Felt safe, location was good . Breakfast was wonderful with a hot bar available

Definitely needs to be updated. Bed was very comfortable. Toilet didn’t want to flush, microwave is very old, coffee pot lid didn’t fit the pot so it didn’t pour out correctly. Ants filled the sink area and there is an electrical issue with a plug.

It felt like it was almost gated little place. You have to pass through the front office area to get to your assigned room. I generally dont like taking road trips to CA (pacific coast states) since they have too much theft, vandalizing, and homeless problems that makes you feel more insecure or edgy but you don't see that near this place. The front office is also friendly and the rooms were decent as well.

Just got unlucky where an infant was crying all evening/night. The walls aren't super thin but you can still hear them when everything else quiets down? Not really the hotel's "fault" but probably just the short end of the stick this time

So, this is my first time here. Several things that I like were room service, a lot of the amenities like laundry service, the bathroom, bathtub, tv, refrigerator, and the bed. I also liked the cleanliness of the room, how clean it was and the way the bed was made. I also liked the swimming pool even though I didn't go swimming. The staff in the hotel lobby were really nice, polite, and respectful when they greeted me as I came inside to check in.

Most things that I didn't like at the hotel were no towels only wash cloths. I wish they had towels in the bathroom, at least I brought my own towel to take a shower. I noticed there were no elevator service, I wish there was an elevator to get up and down from the second floor. I noticed that there were vending machines in the laundry room but it was empty.

Very nice place. The motel appeared to be well organized, well run and well maintained in every way. The rooms were clean and nice, and the hotel area was also characterized by good order and tidiness. I found it positive that there was a proper fridge in the room, at the right height (in addition to better space, you don’t have to lay down on the floor every time you need to get something in there). The pool area also appeared inviting and nice. In addition, the staff were both friendly and helpful. There were also laundry facilities at the hotel, which is always an advantage. This also worked great. It can also be mentioned that Caldwell Park is just a short walk away. After a long drive, it can be nice to stroll around the park area and the paths along the Sacramento River. Unfortunately, I didn't get the chance to check out the breakfast (but usually my expectations when it comes to "breakfast" at US motels are very low). This is a place I would recommend, and I would happily return to this Wyndham motel in Redding.

Although I found the cleanliness of the room to be good, it is still possible to raise the level of cleanliness further. There will always be a potential for improvement there.

It was a convenient stopping place on our way back to Portland from L.A., they accommodated our dog and provided breakfast, and the staff was very friendly.

The bathroom was a little cramped, and the mattress was not the best quality—but it serves our needs just fine for an overnight stay.

It was as promised. Easy to find, staff was great and super helpful, lots of space for parking and bed was really comfortable. I read reviews before booking, but complaints were mostly about small stuff (microwave/tv/fridge not working), but I think it’s good value for money. Despite the property showing signs of wear and tear, I have no reason to complain.

I have no negative comments for this place nor staff.

The staff was so friendly, they had a continental breakfast but unfortunately I didn't get to try because I slept in. The rooms were exceptionally clean you don't find it like that very often in motels. And I told the lady that we would be back at some point also I like the fact that somebody was in the office 24 hours a day

The only thing I didn't like was I guess breakfast being shut down by 9:00 it would have been great if they would have stayed open till 11:00 but I understand and I didn't like the fact that I couldn't stay another night

Staff were very friendly. Rooms were nice size and clean.

Had rooms 134 and 129. The beds in 134 were very uncomfortable the springs were poking us. Room 129 had an issue with the deadbolt. If you locked it, it would not unlock. Also the tub in 129 was very slow to drain. Water was past my ankles by the time I was done showering. Went to breakfast and the yogurt they were serving didn't taste right and was slightly grainy, checked the expiration date and they were 2 was past expiration. Informed the staff and they were not pulled.

At first, I wasn't familiar with the area, but when the sun came up and I went outside, I recognised things and have stayed in the neighborhood before. Check-in was easy; staff nice and friendly. Easy parking. Room was a good size with everything I needed for my one-night stay. Competitive pricing. Comfortable bed. Quick and easy to get back on I-5 and close to Lake Shasta.

Would've liked the room to be a little brighter--maybe install LED lighting?

We like staying here because the breakfast is the best in town.. Over the last 5 years we’ve stayed at least a dozen other hotels with breakfast. We keep coming back to this Travelodge because they have the best breakfast around. AND it’s a great place to stay on our way up to Oregon.

We’re trying to think of something we didn’t like and we can’t.
