiet environment overall. Loved the breakfast - nothing fancy, just bagels, juice and coffee, but it was exactly what I needed as a solo traveller in the area briefly.

Air conditioner unit was SUPER loud and there was some kind of product on the floors which stained my feet black. Shower pressure was also a bit sad.

The front desk was quick and helpful. The pool was great for the kids and the renovation of the rooms was beautiful

Breakfast was ok. Definitely not terrible but maybe could use a few more options. Also our TV didn’t work and we were offered to move rooms but with kiddos that would have been a hassle. Just changing the TV would have worked but it didn’t happen. Not a big deal since we weren’t there to watch tv but just a slight inconvenience

Shower was missing a curtain Breakfast, although I expected basic already anyway, was a bit disappointing, even at 7:30 (it opens 6-9am) it wasn't restocked (only a few slices of bread left) and the person managing it disappeared for over half an hour

Great location! Kind staff, yummy breakfast in the morning. Lots of quick serve or restaurants nearby within walking distance just minutes to drive to sun dial bridge, turtle bay and the concert venue in Redding where we saw a show.

I had to park on street at night because there were no more sports after getting back from concert. Noise from upstairs and streets

Truly a remarkably well-kept property. This motel has been updated. The front office is tasteful an inviting. The breakfast room is spotless and provides good choices to start one’s day. The pool and grounds were attended by staff who take pride in their work. It as refreshing to find hot water instantly on demand.. Every piece of equipment worked as designed. I really enjoyed my stay in this conveniently located property.

Trains do pass a few blocks away. Nothing that interrupted my enjoyment.

The room was very clean and well appointed. The tv worked fine and was easy to navigate. There was plenty of hot water and the new fixtures were lovely. Jose, the front desk attendant, was working very hard to attend to everyone's needs in the hot weather. The AC worked fine. The bed was very comfortable and I got a good night's rest. Thank you.

The AC was a little noisy, and I found it difficult to figure out the remote. I didn't want to keep bothering Jose, so I chose to just turn it "Off" and "On", because if I left it "On", the fan blew too hard and was too loud. There could be a few area rugs around the room to "warm up" the feeling. It's nice to step out of bed onto a rug instead of the cold floor. The bath linens were adequate, but thicker, fluffier ones would really finish off that "Spa" feel that they have almost accomplished. But these are not major things. The room was lovely.

Breakfast was basic but fine. Whole grain breads would have been nice. Cute pool. We loved the open beam ceiling of our second floor room. Great location within walking distance of our favorite Redding restaurant. Quiet. MCM vibe.

See above re breakfast. Bedding felt too heavy in the warm room and A/C was noisy and went off and on a lot. We seemingly couldn't adjust the temp.

Room was ready when we got there a bit early and it was clean. Had everything we need for one night stay. The staff was very nice and the check-in and out were very smooth.

The room is next to a busy street and intersection with traffic noises at night. The AC unit is directly facing the head of the bed with no air adjustment control.
